{ Three Weeks Later (2 p.m) }

Cora was with her sister at their mom's house catching up on each other life. Today, the weather was good, not too hot even if the sun was shining brightly and there was a little breeze to refresh a little too. It was perfect to relax with loved ones.

Cora and Sancy had always been close, even if San was three years older than Cora, it often felt more like they were about the same age. Being sisters and best friends has so much advantages. There had never been secrets between the two and they had always known that they can count on each other to help whatever the problem is.

"So, are you finally going to tell us about that man you met about three weeks ago." Sancy asked her sister excited.

The day after the wild night she had with Kalvin, Cora came to her mother's house to pick up her children and she wasn't behaving as usual.

Kalvin and her had hours of sex and the man literally murdered her pussy, so she couldn't get out of bed before the beginning of the afternoon, then the two decided to take a bath together, what took two hours because they were not only cleaning themselves. And after that she finally left his apartment.

When Cora arrived to her mother's house, everybody noticed the way she was walking. It was weird and plus Cora was extremely happy. And in addition she was still dressed in the same dress than the evening. Something was up with her and Sancy and their mother knew exactly what, but Acacia and Almar were fortunately clueless to this.

Her mother and sister were staring at her suspiciously and had a lot of questions to ask, but there wasn't time to gossip. So, since this day, they had to put the interesting conversation on hold. But today, the three women were free and had to spend a girls time together.

"Yeah, we absolutely want to know." Their mother joined them sitting next to her youngest daughter. Sasha Evelyn Mckall was a smart woman with a personality of her own. Even if she was fifty years old, you couldn't tell she had passed forty. She had a body with beautiful curves, her face without a trace of old age, long brown hair that wasn't extension and her confidence was always giving her more attraction. Men were still falling at her feet, but she didn't have time for one of them. Her heart belonged to her husband, that unfortunately passed away five years ago. For her she was still married to Bryan McKall and it will always be like it. 

Cora giggled, "Well...His name was Kalvin and he was sooooo fine. And his thing was...Wow ! " She answered day dreaming about the night she had with the man she will surely never see again. Cora knew it was going to be hard to find another one like Kalvin. Yes, she was really lucky with him.

"Damn ! He got you like that ? Well, no surprise since how you were walking the other day..." Sancy commented trailing off, then she took a sip of her champagne.

Cora eyed her big sister smirking, "Girl, you don't even know what you're talking about ! This man brought me to another world. I was on cloud twenty ! " She could feel her kitty getting wet just by mentioning that night. It was really incredible.

"And the stupid girl you are didn't think about getting his number, huh ? I am right or am I right ? " Sasha asked shaking her head. She wanted her two daughters to find men and to be as happy as she was with their father. She wanted them to find love, but it seemed like they were doing their possible to get her mad. At least, Cora gave her grand-children. 

"Mom, it was just for one night, of course I wasn't going to get his number ! That's not how I want to start a serious relationship with someone." Cora said rolling her eyes.

"Oh please ! We're in a new century. What about the fuck buddy ? " Since she got no answer, she continued to verbally attack them with questions, "Girls, when are yall going to get married ? San, you're about to be thirty soon ! Tic-tac, tic-tac, time is going fast ! "

Sancy sighed loudly. She was ready to go now, "Mum, leave me alone with that please ! Plus, I have a date tomorrow." She informed her little family proudly.

Sasha's entire expression changed immediately as a huge smile appeared on her face. She stood up and started shouting ”Amen” raising her hands in the air. She was happy. She felt relieved. One of her dreams was about to come true. God was answering her prayers, "Hallelujah ! Thanks Lord ! Yes ! " She screamed merrily.

The two sisters shared a look and then shook their heads, "Mum, can you stop please." Sancy mumbled annoyed, but loud enough for her mother to hear her.

"Baby, tell me everything. Who is he ? Oh ! We need to cheer first." Why is she always so dramatic ? Cora was glad to have inherited the calm side of her father. This little thought about the man that raised and loved her brought tears to her eyes. She was missing him crazily. She wished every day that he was still there. It was hard for her. It had been hard for the three women to cope with reality. Bryan McKall was the pillar of their family. The one who always knew what to say and what to do when there was a problem. The one who was always comforting his little girls when they needed him. The one who was spoiling his two grand-children like there was no tomorrow. The one who loved his wife unconditionally and never had difficulties to show it to her and the whole world. The man of the house. Mr. awesome McKall as Sasha was calling him. Without him, it was not the same thing. Life definitely changed of signification to their mind.

Cora took a deep breath and prevented the water to fall. She had promised her dad to cry the less possible, "Was it his car the other day ? " She asked her big sister curiously. She still wanted to know why a new black BMW was parked in her mother's driveway three weeks ago. 

Sancy nodded her head, "Yes ! He wanted me to try it for him, since he was too busy to do it."

"And what is he doing exactly ? "

"He's a lawyer. His father had retired from Conner's law firm and now he's running the family business on his own."

Cora's eyebrow raised, "The Conner's law firm ? Like the largest law firm of USA ? Their revenue just reached  $3,500/m and they had represented a lot of celebrities and billionaires ! Their family's house -No - I meant castle costs more than $2,000,000 ! And the oldest son inherited $25,000,000 for his twenty-first birthday ! And that son is very very gorgeous ! By the way he was on the cover. Mom, did you see it ? " She said loudly reciting what she saw in the magazine Forbes on Monday. She was beyond shocked. She couldn't believe it. Her sister was spending time with this amazing man.

Sasha was stunned, "Wait ! So...You're telling me that you're messing around with a rich man ? " She asked staring at her daughter.

Once again Sancy nodded her head, "Well, I'm not messing around with him. We're dating and tomorrow is going to be our tenth date."

"Tenth date ?! " Cora and Sasha screamed in unison.

"Why did you not tell us sooner ? And since how long are yall together ? " Sasha was a bit hurt that she had kept that away from her, but she was even more relieved than a couple of minutes ago. Her baby had found a man !

Sancy shrugged, "Because...I was not ready to tell you. We wanted to let us a chance at first, take things slow." She answered playing with her fingers.

Cora beamed joyfully. She was content for her sibling. And she wanted to celebrate, so she raised her glass up and waited for her sister and mom to click their glasses with hers, "Cheers ! " And then each one took a sip of her drink. At this moment, Cora started getting hungry, so she grabbed a hot and spicy taste Pringles and brought it to her mouth. She ate it in less than thirty seconds and she was ready to devour more, but suddenly she felt an awkward sensation in her stomach and before her mind could realize it, she was already running to the bathroom to throw up. She let go out everything. It was awful !

Immediately, Sancy and Sasha followed her and they were there to hold her hair. Sasha went in the kitchen to pour a glass of water for her daughter, soon she was back with her girls. She was hoping that  Cora was fine and it wasn't something serious. 

"Baby, my little angel, are you okay ? Are you hurt somewhere ? Talk to mummy sweetie." She couldn't help but treated her like she was five years old again. Sasha was a mama bear and whatever the age her children were, it wasn't going to change. 

Cora calmed down, took the glass and drank the water quickly, then she sat on the toilet. What just happened ? She was wondering what was going on with her body, "I'm...fine."

"Did you already have your periods this month ? " Sancy asked with her left hand on her left hip.

Cora frowned, "What are you talking about ? Of-" She cut herself off, thinking about it more seriously. No. She didn't have them, yet. No. It couldn't be possible. Nothing was telling her that it was possible, "Just because I just threw doesn't mean that I'm..." She couldn't even pronounce the words.

"Pregnant ? Hmmm...You said he put it down, right ? " 

Sancy was starting to bother her little sister, "We used protection and I always have my plan B with me. And I'm eating as usual and I didn't gain weight and I don't have mood swings. I don't have all of this as when I was pregnant with the twins. No. My periods are just late." 

"You know...It won't kill you to take one or two tests." Sasha suggested looking at her baby who was a woman now.

"Okay..." Cora accepted sighing.

Positive. It was the end of the world for Cora. She didn't want to believe it. She didn't want it to be reality. She couldn't be pregnant. She couldn't carry another child. Not at this moment in her life. Not as she was. What meant without a man. After the twins and the disaster with their father, she decided to have others kids once she'll be set with a man, in a serious relationship. Not like that. They used protection, but it wasn't enough. The plan B either. Anyways these things are not efficient at 100 percent, so she shouldn't be too surprised, but she was. No, it was beyond that. She was astonished and confused. She was going to have a baby.

"What are you going to do now ? " Sancy asked sitting next to her little sibling on the couch. The five pregnancy tests were on the coffee table. On some napkins. In front of them. And all positive. No exception. Sasha was on the other couch across from the two young women. She didn't know how to feel right now.

"Well...we still can't be sure. You need to take a doctor's appointment as soon as possible." She told her daughter with a calm tone of voice. 

"Mum, five tests ! They are all positive ! And you still want to doubt about it ? I need to find Kalvin ! He has to know." Cora said with a sad face expression. She didn't know where to find him, or even where to begin with. Now, she was regretting so much to not have got his number. How could she be so stupid ? And irresponsible ? She was mad at herself and her hormones that led her to create this new human being. 

"And how are you going to do this ? You have no number, nothing."

Cora sighed loudly, "Well, I know his name is Kalvin Ryans and h-"

"The sexy basketball player ! Oh, I'm so proud of you, girls ! My babies got good men ! " 

"Mum, no ! Only Sancy. I don't even know if he remembered me. I don't know how I am going to get in contact with him. I'm in a real shit ! "

Her mom's smile dropped, "Yes, true. Well, he's a celebrity and...Oh ! And your sister is dating someone important."

Sancy smirked, "Actually, Yohann is Mr.Ryans' lawyer."

Cora hit her arm, "Why did you not say that sooner ? " She asked her standing up, "Ask your man, Kalvin's number ! "

"Okay, first you calm down. You just said his first name, so I couldn't know it was the Kalvin Ryans you were talking about. And I can't, Yohann is working right now, so you're going to wait for two hours."

It was surely the two longest hours of her life. But it was worth it, since she got Kalvin's number. As soon as she had it in her hands, she didn't wait any longer and pulled her phone out. She composed the number, pressed the green button and then pressed her IPhone 5s to her ear. She was anxious as she was hearing the rings.

The other line answered after the sixth one, "Hello ? " It was strange to hear his voice after three weeks. His sexy baritone voice sounded great and there she was getting wet again. How could he have this effect on her ? What was he doing to her ?

"Uh...Kalvin Ryans ? " 

He chuckled at the end of the line, "You can call me Kalvin...Cora Diamond McKall." How did he do that ? She wasn't expecting for him to recognize her. So, he didn't have forgotten me. She couldn't prevent the smile to appear on her face.

"Oh ! Uh...How are you ? " She asked politely.

"I'm doing good and you, beautiful ? " 

"I'm fine..." She answered trailing off. She didn't know how to approach the subject. Then a silence settled between the two.

"What's wrong ? Are you sure you're okay ? " He questioned concerned. Cora knew that it was better to do this sooner than later. She was scared, but she had to do this. She had his baby growing in her stomach. He needed to know what was going to happen in nine months.

"Uh...We need to talk."
