all i want to do right now is cry and scream and let it all out because it's killing me inside

BLOOD RAINED RAINED from the ceiling, oozing holes in the plaster as it splashed down onto her floors. It fell on her face, sliding into her hair. It swallowed the bed, melting the covers into waves of blood that surrounded her, trying to drown her.

Suddenly, to her left, Connor's face appeared and he shouted at her. "You killed me, Victoria! You're a monster!"

As he advanced toward her, she squeezed her eyes shut and screamed, wishing the images away. When she opened her eyes, her room was silent and still without a trace of the horrifying scene she had just experienced.

"Oh, god!" She sat up, running her hands down her face, finding that she was completely covered in sweat.

"You should just kill yourself," a voice whispered and she quickly turned to look at the left side of her bed to find no one there.

"Eric, where are you?" Tori whispered to herself, pulling her legs up to her chest, and wrapped her arms around them tightly. "I need you."

"Can't sleep?"

Tori sucked in a breath and when she turned to her left this time, Connor was there, leaning against her headboard, arms behind his head. "You know... It makes sense. Guilty conscience."

"You're not here." Tori clenched her eyes shut tightly. "I'm... I've got to be dreaming."

"Then how do you know that I'm not here?" He asked with a grin, daring her to say the words.

"Because you're—" She stopped herself short and swallowed thickly, the noise of the saliva sliding down her throat was loud to her.

Connor sat up and faced her, "Come on. Say it!"

She took in a shaky breath, trying to steady her heartbeat that was picking up it's speed. "Because you're dead."

"Yes. I am." He watched her and smirked. "Was that the first time that you've taken a human life?"

The answer came out of her mouth quickly, "yes." She then gulped and closed her eyes tightly again. "You're a ghost. You got to be..." She began rocking back and forth. "You're a ghost and you're haunting me."

"Can a ghost do this?" He was suddenly pushing her down, his hands going around her neck, strangling her. She choked in surprise and kicked him off of her. He fell off of her bed, but got up quickly, rushing back over to her.

Yelling in fear, she ran into her bathroom, slamming the door behind her. All that was heard was pounding on the other side before it went completely silent.

Sobbing, Tori slid up the ground, her back to the door. Bringing her knees back to her chest, she started crying loudly, not caring who could hear her.

THE SUN HAD long since been up and shining through her bathroom door, but she stayed in the same position, rocking back and forth, hands over ears, muttering things to herself. From her peripheral vision, she could see the outline of Connor before she shut her eyes tightly again.

"You think that's going to allow you to ignore the fact you murdered someone in cold blood!" He screamed and she jumped back, her head hitting the door behind her, and she let out a little whimper before laying down on her side in a fetal position.

"Please. Please just go away. Please," she murmured to herself and she faintly heard other people speaking in her room, but she ignored them as she saw Connor transform into Katherine.

"Is that all you do, cry? Really?! You're more pathetic than Elena." Katherine chuckled darkly before squatting down in front of her.

"Stop!" Victoria shouted before flinching when Katherine growled angrily. "Just... just go away."

"We're going to fix this, Vivi!" She could faintly hear someone shout on the other side of the door before footsteps could be heard walking away.

"They're going to try and get rid of me, but you know I'll stick with you forever," come Connor's voice again. "You killed me in cold blood and my blood will always be on your hands."

"Just go away..."

"I can't. I'm going to be with you forever. A constant reminder of what you've become. So tell me. How did it feel to slam my head into glass?" He snarled as he looked her in the eyes, and she desperately tried to get away from him.

"It was horrible!" She shouted as she jumped up and ran around to the other side of the bathroom. "It's one of the worse things I have ever done!"

"You're lying."

She shook her head as she faced away from him, running her hand at brought her sweaty and ratty hair. "No, I'm not."

"Yes, you are. Tell the truth!"

"I am!" She screamed loudly, so loudly that she was surprised that she didn't burst her eardrums. She swiveled around to face him. "I hated it so much! I have never wanted to hurt anyone, let alone kill someone! I didn't want this! It was an accident." She began sobbing again. "It was an accident..." She whispered to herself.

"Either way, I'm dead," he spat out. "Did you know I had a family? A brother? Parents?"

She choked back a sob, her heart feeling heavy. "I'm sorry. I'm so, so, sorry Connor. I didn't want this. I never wanted this."

"Are you sorry about your parents?" He asked and she took in a sharp breath in surprise, "It's your's and Elena's fault they died. They ran off Wickery Bridge with you in the car, but they weren't supposed to be there, were they? They died because of you." He watched her as she began having trouble breathing, clutching at her chest. "You know I'm not going to stop until you've taken your last miserable breath."

She shook her head as she inhaled and exhaled, trying to stop an oncoming panic attack. "I'm not going to let you do this to me."

"Then get rid of me. Kill yourself. You clearly don't want to live with what you have done." He snarled as he got closer to her, making her fling back into the wall to try and get away from him. "You're something you never wanted to be. A monster. And you deserve to die." He watched her as she tried to look anywhere but at him. "You don't want to listen to me? Fine." Katherine appeared again. "Then how about you and I have a little chat."

Tori took in a large breath, making her cough loudly. "Go away. I don't want to see your face either!"

IT WAS A few hours later, and Tori had ran out of the bathroom, and into her bedroom, slamming herself down on her bed, covering her face up with the blanket to try and get away from Katherine.

"You're pathetic," Katherine laughed out as she watched Tori act like a kid when they saw a monster in the closet. "That's not going to get rid of me, sweetie."

"It will stop me from seeing your face!" Tori retorted back, clenching her eyes shut, trying so hard to stop herself from just jumping out the window. "Go away!"

"You'll kill again," Katherine continued, "It'll change you, and it'll keep changing you until you're just like me."

"I am nothing like you!" Tori snapped as she sat up, throwing the blanket away from her, glaring at Katherine who smirked.

"I was you before you even existed," she commented and crossed her arms, eyebrows raising. "And when people knew the real me... they hated me. And now they're going to hate you, too."

"Shut up!" Tori screamed and jumped up, flinging her lamp at Katherine who disappeared and reappeared on her bed with a sarcastic wave and grin. "I hate you so much! How about you go drive a stake through your damn heart before I do it myself!" She gasped as she realized her words before growling in annoyance, and stomped around her room.

"You can't take back what you did," Katherine commented as she glanced down at her nails. "It can never be undone. You're a monster and you deserve to die."

Tori screamed in frustration and began pulling at her hair. She turned around to look out the window, her chest heaving up and down. Almost compelled, she began walking towards her window, gazing down at how far the ground was from her window.

The sun was setting, and Tori was in awe at the view before she swallowed thickly and reached for her window, about to open it.

"You know what to do. Just ju—" Katherine's voice was cut up abruptly and Tori quickly turned around, her eyes widening when she saw no hallucination there.

"Tori! It's over!" Came Elena's voice on the other side of the bedroom door.

Tori took in a shaky breath before realizing what she was going to do. She dropped down to the floor and let out a wail.

"Tori!" Elena screamed and before the sobbing girl knew, her sister ran into the room, pulling her into her arms.

IT WAS LATER, and Tori was freshly showered, and was curled up in her bed when everything hit her like a brick, and she was both upset and angry that Eric didn't show up.

"God!" She exclaimed and began crying again, her heart feeling both heavy and broken. "I am stupid!" She shouted out to no one as she got mad at herself for relying on someone, especially someone like Eric. "Fuck you! Fuck you!" She began sobbing into her pillow, hating herself for giving her heart up to someone who wasn't there for her when she really needed them.

A FEW HOURS earlier, back with Eric, a rush of feelings hit him hard and he tensed, knowing that his tori was hurting really bad again, and there was nothing for him to do but go ahead in his plan to kill Russell, and then go to his girl.

Running his hand through his hair, he hated himself for having to choose something over the one thing he cares about most — Victoria Gilbert — the love of his undead life.

VICTORIA WAS STARTLED awake by her phone ringing loudly on her nightstand, and she quickly sat up quickly, gasping. This had been the first time she was able to sleep since her nightmare the night before.

Quickly, she grabbed her phone and was surprised to see Tara was calling this early in the morning. "Hello?" She croaked out as she answered.

"Jason told me not to call and worry you, but I knew that you needed to know what happened," Tara choked out which had Tori quickly jumping up from her bed, pacing. "Sookie is in the hospital because of that asshole Bill! He almost drained her completely dry! He — he—"

"What?!" Tori screeched, quickly pulling out her duffel bag, throwing anything and everything in it. "I'll try to get there as fast as I can, I promise!" She hung up and threw her phone across the room with a loud crack. She screamed and fell to the floor, her shoulders heaving. "I can't get a break, can I?!"
