I rubbed my arms, now covered in blood and bandages, I sighed with relief as the two finally left. Leaving me in my pain. This isn't the worse pain I've felt though. No, the worst pain I felt was in the Old World. Rythian had just met Zoeya. I loved him a lot, he was my best friend and crush. But the second he saw Zoeya, I could tell he was in love...

"You never hang out with me anymore...It's always Zoey this and Zoey that." Duncan snarled. Rythian looked at him, surprised. "You interduced me to her, this is your fault. I can call off our date if you wanna hang out Lalna..." He shook his head.

"No...I want you to be happy. I do.But, maybe tomarrow we could hang out?" Rythian smiled,nodding. "Of course. Anything for my best friend."

Friend...

"y-yeah...best friends."

The next day would be full of war and death filling the air with fire.

I was an idiot. I know I was. I was young and foolish, I guess that's why in Tekkit I felt so hurt when Rythian told meit was my fault that the Old World had died. And that he had his scars. Of course I feel regret. I miss him. I wish we could at least be friends. And I think we are. I think. I'm not to sure still. What if Nano wanted me gone as well? What if after this whole thing she left in searcg of a new teacher? I would be alone. Again. I couldn't bear the thought.

That's when I heard fighting.

"Rythian~"I turned around, just dodging Nano's blade. She had betrayed me the second we stepped foot in here. Three against one isn't exactly fair you know. I growled and flew up into the air, grabbing hold of a brand and climbing up, I quickly scanned the area, spotting a dark castle like figure I had spotted before. If Duncan would be anywhere it would be there. I jumped from tree to tree, I guess they still thought I was in the same tree, I jumped down by the beach. Just out of their sight and started to run down the tube under the water. Then I noticed the carts. I smirked.

I was railing down and up with great speed, I must say Sjin outdoes himself with structures everytime I see him. I spot a cage In the top just as the cart slows down. I jump off and start walking up, examing the place. Completley made of blackrock. I walked up and saw a magic barrier. Inside was Duncan.

"Duncan!" he turned his headaround, eyes widening and grinning. I noticed his scarred arms and started banging on the magical barrier.

"It's not gonna break Rythian." He said, getting up and walking over to me. "the only way for it to break is if those magic police guys break through it. But even then it would be impossible for me to get out." I sighed, nodding.

Suddenly I heard shouts and turned around, "There coming!", "No duh Duncan!" I shouted. Nano appeared first, sword in hand, in her other. A poppet. Duncan's poppet. I turned around for a second to see he was stuck in place almost. 

"Give up and he gets out safely." Sjin said. I growled, glaring. "R-Rythian...d-don't." I looked at Duncan. 

"y-yeah...best friends."

"I'll have my revenge Duncan!!!"

"Please forgive me Rythian..."

"Please Rythian..."

I put my hands up in surrender.
