Roach's POV

Its Saturday and today Shope is going out with Amy and her friends. We are all at Tyler's basement relaxing and by all I mean us four

"So where are you guys gonna hang out?" I ask

"I don't know" she replied

"Are you gonna meet up somewhere or they gonna pick you up here"

"We are going to meet up at the fountain in the park"

"When?"

"At 12 o'clock"

The conversation wasn't really that exciting but I'm used to it. I don't think it's because we aren't close, in fact we are all like siblings, or at least I consider them as family

"Well it's still early, so wanna play some video games?" Tyler asks

"Nah I think I'll pass" she says lazily

"You don't seem excited" I stated

"Why would I be"

"Because you're gonna hang out with that cool kids and Amy~~!" Tyler said

"Oh come on! we're much cooler than them. We are superheroes, nobody can top that!" Kevin said proudly

"Yeah guys, their kids, just like us" I said

"Yeah but at school they aren't just kids, they are the cool kids" Tyler said

"And we aren't just losers, we are superdudes! We are the coolest kids around! We don't need them" Kevin replied

"Why don't we just ask Shope how does she feel" I spoke

There was a brief moment of silence and we all looked at her for an answer

"*sigh* I'm don't feel anything guys. I just don't want to mess this up, that's all" she says

"Awww!! No pressure Shope!" I try to encourage her

"I'm sure that they'll love having you" Tyler said in a attempt to cheer her up

"Yeah and if they don't, it's their loss and I'm gonna beat them up with some help of mem and zen" Kevin cracked his knuckles

When she heard our statements her lips crawled in to a smile (not in a creepy way) and said

"You guys are the best! Now let's play some video games!"

"YEAH!" We agreed in unison

We played for a bit till Shope's phone rang. She went to check on it and it was an alarm

"An alarm? At this time?" I ask

"It must be time for me to go, see yah guys later"

"Bye!" We replied

A moment of silence took over and it was a tiny bit awkward

"Sooooo....... what do we do now?" Tyler asks breaking the silence

"The same thing we do everyday, play video games all day while eating junk foods" Kevin replied

"That sounds like a good idea, I'm in!" I agreed

"I have nothing better to do so, why not"

Shope's POV

I just left Tyler's house and I'm currently walking to the park that we were supposed to meet up. After walking a few blocks the park was approaching, I finally entered and in a few moments later I saw Amy talking to two girls, which I assume are her friends but soon enough Amy noticed me and immediately waved followed by her friends. I make my way to them and waved back

"Hi Jennifer! Thanks for coming!" Amy exclaimed

"Hey, I should thank you for inviting me, but you can call me Shope"

"Oh sorry" She apologize

"No worries" I assure her

"Well let's get to know each other! These are May and Kim" she says pointing first to the girl with black hair in a high ponytail who was wearing a blue and yellow jacket and a blue skirt and next pointing to a brunette with a messy bun wearing a similar outfit just in a different color which was red and yellow

( I picked random names, I couldn't keep calling them friends, sorry if you don't like them and if the way I described them wasn't clear but anyways I got the idea from the girl Amy always hangs out with. So...credits to the owner)

"Nice to officially meet you" I said extending my arm and trying to make a genuine smile...

Ok ok ok let me explain, well it's not that I'm not happy to be with them, it's just...uh, *sigh* I feel like all of this is weird. But I can try

"Yeah nice to meet you too"

"So Amy, where are we going?" I ask

"Let's go to the mall!" Suggested May suggested

"Yeah!" Kim backed her up

"Is the mall ok?" Amy turned to me

"Oh, its fine" I said, not really meaning it. I'm not the type which likes shopping. All I like to shop is food and video games.

'I guess their behavior rubbed on me'

"Great! So let's get going!" Amy said excited

We walked all the way to the mall and stopped right in front a boutique which sold

"So how about here?" Amy asked

"Uhh, maybe there" I say pointing to a smoothie shop

"Yeah! I love smoothies! Amy let's go there!" May said while literally jumping around

"Ok ok, lets go then" she replied as she giggled at her friends reaction

After we got our smoothies we took a sit and we started a conversation and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, no offense
We kept talking about general stuff like favorite color, food, music, movies and stuff and sometimes joke around but then it became a bit personal

"So, Shope how is hanging out with them?" Asked May but not in a sassy or bad way, she was just curious...I think

"You mean Tyler, Kevin, and Roach?"

"Yeah"

"Well they're a bit annoying but I got used to it. Well if you'd knew them as long as I did you'd probably get used to it too, or just run as far as you can" I joked

They giggled at the joke and asked more questions

"Do you like one of them? I mean you guys are so close that if were just you and one of them, it would seem like-" I cut off Kim by coughing/choking on my smoothie

"Are you ok?" Amy asked in concern

"Yeah I'm fine, thank you" I assured

"Oh it's ok if you don't want to answer the question" Kim said

"Its fine, but no. I don't see them that way, they are like brothers to me"

"Maybe it's time to go" May said standing up

"Yeah I agree" Amy followed her. So we stand up as well.

We walked for a bit and they offered to walk me home but I refused, so we said our goodbyes and I walked home

"Bye Shope, today was great" said Amy

"Yeah, we should do this again" May said

"Yeah till next time, bye"

"Bye" they waved

As I walked home I realized that it was already 3 o'clock

"We spent three hours talking"

'The guys should still be in Tyler's basement and I don't want to go home yet. so I'll stop by'

I came in and came crashing on the couch, and as expected they were still there. They immediately turned to me and greeted

"Hi, Shope how was your day?" Asked Tyler

"Not a total bust as I thought it would have be" I answered

"Did you have fun?" Roach asked

"Not as much as hanging here" I smiled

"Awww, i know you'd miss me" said Kevin with a wide smug smile plastered on his face

"You wish!" I say throwing a pillow right in his annoying face

"Stop flirting you guys" Tyler chuckled

'He will wish he never said that'

"GROSS!!!" me and Kevin yelled and threw a pillow at the same time

"Ow, it was a joke" he said rubbing his face

"Never tell that joke ever again" i threatened

"U-understood" he replied

"Good, now let me rest"
