She seemed pissed off, "You said you were going to call me. And me as a total idiot, I thought you were actually going to do it, but no ! I was so wrong ! I waited until the end of the day thinking that you were going to call ! But you didn't ! And the next it was the same ! And the day after too ! "Okay...So, you're gonna act weird during nine months ? " He asked curiously. 

She shrugged, "Depends." Was her answer.

He ran in the kitchen, "Cora come with me." He took her hand and led her in his bathroom. Cora just had the time to grab her cookies before to be dragged in an unknown room. She looked around and saw a toilet, shower and sink. She realized where she was then.

He narrowed his eyes at her, "What are you talking about ? " 

"Your baby ! I still can't believe it. I tried to calm down and to accept the all situation, but I can't ! I can't ! I can't, I can't, I can't ! How ? Why ? I t-" The doorbell rang again. Kalvin was about to lose his mind. And in entered his big brother, Kaldrick. 

"Yo ! Lil' bro, I have something to tell you. I can't say it when mama was there, but I can't keep this to myself no more. I have to share this with someone and you're my brother, so you need to know. I have a kid. Can you believe it ? I have a kid. What am I going to do ? " 

Kalvin shook his head and pointed behind Kaldrick who turned around and almost had a heart attack. He didn't know their mother was there and mostly listening to him, "Hey mama..." He said smiling nervously. 

For Donya it was too much, "WHAT ?! " 

Kalvin took his phone that was on the table and started to text their sister to know if she was coming too to confess something. She replied instantly telling him no and then asked what was going on. Kalvin told her what had just happened.

''Sista: Aww shit ! Is he still alive ? Damn ! U think I would have enough time to come, I can't miss that." 

Kalvin laughed.

''BigHead: Hahaha U're such a bad sis ! No, I think you won't have the time. If we were in a cartoon, mum's eyes would be reeeeed right now and smoke would get out of her nostril. But don't worry, I got u. I'll call u later to tell u everything.''

He shoved his phone in his pockets and watched the show with his arms folded. He was praying for their mother not to kill Kaldrick though. He couldn't lose his brother already, they had still a lot of brothers experiences to live and he will really miss him. Even if ten years separated them, they were close since forever. When they were kids, Kalvin was always following his big brother everywhere. He wanted to be like Kaldrick and to do everything like him. He was his role model and he had never changed. If Kalvin needed to talk to someone, ask advice or some kind of help with a problem, he knew there was always Kaldrick to go to. They had each other's back no matter what.

"YOU TWO ARE THE STU-" She cut herself and took a deep breath to calm down. Donya was furious and could destroy everything around her, "I swear, if your father was still there he w-"

She was going too far, "Dad would've never reacted as crazy as you ! He would've been understandable ! " Kalvin said getting angry. 

"Understandable ? About what ? That you two are too stupid to protect yourself !? "

"It is NOT 100 percent efficacious ! " Kaldrick intervened, "And the nerves of you to judge while you and dad were in the exact same situation with me ! "

She looked at him like he had three heads, "Wow ! You know what, I'm just going. You'll talk to me once you'll have learned what respect is ! "

Kaldrick snorted, "You were supposed to teach us that, were you ? " Now, he was going too far. 

And if the situation was not already the shit, Cora had got out of the bathroom and was now in the living room still wearing Kalvin's t-shirt and only that. She seemed to be frustrated, "Oh man, just take me now ! Kill me ! " Kalvin said shaking his head.

"What is that, Kal ? " His mother asked looking Cora up and down with an attitude. 

Cora didn't like it. At all, "I'm not a that ! And my name is Cora ! " 

Donya's eyes traveled from Cora to Kalvin, "Don't you think that you already made a lot of damages ? " Kalvin simply sighed loudly, "I swear, both of you don't know how to use your brains correctly ! " And with that said, she was on her way out. But before to leave, she turned around and pointed her finger accusingly at Cora, "I'm going to keep my eyes on you. You ain't slick ! " And then she slammed the door hardly making a painting fall.

"Kalvin, you better explain yourself ! What is going on here ? Who was she ? And who is he ? " Cora questioned irritated.

"Kaldrick, can you go please. We'll talk later." His brother nodded his head and left quickly. Now it was just Cora and Kalvin again.

"So ? " She was getting impatient.

"It was my mother. And he was my brother. I didn't know they were coming back here. And sorry for my mum's behavior. There is a lot going on in our family."

She noticed it, "Okay. Well I should go, so you can deal with that." She said starting to walk away.

Kalvin wrapped his right arm around her waist to stop her, "Wait ! And what about the baby ? We still need a plan and to organize something for the situation to be as comfortable as it can be."

"I have a doctor appointment next week. After that, we can go to lunch and we'll discuss about all of this. But for now, I think you need to deal with the issues you and your family have." When Cora walked in the living room, she could feel the thick tension in the air. You could cut it with an axe. She thought someone was going to be shoot for a moment, that's how was the atmosphere. So tense. It was like you had put worst enemies in the same room and they were ready to kill each other, "I want you to deal with it first, before to focus entirely on the baby, so your brain will only be focused on the baby. And you'll be more relax too."

Kalvin nodded his head and was grateful for Cora. After all it could have been worse and he could have a crazy baby mamma, but no he had Cora, "Thanks so much for your comprehension. Call me one day before the appointment though, I forget quickly that type of thing."

She chuckled, "Okay."
