• The Two-Floored Barn •

Our barn is very large and can accommodate up to forty horses.

There are forty stables, plus a tack room, feed room and water supply on each floor.

The top floor has some sort of lift contraption to get the horses down onto the ground floor and is safe to use for all horses.

The top floor of the barn is where our studs and brood mares are stables. We keep them up there as they aren't ridden as much, meaning they don't need to leave the barn as much.

But of course, each horse gets ridden or exercised every day, no matter what floor they are on.

The bottom floor accommodates the riding horses for easy access into and out of the stables.

The barn is large enough to provide us with everything we need.

Each stable is large enough to contain two horses, but we stick to one unless for breeding purposes.

We have an extra attachment like a large shed connecting to the side of the barn which is where the wash bays are at.

Horses are washed regularly and it has six separate areas, one per horse.

The showers are automatic, meaning the horses can just be tied up and the water comes on. But you have to wash them with a sponge by yourself after you press the soap button.

The soap button squirts soap down at all places on the horse and you just use your sponge to wash them until you send the water out again.

Then, you take a sweat scraper and dry off your horse. Horses are usually sparkling by the time they've finished their baths.
