Samsung vs Apple

THE BATTLE TO END ALL BATTLES IS HERE

SAMSUNG
OR
APPLE

yes, I'm aware that this is not a topic to be taken lightly.

Since the beginning of time, the debate has been between Samsung and Apple. Which is better? Which would you rather own? Which looks nicer? Which is better quality? And so on until you want to rip your face off.

Before I start, I want to make you all aware that if you're the kind of person who wants to start a full-blown argument about this, you can leave. By all means, comment your thoughts, but don't get annoyed about anything I'm saying, okay? Good.

let's get this party started 🎉🎉

I'm only talking about phones here, by the way. I cant exactly start comparing Samsung fridges to iPods.

APPLE
Pros -
--Apple products fit together really well - you can link an iPhone, iPod and iPad all up to your MacBook and it's pretty easy to use
--They look quite satisfying I guess
--Pretty cases everywhere because the world is biased towards Apple and make everything for iPhones
--Some fancy touch thing that seems to make no difference but is a good statistic to boost the price by a few hundred quid

Cons-
--REALLY EXPENSIVE. Like I'm sorry but they charge way too much and not everyone can pay £700 for a phone.
--They're not that nice to hold because they've got all pointy sides and corners
--They've had some questioning about the conditions where some of their components are manufactured (sweatshops, factories with child labour etc) which is a pretty big ethical issue
--It's probably just me but I get annoyed at how Apple know they can add like one new feature and charge £200 more - it's like they're saying 'hahahahaha look at us we're so rich people will buy anything from us we don't need good marketing'
--No cheaper ranges - if you want an iPhone, you spend £700 or none at all

SAMSUNG
Pros-
--They have the more expensive S range, sure, but they also have the A and J ranges which are way more affordable
--They're so nice to hold
--Space for a memory card to give you EVEN MORE STORAGE
--Really good battery life
--Links with your Google account (and most people have a gmail let's face it)

Cons-
--They fit pretty well with other computers and stuff but it's not as automatic as Apple
--The world is biased against the A and Js and there are never accessories for them (but the S range is okay)

Should we conclude?

I think we should conclude.

IN CONCLUSION if you have a lot of money and no ethical issues with Apple, an iPhone is probably the way to go. However, for those of us without a few thousand pounds to spare (because let's not forget, if you have an iPhone, you'll need a computer to support it, and not all Windows computers can do that), a Samsung is best, purely because it's nicer to have a few hundred left in the bank after buying your phone, and let's face it, Samsung are excellent phone manufacturers.

Who's happy with that conclusion?

(I am)

I have a Samsung J5 - cost me £150 and is a better phone than the iPhone 5s, for example - and I'm perfectly happy with it and the spare £250 I have in the bank.

:)
