~Y/N's P.O.V~

I was walking with Garroth to school and we were just talking. "And it's weird cause he was reading a letter and he looked all gloomy and shit and he wouldn't tell me anything. He just left the room and locked himself in his room."

"Well maybe he saw the bills."

"Ugh, my cousin said the same thing and I know it's not that."

We had arrived by the fountain and we saw Aphmau there. "Hey Aph, you're here early."

"Yup!"

Garroth put an arm around me, "you guys wants to hear a story?"

"How random, sure."

"Ok so it was the baseball game there was this guy that goes to another guy and he goes, 'yeah takes time to know one,' and I was all like buuuurn!"

Garroth and Aph started laughing. "Wait, you just yelled that right in front of them?"

"Yeah, oh it was great! I wish Y/N went to the game with me though."

"Yeah i actually wanted to go, but obviously werewolf homework, and i was practicing my board skills."

"Board?" Garroth looked down at me.

"Skateboard, duh."

"Man, we got to school so fast. We usually walk but it doesn't feel this fast."

"Yeah, true."

"Awww, you guys are so cuuuuute!"

"Well, it's always great walking with my little demon."

"True."

I winked at Aph and laughed. "Hey Garroth, i need to get to class. There's a reason why Aph is here early and that's caused we need to help a teacher set up a project. I'll see you later pretty boy."

"See ya trouble maker."

I turned my head towards him and winked at him.

~Garroth's P.O.V~

"She's beautiful."

"Man, you really have the hots for her huh?"

"Huh? Gene.."

"Long time no see Garroth, how you been?"

"I've been great without you around, so let's keep it that way."

"I can tell, huh? Hey where you going?"

"Away from you."

"Fine, i guess you dont want to know the big secret that Aphmau's been keeping from you. Of course, you aren't one to...kiss and tell either are you?."

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb with me, i happen to know your little secret Garroth."

"You mean...when I kissed Aphmau?"

"Whaaaat?! You kissed Aphmau?!"

"Wh- N-no! That's not what I-"

"So I guess Laurence wasn't the only one."

"Gene, i didn't mean that I-... wait... what are you talking about?"

"Oh! You mean you didn't know about their little kiss? Oh wow well I'm sure Laurence wouldn't have told you about that either seeing that it happened during your date with Y/N."

"Tch, i don't believe for a second. Now you're just trying to get under my skin. Leave me alone."

"Fine, but the proof is in the picture. Here, take a look. Photo booth evidence."

He gave me the pictures and I saw that they kissed.

"I'll leave you with your thoughts."

He walked away while whistling. No, i don't care if Laurence kissed Aphmau. What gets me pissed is that he didn't tell me. I love Y/N, but why didn't he tell me he kissed her?

~Y/N's P.O.V~

I was in Aph's homeroom class sitting on top of a box that she was trying to push. I was using my phone until i noticed Zane was in this class. "Y/NNNNN, i need you to get off please, it's hard to move this!"

"Build some muscles! It'll go good with your feisty attitude."

"Ughhh." She looked over to Zane. "Hey Zane! Can you give me a hand here?"

"No."

Aph growled, "Zane! You're supposed to be helping me! Y/N too but she's just making things harder!"

"Well excuse me but I'm not even in your homeroom class! I'm not a freshman!"

"Tch, whatever."

Two werewolf guys came in. "We'll help you." Said the one with forest green hair. "Really?! Good luck with her, she won't get off the box."

I did a peace sign and continued going through my phone.

~time skip~

School ended and I started walking home. When i got home i threw my backpack next to the door and sat on my couch. I was watching Netflix until i heard the door open and i saw Ein. He sat next to me and sighed.

"What's up Ein? Terrible day at school?"

He groaned and threw his head back. "Yes! I'm getting tired of being the omega at school."

"Don't worry, we're almost done with school and before you know it, you'll be with me and meet all my friends and you'll be cool like me!" I smiled and him and he hugged me.

"I can't wait."

I heard the door open and saw B/N with a sad look on his face. "Hey B/N, what's with the sad look?"

He stood quiet and looked at me. He went up to me and Ein and kneeled down in front of us. He sighed, "guys, I'm sorry to tell you this but.... I got drafted to the army..."

I stood quiet and looked at him speechless. No...no No NO! "No B/N! I can't lose you like i lost mom and dad!" At this point I was trying to hold in my tears that were threatening to come out.

"I'm sorry, I also called Ein's parents and... he's going to live with them and you're going to live with aunt Rachel and Uncle Derek."

"Wa-wait, you're separating me and Ein too?!"

"I'm sorry, but Ein has to go with his parents, I'm sorry you guys."

"I lose either of you and you're going to the fucking army for what?!"

"Its not an option if i want to go or not Y/N! You have to understand that!"

"This is why I don't want to live anymore! Everyone is leaving me and i hate life! Just let me die!"

I ran up the stairs and locked myself in my room. I threw myself on my bed and just started to sob.

~next morning~

I was walking with Laurence to our class until we stopped by some werewolves talking. We hid behind the wall. "Still can't believe Aphmau and Aaron are dating..." said the brown hair werewolf.

"Its about time the Alpha male and female were dating! This will be the first time the Alphas are actually dating in forever! All we need is a male Beta!"

I looked over to Laurence, "What the?"

"Are you kidding? This is the first time the Alphas are human, too and not to mention the beta. I'm just glad their personalities are feisty!"

"He even grabbed her tail the other day! So cute!" The werewolf giggled.

"She let him grab her tail? That means...no!" I heard Laurence talking to himself.

"By the way... where did you get the confirmation they were dating?"

"I can just tell." She giggled again.

Laurence growled softly and left. I went after him. I hid and let Laurance go up to Garroth. Garroth was at his locker putting things away. Laurence went up to him, "Garroth, there you are! I need to talk to you about Aphmau."

<3rd POV>

"Yeah, you better start talking." Garroth said.

"I think she's seeing-"

"How could you kiss her and not tell me?! Especially after my first date with her!" Garroth interrupted Laurence.

"What the..? W-what are you talking about? Wait...first date? You mean you dated her?!" Laurance asked and looked around to see that Y/N wasn't around to hear this.

"Of course I did! But then, you had to come along and-"

"Wait, you dated her- behind my back?! Dude you knew how i felt about her! Not to mention, you told me you love Y/N! What the hell happened to that?!"

Y/N placed her hand on her mouth, holding back the tears.

"Wait, did she tell you about our kiss?" Garroth asked. "If you mean Y/N then yes, you and her both told me. But if you kissed Aphmau, how do you think she's going to react?!"

"Laurence, look- I'm sorry. I should have said something to you earlier....But, i had feelings for her. And I-"

"Garroth, this is wrong! You need to talk to Y/N about this,

I ran away, i couldn't hear what he was going to say anymore. He said he loved me, does he think he can play with my feelings like this? And then Aph.... she knew I had a crush on him and she just let herself kiss him! I heard Garroth call my name. I ran faster and kid in the bathroom. I locked myself in one of the stalls and I just stayed there crying.

~Laurence's P.O.V~

I was about to finish my sentence but i had completely forgot Y/N was here. She ran away from us.

"Y/N!" Garroth called out to her but she just ran faster. I had forgotten Y/N had a crush on Garroth, she must have been heartbroken after hearing what he just said. "I think we're both being played here."

"What have I done..."

"Garroth, Aphmau is seeing someone else... aside from us.."

"Who?"

"Aaron."

"The delinquent cousin of Y/N? You're kidding me! How do you know this?"

"I've heard students talking about it. And she didn't tell either of us about the either kiss... she didn't even tell Y/N. How can we trust that she's been telling us the truth?"

"Yeah... you're right. I need to go after Y/N.."

"Garroth, don't... from what I heard from my dad is that she's going through some stuff right now. Let's just give her time, knowing her she hates Aphmau right now. And i thought you liked Y/N?"

"I don't know why i said i had feelings for Aphmau... Y/N is my world and I just get nervous around her but i got upset that you didn't tell me anything. I need to tell her sorry."

"Look Garroth, she needs time. I'll talk to her for you and I'll see what's the problems she's having."

"Thanks Laurence."

~Y/N's P.O.V~

As i was running I threw my backpack in my locker and went to the restroom. As i was about to walk in Katelyn came out. "Hey Y/N! What's with the mad look?"

"I don't want to talk about it."

I pushed her aside and walked in. I was checking my face for any tear stains. I rinsed my face and walked inside the stall. I heard someone come in and I heard Ivy's voice.

"So, spill the beans Lily. How are things going with Aaron?"

"Boring!" Lily said.

"Yikes! Really?"

"Yeah, he's just bleh... weird. Not to mention he's awkward, he barely talks to me!"

"Sheesh! What a drag!"

"Tell me about It! I just wanna use him, break his heart and get it over with! Ugh, but he's just so hard to reach! At this rate, it's gonna take longer than we planned! Good thing he's kinda cute to look at..."

"Cute? Scar face? It's like saying you like looking at Y/N. They are cousins after all."

Why when I get out of this stall I'm going to beat the living hell out of both of them. "Oh shoot! Did she hear us?"

I heard Ivy yell to go after someone. I quickly flushed, washed my hands and went after them. I am not letting them hurt yet another person, i dont know who it is but I'm done with their shit!

I ran and I heard behind a plant and saw Gene and Ivy talking. "Gene.. that stupid potato heard about our plan!"

"What?" Gene said in a mad tone.

"She over heard us talking in the restroom and now she's probably off to tell Aaron!"

"You were talking about our plan out loud in public? How stupid can you..! Huh, wait a minute. This might actually be a good thing. No, a great thing!"

"Huh? What do you mean?"

Gene laughed, "let her tell him, i have a feeling this will work in our favor. Lily, keep up the nice girl act with Aaron. I have a feeling he'll need someone to talk to after this.."

I quickly snuck out of there and went to go find Aaron.

By the time I found Aaron, i saw Aphmau talking to him. "She wants to hurt you then leave you."

"Yeah, right!"

"Look... I'm trying to help your dumb face right now so just listen to me!"

Aaron sighed, "I'm disappointed in you.."

"Huh?"

"Lily is the first person to talk to my face like an actual person." Aaron started walking away. I hesitated but i called out for Aaron. He stopped and turned to face me. Aphmau did too.

"Aaron, if you can listen to her then listen to me. I was in the restroom when I heard Lily and Ivy talking. They're planning something and it involves you, please dont get attached to her. I'm only trying to-"

"To what Y/N? Are you just like that potato? Yeah i know you hate Ivy and Lily but you know what, she's my friend so you better stay out of my business. I don't care if you're my cousin, why dont you go join your dad in hell where you belong."

I felt my eyes get watery. He noticed and walked away. Aphmau walked up to me, "thank you for trying Y/N. I-"

"No, don't ever talk to me again Aphmau. Just never look at me or even come near me or else."

I walked away, tears falling down my cheeks.

I went to my locker and saw Laurence come up to me. I had my head inside my locker not wanting anybody to see my face. Laurence tapped my shoulder, "Y/N? Please tell me what's going on with you, please."

I sniffed and turned to face Laurence, his face showed that he was worried. I hugged him and I cried on his chest. "Its okay Y/N, I'm sorry you had to hear what Garroth said. But he didn't mean it, he loves you Y/N. I can tell he does."

He was petting my hair with his hand softly. It always made me feel relaxed, it always made me feel better like if someone is actually there for me. I let go of him. "Laurence, i need your help today after school to pack up my stuff."

He got even more worried but it was a surprised worried look. "You're moving?! Since when and where and why and-"

"Laurence, I'm moving to Aaron's house... I'm still coming to this school and I'm not going anywhere. I'll tell you everything some other time. Okay?"

He nodded, we hugged again. Laurence is my best friend and I know he'll always be there for me. We let go of each other and he saw a Meif'wa and started flirting with her. "Heh. You're really cute you know?"

"Ah thank you!" The Meif'wa was blushing and giggling.

"Laurence?"

Me and him turn our heads to the voice and we see Aphmau standing there. "Ah, hi cute lady! Michi has to go to class but maybe she'll see Laurence around?"

"Absolutely beautiful."

The Meif'wa said bye and walked away. Aphmau walked closer to Laurence. "Laurence, what was all that about?"

"What do you mean? I was just talking to that cute girl."

"Huh? But...but I thought you liked me..."

"I did." Laurence signaled me to follow him and we started walking away. "Laurence wait! Where are you- where are you going? Don't you want to have lunch with me?"

"No, I'm going to class with Y/N. Later!"

~Garroth's P.O.V~

I was outside in my gym clothes and I was zoned out. I couldn't stop thinking about how i made Y/N feel, i just played with her emotions and I didn't realize she was there. I need to think of a way to make it up to her. I was just in my thoughts until someone walk up to me. "Huh! Garroth! Phew, there you are! I think Laurence and Y/N might be going through something. He....huh?"

I had my back facing her, i couldnt look at her. Not after what i did to Y/N. "Uh, Garroth? Hey! Garroth! Would you look at me?"

"Aphmau, I've heard some things, i believe Laurence and Y/N has too."

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"I shouldn't have kissed you... if i wasn't your type... you could of just said so... I broke Y/N's heart and now not only does she hate me...but hates you."

Dante threw himself on me, "hey Garroth! C'mon we gotta practice!"

"See you later Aphmau."

~Y/N's P.O.V~

School ended and Laurence was walking me home. I had called Ein to pack some stuff for me. I grabbed Laurence's wrist and dragged him to the park. We sat in the same spot since we were little. Under the same tree that has been here for 16 years. We sat down on the ground and we just stood quiet. "Y/N, please tell me what's going on with you. You've been completely different since the beginning of the school year."

I stood quiet for a bit, it's hard to say these things. Especially when you kept it to yourself for almost an entire year. "My dad...he was taken to the hospital and he.... he passed away, right in front of my eyes. Since he died I had to sell my old house and move in with my brother. It was good to see my brother. I love him so much, but recently he got a letter.... he's getting drafted into the army. And because of that, i need to pack my things and move somewhere else... with Aaron."

My eyes were watery. I couldn't hold the tears any longer. I brought up my knees and put my head on my knees and started crying. Laurence put his arm around me and started petting my hair. He was quietly doing "shh" while hugging me with his right arm.

He started humming a tune, i lifted my head to look at him. He looked down on me and smiled. He started singing to me, i put my head on his shoulder and just heard him sing.

He stopped singing. I hugged him and cried on his chest. "Everyone is leaving me Laurence.... Garroth left me. Please don't be the next person... please, you're like my brother."

"I won't ever leave you Y/N, but Garroth has to know too."

"No, i can't. He kissed my friend and I trusted them both. Aphmau knew I liked him but she did it anyways and Garroth lied to me saying th-"

"Y/N! Listen, Aphmau played both of me and Garroth. She's seeing Aaron. Garroth regrets that he even kissed her, please just give him a chance."

"Thats hard to do Laurence, i even heard him say he likes Aphmau."

"No, he likes you. No, he loves you he was just mad that i didn't tell him anything. I understand why you're mad but you need to understand he didn't mean any of that."

I stayed quiet, "Laurence, I'm sorry but i won't believe you. Not this time."
