Issues that nobody is probably bothered about but this actually might be worth a read because I'm in need of desperate help on future decisions about scalex

I have loved writing for Scott and Alex so much and I hope you've enjoyed reading 😊

Secondly,

So as you all know, Teen Wolf has been renewed for a season 6.

Now that has kinda screwed up my whole plans for a sequel and possibly a third book but I think I've figured out some solutions.

I'm pretty sure that (but please correct me if I'm wrong) the gap between the end of 3B and the beginning of 4 is only a month or two(?)

If that's the case, then I have a few options.

•I can start the storyline of season 4 in this book, which will take me up to around 40 chapters in total.

•I can start a new book based on season 4 completely that will probably be really short (tbh I'm kinda reluctant to do that 1) because it will be short and 2) I had this plan for three books and a prequel and if I do an extra one it will be four books and that will freak me out because I like three's (dw I'm not the darach)

•I can skip the season 4 storyline completely and go straight on to season 5

•Or I can just entirely forget that Season 6 is going to exist and not write a S6 book for scalex.

So I wanna let you guys decide on what I should do - because I'm incredibly indecisive.

If I'm honest, in my opinion, I think I'm leaning more towards the ideas of either starting the s4 storyline in this book or just forgetting s4 completely and jumping to s5.

But I'd love it if you guys could comment what you want me to do so I can get a good idea.

Or if you even want me to carry on with Scott and Alex's story?

Next issue,

I'm on summer holidays (finally) now which does mean that I have a lot of spare time.

However, I'm actually planning to be productive this summer holiday (lols that probably won't work out but)

So I already have Battle Scars to write, which is actually proving to be more challenging than I thought.

And Nefarious is also becoming increasingly more difficult to write as I've promised updates every day or every other day.

So in order to focus mainly on them, I'm putting Scalex on hold for a while.

Think of it like a teen wolf hiatus (just not as long because I'm not that mean)

I'm not entirely sure how long I'm going to take a break for but it's going to be for at least a month.

Of course, if you guys want me to carry on with my plans then I'll still be writing for Scott and Alex over the holidays. I think what I need to do is write lots of unedited chapters and then once I'm back from taking a break, I'll edit them thoroughly enough to be posted.

I just want my best writing for you guys and I feel like the last few chapters have been lacking in my skills as I've been rushing them to try and update.

It takes a while to plan out a character and their feelings too and I've been really struggling from going between writing different personalities for all my characters and it sometimes becomes really difficult to find that balance.

So I think I really need to figure out what's going on before I continue.

I'm sorry for rambling (I'm awful at this)

I just wanted you to understand my plans and I sincerely hope you do because I need all of your opinions on what I should do next regarding my s4,5 & 6 predicament.

I also really hope you understand where I'm coming from. I don't want anyone to be mad I'm taking a break from writing for Scott and Alex. You'll appreciate it much more if I figure everything out instead of diving head first into it.

I hope you'd like me to carry on writing for Alex as I do love her character and storyline.
