Vennela was checking everything once more. The crossed checklist, the bags they have packed, babies' essentials, her important essentials, medicines etc. While Jai was making sure his laptop bag, charger, the important files and pendrives were packed inside the bag.

He wore a formal sky blue shirt and beige pants, dabbed some of Vennela's favourite cologne for him. His hair was neatly combed and smoothened with little bit of gel to keep it in place. His Rado watch glistened in the morning sunshine filtering through the white curtains.

He occasionally looked at their babies laying like soft plushies on the bed.

"Nana's munchkins...😍" Jai called them softly.

"Oooo..😯" babies squealed in a happy tone kicking their legs in air and sat up, their paunch peeking from the tops that slid up.

"Haha..." Jai gave loud kisses on their cheeks finding them irresistible.

Meanwhile they already found their hands on nana's file.

"Ayyo..kannas...it's not something to eat darling. It's important for nana ok ? Didn't amma give you milk?😂"

"Huh...bava..what else do you think watching their tummy? They have literally drained me today morning. Drank so much today" Vennela walked in wearing a jeans and short kurti, her hair in a neat ponytail, face with a minimal makeup, just a lip balm, bindi, sindoor and she was done. Apart from her thaali, she wore nothing, a luxury Rado watch adorned her left hand, which was obviously gifted by Jai.

Ethereal as always.

"Oh really ? So you took nana's share too?😦"

Vennela's cheeks reddened up instantly, she hit him gently with her palm.

"Bava !! Can you not talk these infront of our babies ?"

"They won't understand it, bangaruu..." he whispered audible to her.

"They will. They will catch things easily. You won't know"

"Chill, baby. You keep worrying a lot😜"

Vennela ignored him and kept checking if everything was done, that she hadn't forgotten anything else.

"Bava, your shaving kit...I've packed it in case you needed there"

"I told you innumerable times no, that I've shaved and it's not necessary to carry"

"But just in case...."

Jai chuckled shaking his head.

"Alright"

"Ok..I hope everything is done, bava. Let's go then"

"Phew ! I guess we would miss flight with your detective searching" 🙂‍↔️😂

"Haha ! Very funny" She switched the lights off and took ammu in her arms while Jai carried Rishu.

Ammu started jumping in Vennela's arms wanting to go to her father.

"This little troublesome ...now sit with amma🙂‍↔️" She took her handbag and pushed a trolley with her free hand. Switched off fan and all lights.

"Bangaruu, you gave all the vegetables and stuff remaining to Radha right ?"

"Yes bava. She told that she will come today to send us off. I asked her not to come"

"Hmm... "The cab had already arrived outside. Jai handed over Rishu to his wife while he helped with the luggages with Raju anna, their neighbour and helper.

Suddenly Radha came running out of nowhere, panting and yelling.

"Wait wait wait...."

"Ayyo this girl..🙂‍↔️" Vennela murmured.

Babies started jumping and squealing watching her.

"Why did you come, Radha ? I asked you not to-"

"I wanted to see babies, akka. I'll miss them both. You'll be back after two weeks only no. I'm going to miss you all😕"

Vennela's heart melted hearing it.

"We will miss you too Radha. Babies, we will bring chocolates for Radha aunty ok ?"

Babies forwarded their tiny arms for her to carry them.

"Acho...my tiny babies....we have no time now. I'll carry you both lots when you are back. Until then, miss me🥺❤️" She kissed their tiny hands and heads.

"If you keep saying this, my wife and kids will abandon me and stay with you, Radha😂"
Jai joked to ease the situation.

"They love me more, anna" She hugged them all.

"Ohh..now I'm out huh. Ok..I guess we have to make it soon to the airport. We will call you once we reach. Alright ? Be a good girl and don't trouble your amma and husband"

Radha sticked out her tongue at him.

"They are nothing less than Tom and Jerry, Ramu anna😂🙂‍↔️"
Vennela shook her head fondly.

Ramu anna just laughed and blessed them for a safe journey.

"Anna...the plants..." Vennela reminded him to water her plants in her absence.

"I know amma. You don't worry about it☺️"
She smiled at him.

They all got in the cab.

"Babies say bye to Radha aunty and Ramu thatha"
Vennela made them wave outside.

Radha got emotional all of a sudden and waved back, her eyes welled up. Vennela had her eyes watered too. Radha and Vennela were like sisters itself.

"Bye.. don't be sad🥺" She held Radha's hands briefly and before the car started.

The airport was unusually busy. But for Jai, the world centered around just three people - his wife and twin babies. He made sure they were comfortable.

"I'm so excited bava! It's babies' first trip and that too an international one🤩"

"Yes☺️" He fondly caressed their heads.

Babies were sitting calmly looking around the lights of airport, the people walking, shops and everything.

"I hope they will be comfortable throughout the journey"

"Me too bava. But it's for 3 or 4 hours. We can manage"

"Yes" He held her palm and gave a gentle squeeze.

As they entered the airplane, Vennela carefully walked ahead with ammu resting on her shoulder, Jai followed behind with the baby boy smiling looking around, calm in his arms. The flight attendants were already charmed by rishu, his toothless grin and innocence.

After adjusting the luggage in the top birth, he sat down beside his wife.

"Ammu..rishu.. we are going to Singapore. Are you both excited ?😍😘😘" Vennela asked in a baby tone.

Babies grinned in response to their excited mother.

"Of course they are excited. With mamma around, even dadda is excited and looking forward to this journey😄"

"Uhh... don't change the track, bava" Her cheeks blushed a little.

"Hey.. I was telling about our journey together as a family. What else got into your head, bangaruu ?😏"

"Uhmmm...nothing" she shook her head.

"Sure ?😉"

"Sure, husband" She pinched his arm.

"Ouch ! I won't be surprised if you think this as our second honeymoon. You know...make things colorful"

"Ayyo...ssshh...bava ...someone might hear😳🙈" She looked around scanning the surroundings.

"Which implies that you're agreeing to me ?😆"

"I didn't agree to anything. Keep quiet"

She looked through the window outside.

Jai chuckled. The announcement came telling the instructions and to wear seat belt too.

"Bava..." she looked at his face in worry.

"Nothing will happen ok. Hold my hand like this" He intertwined their fingers together.

"You know this isn't your first flight"

"Yeah but...everytime this plane takes off, I feel nervous and my heart drops to stomach"

"Hey... darling. I'm here"

He wrapped his arms around her shoulder.

The flight took off. Vennela gasped and closed her palm tight around his while holding baby with the other hand.

"Relax...it's over..." he said sweetly.

Babies relaxed on their parents chest.

"Aww see them bangaruu...they are so calm. Laying on us like little koalas😘😘"

"Yes" She looked at them fondly and caressed their heads.

Just then a flight attendant appeared infront of them.

"Good afternoon...sir..😄" her eyes lingered just a second longer on Jai.

"Good afternoon" He replied politely with a smile unknown to it.

Vennela noticed. Of course she noticed.

"Sir, can I help you with anything ?" She asked softly.

Jai looked up giving a polite, but a slightly playful smile.

Hmmm...this seems interesting. He gazed at his wife through his side eyes.

Why not make things colorful? He thought briefly.

"I think we're good...unless you can help me manage our two little babies"

"Of course i can. Anything for you... "

"Oh really ? I'll inform you later😉" He gave a small wink, which made her cheeks blush instantly.

She nodded and left.

Vennela drew a sharp breath and slowly turned to Jai.

"Bava...." she called him sweetly.

Jai knew that tone. Danger.

"Yes..bangaruu..😁" he turned to her giving his ever charming innocent smile.

"What happened just before ? Do you think I'll give my babies to her for looking after ? Abbo your wink..!!🙄" She rolled her eyes.

"What did I do, bangaruu?" He blinked.

"Too much smiling...too much talking"

Jai suppressed a smile.

"Jealous, aren't we ?"

"Tch..Assalu kaadu...😑" (absolutely not) She scoffed looked the other side.

"Hmm...I understood😆" He chuckled caressing Rishu's back.

Ammu jumped on Vennela's lap, while Rishu was restless to go near his mom too.

"Bava...I think they are hungry. I've two bottles in the bag. They don't like bottles usually...but .. let's see ...otherwise I'll feed them. Can you take it from my bag?"

Jai nodded and took bottles from the bag.
He opened the cap, gave her one and he fed the other one to rishu who latched on eagerly and starting having.

Ammu too had after a little wiggling.

"Phew..!! I'm glad they didn't throw tantrums this time having from the bottle"

"Hmm..maybe they were too hungry to notice it" He chuckled.

She smiled watching their babies slowly caressing their heads, while Jai also did the same. Soon as the bottle was finished, they were already asleep.

Jai and Vennela adjusted the blanket over them.

"Bava...can you pass me the towel ?"

"Sure. Here"

She took it from him and wiped babies' lips and neck gently.

Out of nowhere, the flight attendant appeared again making Vennela groan internally.

There goes....

"Sir...do you want some help regarding the food ?"

"Ohh...can you..."

"Bava..."

Jai turned facing his wife.

"There is something on your lips...let me see"

He frowned and chuckled internally.

"Oh yeah ?"

"Yes...here.." Vennela brushed his lips softly with her thumb, making him shudder and smile wide.

She adjusted his hair. All the while, the flight attendant stood there, face slightly flushed in shame and a little bit of anger too.

"Thank you baby😉" He winked at her and turned.

"Ohh you're here ? Yes..I meant....can my wife get a glass of lemonade please. And a slice of cheesecake too. She loves it. Right sweety?😀"

Her eyes widened slightly hearing him call her that infront of her, but proudly nodded.

"Yes please. I'd love that☺️"

"Sure ma'am. Anything for you sir ?"

"Just a glass of plain water"

"Got it. I'll be right back"

She went faster than she came.

Jai laughed silently looking at her.

Vennela frowned and pinched his nose.

"You're a menace. Enjoying this too much huh?"

"Of course...I love seeing the jealousy written on your face like you wanted to slap her both cheeks"

"Why not ? No one looks at my husband. Only I've the privilege😌"

"To look at me or...taste me... ?" he whispered softly.

"Both" She turned her face proudly and watched the window.

He chuckled and ruffled her hair soft.

"Wait until this flight lands, then you can vent out all your anger on me...in our room"

He whispered shamelessly in her ear, making it warm instantly to a red.

Vennela gave a jab on his stomach and adjusted on her seat.

After a while, she started getting restless.

"How much more time, bava ? My breasts are getting sore😩" She whispered near his ear.

"Ohh oops...it will take around 20 minutes bangaruuu... do you feel like any leaking ?"

"Not yet. I've adjusted the pad inside. But it will leak soon. You and your babies drink so much that I overproduce everyday"

"I love it. What can I do ?😗"

"Shameless" She said with a small smile.

"Wait for a little more while until we reach our hotel"

"Okay. You don't worry, bava"

"Hmm...we will land soon, and if it's urgent we can use a room in the airport"

She nodded.

Babies were awake in their parent's arms. The flight announced the landing. They did as per the instructions.

Once the flight landed, Jai and Vennela took their hand bags and walked out, Vennela first with ammu and Jai behind with Rishu. While the way outside, they met the same flight attendant again, who was watching them a little embarrassed.

"Thank you sir and ma'am. I hope you had a wonderful journey☺️"

"You're welcome. We had a wonderful journey, our babies didn't trouble much and I could see my wife's possessiveness over me again😂"

Vennela looked at him sharply.

Oh man...I'm dead.

The flight attendant chuckled.

"I'm sorry. Anyways you both make a perfect couple. And the babies too. Really cute"

"They got it from their mother❤️😌"

Vennela's cheeks warmed up instantly forgetting the momentary stiffness.

The flight attendant smiled warmly as they got outside.

"Phew! Finally" Vennela took a long breath.

Jai chuckled while taking a private room for a moment to relax.

Babies were drowsy and rubbing their eyes, a little cranky already.

"Amma is here. Wait😘😘" She laid them both on their laps and adjusted her dress.

:Bava ...can you help with the hook of this bra ? I cannot reach it"

"Sure" He unhooked it in a go.

"You're so expert in this, right ?🤭🙂‍↔️" She chuckled shaking her head.

"Yes. Perks of being the husband to a beautiful wife"

She pinched her thighs gently and carefully made babies latch on.

"Call mavaiyya and tell that we have reached no"

"Yeah I was about to"

The call was taken in few seconds.

"Hi nana...we reached here just now"

"Okay Jai. How was the journey ? Did you reach the hotel?"

"It was good, nana. Haven't reached the hotel yet, sitting in the airport"

"Oh ...okay. Where is Vennela ?"

He changed the phone to loudspeaker.

"I'm here mavaiyya. I'm hearing"

"Okay. Take rest you both. And babies ?"

"Babies were cranky at the end, so bangaram is feeding them. We will go from the airport now"

"Alright. Lakshmi ... its Jai and Vennela..."

"Did they reach, anna...?"

"Here you speak"

" Hello..."

"We reached amma, don't worry. I'm feeding babies. Will video call you once we reach the hotel☺️"

"That's fine. Were they cranky ?"

"No atteya, hopefully they didn't. They are the best"

Lakshmi smiled.

"They sure are. I'm missing then already. And Vennu...don't give them any new items there. Their stomach will get upset"

"Of course amma. Bava won't even let me eat junk, let alone babies"

"Hawww...It's not like that, you know me atteya"

"Yes I know you Jai. That's why im tension free"

Vennela rolled her eyes making him laugh.

"Your daughter isn't liking this conversation a bit, atteya😂"

"Jai, dare you trouble my kid. Buy her anything she asks"

"And there goes .."

"I love you mavaiyya. You're the best"

"Okay okay...we will call you guys later, then"

"Hahaha...now bava is eager to cut the call. Amma, tell chinnatha, babai, nagulu, Chinna, pinky, maama, pinni and everyone that we have reached safely ok ?"

"Tell to the fishes, goats and cows too, atteya😌"

Lakshmi laughed from the other end hearing Jai scowl from the pinch of his wife.

He disconnected the call.

"Couldn't you wait till we reach our room, eager much huh ?" He asked playfully with tongue in his cheeks.

"Yes eager so much to hit you😑"

"Calm down, princess. Anger is no good for you.Feed my babies properly"

"I'm doing, huff"

He tucked the hair falling on her cheeks behind her ear.

She watched him softly as a cushion was adjusted behind her back.

"Lean in"

She did.

"I'll give a back massage for you when we reach room"

"Only decent one"

"Oh I've to think about it. But you'd love it for sure"

The baby girl unlatched after having her fill.

"Aww are you done, baby ?☺️" Vennela caressed the baby's head gently.

She gave a toothless smile and extended her chunky hands to her father.

"Ohho...you needed amma for milk only huh ? Little donga...🙂‍↔️"

Jai took his mini vennela carefully and made her burp. Then he kissed her lots making her laugh loud.

Vennela smiled watching them.

"She knows that her amma is the best"

"Now butter me like that🙂‍↔️"

Jai walked around the room showing her little things- a vase, a painting and even played peekaboo. The little princess enjoyed everything her father showed.

Meanwhile Rishu had finally unlatched his mother, giving the cutest grin on whole earth, such that Vennela felt her heart melting and flowing away.

"Amma's little krishna ...muah muah... 😘😘"

she adjusted her clothes and took his chunky self in her arms, cooing his chubby cheeks.

"My cutest little bun😍"

Rishu adored his mother's kisses and nestled closer to her neck, keeping his head there gently.

Vennela felt emotions coming in her, her eyes welled up as she held her baby closer.

Jai noticed it and raised her eyebrows.

She shook her head through tears.

"I'm glad I got such lovely babies"

He smiled and held her hands as they walked out with the luggages.

They were welcomed to the JW Marriott Hotel, Singapore by the client.

"Welcome, Sir and your family"

"Thank you" Jai said while Vennela smiled warmly.

Ammu and rishu were fast asleep in their parents arms.

The luggages were taken to their room and they followed the hotel staff.

Vennela looked around mesmerized.

"Wow..bava...look at that🤩" Her eyes were twinkling at the brightness of a big chandelier in the main entrance hall.

Jai smiled warmly seeing her innocent excitement.

"Yes. It's beautiful. But you're even more beautiful than that and I don't see anything else but you"

She blushed at that and held her palm around his.

"This is your room, sir. You can call on intercom if anything is needed. Also the lunch is ready. We have a buffet downstairs in the dining area. If you wish to eat in the room, then we provide services here"

"Alright. Thank you. Can we get a crib for our babies ?"

"Sure sir. It will be arranged in few minutes"

The attendant smiled and went.

"Phew.. let's keep babies on the bed, bava"

He nodded and both of them kept their babies on the bed. Their munchkins were too tired. Vennela sat beside them and carefully caressed their tiny heads softly. Irresistable, she planted feathery kisses on their foreheads. Jai watched Vennela- the mother, with lovely and admiration.

"Bava...is there a fridge in here ?"

"Let me check"

He went inside and saw a mini fridge, already filled with some water bottles and juices.

"Yep. There is one. Why ?"

"No..I've to store milk. That's why"

"Ohh yeah. I'm so hungry right now. Aren't you ?"

"Yes me too"

"Then let's order something here"

"Yes. I was about to tell that, bava. I feel like a slight headache too. Because of travel"

"I'll take the balm. After lunch we can take a nap"

She nodded.

Jai and Vennela changed into their comfortable daily wear. She was wearing a soft sleeveless cotton frock that reached till her knees. While he was wearing tshirt and shorts. They had ordered some vegetable noodles and hot tomato soups.

"This apartment is so large and beautiful, bava. I loved it"

She walked through the rooms, living, bathroom, dining...and their big bedroom.

Sliding the curtain, her jaw was dropped seeing the amazing view of the city outside.



"It will be even more beautiful at night☺️😘" Jai wrapped her from behind and swayed his body.

Vennela instantly leaned towards him, his scent was too comforting and safe.

"I know, bava. Omg...we are in Singapore. I can't believe it😍"

"You've to. And I'm so happy that my whole world is with me❤️"

She smiled and tightened her arms around his.

"The food will get cold" She reminded him.

"Yes...let's eat"

They had some vegetable noodles and hot tomato soup.

"The food is nice...☺️"

"Hmm...it's okayish. It doesn't even match the food you prepare. Though you love noodles I know well😂"

A small laugh bubbled up from her lips.

"There are no accessories here to cook, otherwise I'd have made you some food"

"No. I want you to take rest fully these days. No cooking" He pointed a finger gun at her making her laugh.

"Okay husband😂"

"Oh god ! Look at these, bava" Vennela got astonished seeing the few minutes of pumping filled both bottles of milk.

"I'm seeing ....and drooling. Are you still sore ?😍"

"A little more" She nodded and again attached the emptied pump back in her dress.

"I'd have helped"

"I know right. Are you... umm...hungry still ?🙈"

"I can always have a space for it"

She twisted his ear, blushing.

"Anyways I'll have it later. Right now both of us need rest"

"Yes☺️"

"I'll keep these bottles in the fridge"

She nodded as Jai went inside.

Babies were shifted to the crib and the parents were laying on the bed, cuddling close. Vennela rested her head on his chest while Jai wrapped his legs around hers and continued caressing her hair softly. He occasionally caresses her forehead where balm was applied earlier.

"Bavu..."

"Hmm ?"

"I...just feel like everything is a dream. I've never dreamt of having a life like this. Getting you...and babies. You all have made my life complete and meaningful. When i imagined how I'd like a mother, I couldn't even think of these that I'm doing now...taking care of my babies, like without them I'm no more"

Jai heard her calmly, smiling.

"And these wouldn't have been possible without you. Your support. I even had some low times thinking who would marry this crazy me ? Maybe I'd have even married to someone from the village itself. I never had thought of traveling to these places"

Jai intertwined his fingers with hers.

"It's the same here, baby. In different ways.
Yeah I was the city boy. I was really scared of marriage itself. What if I marry the wrong girl? Or a girl who gives more importance to materialistic things and not caring much family traditions or to be bonded with the family members. Yes I've flirted with girls in colleges ....but it wasn't serious. Many had proposed me too. But I said no to them. I wasn't serious about any girl until I met you. When I saw you the first time, it was love at first sight. You had that innocence which charmed me even in the beginning. You cared about everyone around you, except you. You even cared about the cats, dogs and birds. I never wanted or desired anyone as much as I want you. I was a little scared, what if your charm misses once you shift back to Hyderabad and I'd blame myself had that happened. But I'm so happy that it didn't. You are the same person I've met the first time. Talking about you as a mother, it's still surprises me ...you manage everything so calmly...tenderly....you are giving them your everything. And i see that you've matured a lot too. I'm so glad that I got you. I'll marry you even for the next seven births if I've. Everyday with you is a blessing. Waking up watching your beautiful face. The way you take care of me...you're the perfect blend of what I've wished for❤️"

She sniffed on his chest hearing him.

"I love you more than my life, bava" She hugged his waist tighter.

"And I love you more, my butter bun😘"

He planted a kiss on her head as they drifted off to sleep.
