Presently (FN) just got teleported to the manor to get washed up and settled in. Koneko soon followed. This mean the two of them finally have time to have a one on one? I plead the 5th. Find out for yourself.

You get teleported back in the living room of the manor and just look around. It's quiet. Something that you won't see often. You heard the echo of your footsteps as you walked into your room. Grabbing a chair and just starring at the mirror. You let your ears pop out of the hair that's already up.

"My blessing and curse as she said." He shook his head and looked in the mirror. "Oh Mom. Wish you were still here. You were the only one that loved me. But hey. I'll have my own pack one day. If I'm lucky that is." A quick look in the mirror you can tell that the ears were no longer showing. Just perfect. No mistakes there. Welp time to get in the bath. All of them will be home in 30 after all. Pretty sure they will want the bath too.

Presently what you didn't know is the shower was being taken...

A knock comes on the door. "Anyone in there?" She checked to make sure that no was in. Then slowly closed the door and slowly started to take off her clothes and out them aside neatly. Once bare she turned on the water. A little on the hot side. Just a quick one. She thought. Although it's interesting sharing this place with another boy. Gaspy would never make a move on me and Kiba is the definition of gentleman. Him I've known him maybe a day. All I know is he's the other Rook. Oh joy. He's got family issues too. Rias seems quite sorry and said his injuries were deadly and brutal. Sad.

The water hits the white haired girl. She starts lathering her hair as steam fills the room. Just thinking on how her day went and how she was going to have to study after dinner. But she had something else to worry about.

Guess I'll hop in. You stretch and open the door. OH SHIT!

"Huh?" Koneko turned around and out one arm around her breasts and the other around her lower area. Turning to her side she blushed. "What are you doing here?"

You close your eyes and turn your head. Left hand out in front so you don't bump into anything. "I'm sorry. Rias told me it was empty."

"You're a pervert! And a dog!" She charged forward.

"Uh-oh." You got blasted. Completely and utterly blasted. You shot back and your neck whipped. Jaw ricochet off the guardrail as you hit the floor. Back leaning against the railing. "Ahhh... ouch."

"You make me sick. Hmph." She slammed the door.

Great. Nice to meet you. Now I'm a dick. You get up in pain and run to the half bathroom. Running down the stairs and comforting your chin. You get to the sink and just spit. More like a pour. All blood and saliva. Ick. A mirror check you have a purple bruise on your face and a small cut on the chin. Must have been from the rail.

A few minutes the cut stops dripping as you grab a washcloth to not get anything ruined. You walk out of the bathroom as Akeno saw the injuries.

"Honey you're hurt." She gasped. "You okay? What happened?"

"Honest mistake. The bath. Yeah."

"It's free now. Koneko just stepped out."

"Cool. This bruise can get washed. Ugh."

Akeno felt sorrow as you passed by her going down the hall. Worried about what was going on. She would think you and Koneko would hit friendship quickly. But that set things back.

You were sitting in your room getting dressed. Just had to put a shirt on as Issei was getting you for dinner. He knocked on the door.

"Hey (FN) can I come in?"

"Whatever. Go for it."

"You alright?" He opened the door. "Whoaaaa what the hell happened to you?"

"Got hammered. Does it look that bad?"

Issei cringed. "Man it looks like Koneko knocked your lights out."

"Funny. You saw?"

It clicked finally. "She..."

"Yeah. Bite me."

"Easy. Let me take you to Asia. Your chin and face look pretty bad."

"Meh. Don't remind me." You close your door to your room as you follow Issei down the stairs and into the big kitchen.

Walking into your seat Rias looks at you and drops her fork. "What on Earth happened to your face? Asia can he have some assistance please?"

"Take your time." Koneko huffed. She was looking in the other direction eating her plate. She took a bite. "He's a pervert Asia. Do what you want."

Asia walked over to your side and saw the bruising. "She hit you good."

"Railing."

"So I did see blood in the sink." Sighed Xenovia.

"Koneko what happened?" Asked Rias.

"He walked in on me taking a shower. Didn't even knock. Oh well." Straight voice on all. Just sass.

"Rias told me I that I would be the only one here. I apologize." You close an eye as you see the twilight healing.

"Well I..." Koneko was embarrassed now. More than fact that she showered first then you seeing her naked.

"All good. No need." You smile.

Everyone just kind of looked at you. Shocked at that response that came out of your mouth. "You..."

"Koneko let's just squash this and move onward."

"I can let this one go."

"Sweet."

He's forgiving her after a hit like that. Wow. Thought Rias. "So ready for you're training tomorrow (FN)?"

"Guess so. Are we taking a jog or something?"

"I'm working you Honey."

"Ohhh..." Ah boy.

A buzzer goes off. You jump and wiggle to the floor. No light shining through the curtain or anything. It was an awkward thud as you look at the alarm clock.

"4 AM? Ugh. What the hell?"

"Mind and body. Glad I didn't have to force your rear out of bed." It was Xenovia waking you up for your training with Rias.

"So you're helping me with training?" You asked calming down the nerves.

"Correct. It seems mentally you are able to forgive and focus. But now you shall focus on strength. A Devil relies on strength. It's not the most important but it's a must. Especially being your piece."

"Rook. Strength. Okay let's go."

(If you're wondering why I put Nova here, I have two reasons. One she gets snubbed in the series. Especially the new trailer. And two her endurance level. Take that however you want. Giggitty.)

You do as she says. Before she threatened to do something else. She was kind enough to leave the room as you got dressed in some workout attire and walked out. Impressed you didn't go back to bed Xenovia leads you downstairs to the gym. Rias is patiently waiting.

"Good morning. Thanks for not bowing out." She greeted.

"Try not to." You let out a yawn. "This might require some hardworking to stay awake. So Rias am I lifting or what?"

"I'm going to help you stretch first."

"How?" You blushed.

You swing your arms and hips making you get loose. Just so stiff after bed. An assist with touching your toes making your back crack. The stretching burned just to start off with. Now it was the task at hand that was going to get to you.

"Alright (FN). Nice work. Though now I have a task that will push you. I don't expect you to complete this but see how far you can go."

"Name it."

"Treadmill. I need you to run. Actually run."

"Got it."

"Every quarter mile mile I need to get off and head to the punching bag. 50 punches. Half from the left and half from the right. Then do that that until you hit a full mile."

"Shit... well guess I have no choice."

"Smart boy. Push yourself but don't hurt yourself. Hope you know the difference."

"Between calling it quits and working myself dead?"

"Very good. How am I going to have you do a pact if I you just run out of gas first thing in the morning?"

"Much aware I have a day ahead of me." You hop and the treadmill and slowly work to a running state. Heart beating and controlling your breathing as hard as possible, you get to the first quarter mile. Time to the first fifty. A left then a right. The bag was heavy. Good thing you were a Rook. One problem. Every punch slightly lowered your endurance. Fifty was a stretch. Can't do this whole thing but I have to try.

Xenovia observed you as you hopped on the treadmill for a second time. The first round was tough. "Rias you expect him to get close?"

"Not at all. Koneko can't move past stage three. She's worked at it though." Rias shook her head but with a smile.

Now back to the bag. You thrive and deliver the haymakers. 48. A right punch. Two more. 49. A left jab. 50. Now back to running. You finish with a right handed punch but you don't have that much left to go. It was obvious the limit was close. But back on the treadmill you go. Trying for another quarter mile.

"Rias? You think?" She seemed to know where this was going to go."

"I'll pull the plug in a moment." Nodded Rias.

You close your eyes and just run. The cramping burn starts to kick. It's flaring. You try to stop but that would be dangerous. And you just got back on it. Can't quit. Can't quit. I gotta at least do three. Come on. Nope. You try your hardest but you trip. Shit! You fall hands first so it didn't catch your face. Then get thrown off the treadmill like a baseball.

Xenovia shuts off the treadmill and looks at the numbers. "0.62 at fifteen miles an hour. Rias he's mad."

"You said push it right?" You catch your breath.

"Little overboard. Don't you think?"

"Not on my ship."

"What do you want to prove?"

"That I'm cut out for this. I have to prove myself worthy. I can't go back to the forest that's what."

The forest? Not this. "Stand up for me."

"Okay Master. What's this about?". She wrapped you in a hug. Very tightly. "Lady Rias? What's this about?"

"Slow down." She whispered.

"What do you mean?"

"I care about your well being. It's not all strength or anything else. I want you to be stronger to get to your goals. Being a Devil has more purpose than you realize. I hope you know that."

"Not sure I go all of it yet."

"You will never go back to the forest. I promise you. I think you will be able to get the better end of the battle between you and the pack, have a nice girlfriend when you are ready, and live happily. It's not a long time from now either."

"You think I'm growing that much?"

"I didn't expect you to get through half (FN)."

"Challenge accepted.... I guess."

"Hit the shower. Breakfast and classes are soon. Hurry up."

"Yes Master." It's the least I can do. Let's move forward on today. No more screw ups. It's just me, my pride, and my strength.

Coming home to shower only to get a massive punch to the face didn't seem ideal. But she's very sorry she committed the act as you slowly are getting stronger. Is anything else awaiting for you? How will today go since you got up extra early. Tired before school even started. Bad mix. Ouch.
