Chapter 34
"I want to remember." Derek looked up from his book to stare at Levi in confusion. He raised an eyebrow and she sighed. "I want to remember everything Deucalion took from me. I want to remember you, Cora, Laura, mom, dad... everyone." She explained and Derek marked his book before crossing the room to hug her.
"Deaton. We could always ask if he knows anything that could bring them back."

Levi stared at Deaton cautiously. "So I can do it?"
Deaton nodded. "I've seen it a few times before, the alpha can restore both of their own and someone else's memories at the same time if it is the same ones. He remembers, you remember. Simple."
Levi looked at Derek who nodded. "I trust you." She smiled back at him and walked over to him, her hand hovering against the back of her neck. Closing her eyes, she pushed her claws gently into the back of his neck.

A ten-year-old Levi pulled on a newly turned sixteen-year-old Derek's sleeve. It was his birthday, and Levi had been told she could pick out a present for him while they were shopping.
"Derr, look!" She tugged him over to a rack of clothes, while their parents, Cora and Laura laughed at Derek's expression. Levi pointed to a black leather jacket on the rack and smiled at Derek. "I want you to have it!"
Derek laughed and picked it up, trying it on and turning to look at his younger sister. "Whatcha think? Do I look handsome?" He joked and Levi nodded.
"Prince Charming looks better though but it'll do." Derek joking faked a hurt look but ruffled her hair and turned to his parents. They nodded and he passed them the jacket, smiling at Levi the whole time.

"Levi! Get over here!" Eleven-year-old Levi jogged over to where Derek was standing in the small shop they had been in only months before where Levi had told Derek to buy the leather jacket.
"What?"
"Since it's your birthday, I want you to get this." He held out a smaller leather jacket (which was still way too big for her) and she slung it on, smiling widely up at him.
He ruffed her hair. "Perfect."
Levi removed her claws from Derek's neck, both of them now covered in sweat and breathing deeply. She remembered everything. Derek looked up at her and Levi could see that he remembered everything too. He rushed forward and grabbed the back of her neck, pulling her into a tight hug and encasing her head with his arms.
"I can't believe I forgot."
"You didn't forget Derek; you had the memories taken away. I did too."
Deaton smiled at the both of them. "I believe my work is done here."

Levi knocked heavily on the door. The rain was running down her neck and she was soaked through to the skin, the cold temperature chilling her. The door finally swung open and Scott stood in his pyjamas staring at Levi.
He took one look at her shivering and brought her inside, yelling for Isaac. The beta poked his head out from the top of the stairs and stared at Levi worried. Scott pointed to the bathroom and Isaac got what he was getting at and fetched Levi one of the warmed towels.
Scott wrapped it around her shoulders, sat her down on the couch and held her hands while Isaac warmed up the cold pot of coffee on the counter.
Scott and Isaac could both tell that something had shocked Levi to the core. They had never seen Levi vulnerable. She always seemed rough, detached from her emotions and never really her age. She was off, shaken.
"Derek and I... we got our memories back..." Scott smiled at her.
"Hey, that's a great thing! Right?" He spoke sure at first but then trailed off, imagining the worst.
"Yeah but...I remembered something..." She trailed off, placing her head into her hands and slumping forward, while Scott hushed her and wrapped his arms around his pack member.
"They aren't dead Scott..."
Scott and Isaac shared confused looks. Isaac shoved the coffee into her hands and sat down in front of her, placing his hands on her shoulders.
"Who isn't dead Levi?"
Levi looked up, her eyes faintly shining red due to her state. "My old pack. They're alive."
//////////
Derek stared a Levi for a moment, smiling slightly at her. "And you promise you'll call if anything goes wrong?" She questioned and he rolled his eyes.
"Yes mum. Now go. Find your pack." Derek gave her a gentle push out the door. Levi smirked back at him before sliding the heavy door shut and tightening her straps on her rucksack. She grabbed the helmet of the old dirt bike she borrowed from Aiden, pulled it on over her head, took a deep breath and with one last glance back at Derek and her own loft, Levi sped away with only her pack on her mind.
It took her a few days, but Levi made it to the small old diner that they all used to hang-out in. She didn't take of the black helmet, but kept it on her head after she had parked up the bike and walked into the diner. It was a locals-only idea, no-one who wasn't from the small town ever even gave the diner a second glance so it made sense that the diner went quiet as she walked in, her helmet covering her eyes. She was approached by Dave, the man who owned the place. She remembered now.
"Excuse me, if you want served you'll need to remove the helmet." Levi smiled and pulled it off, her hair falling out and around her shoulders, and a warm smile on her face. Dave looked shocked before a huge grin spread across his face.
"Levi! It's been a while." Levi laughed and hugged the man before he stared her up and down. "You've grown so much!" Levi blushed and he was hushed by one of the younger waiters walking over, a casual murmur had started back up and no-one's attention was still focused on her.
"Dave, leave her alone. I'm sure she's looking for Xander's group. They're outside in the gazebo like old times." The waiter who she recognised as Edward smiled warmly and ushered her out the back door. She knew where the gazebo was, she didn't need to be told. With her memories back, she remembered everything.
She saw them before they saw her. Abigail and Sin were rolling their eyes at the boys, Xander was encouraging Alec by laughing loudly at their joke. Levi leant against one of the trees and it wasn't long before Abigail saw her. The girl sighed and the rest of the pack stared at Abigail.
"I'm seeing Levi." Xander stared at her sadly.
"I thought the hallucinations were gone, you haven't had one in years."
Levi was sad for a second before she moved towards the group and spoke. "If it helps, I had hallucinations of you guys too." They all froze before they slowly turned to look at her.
Xander's eyes widened and he jumped over the barrier of the gazebo, sprinting to her and picking her up in a tight hug. Levi laughed and soon the whole group was in a group hug, Levi wedged in the middle.
They all finally let go and Alec spoke happily. "You're back."
Levi shrugged. "I told you guys I would when my memories were back. It just took longer than I expected."
Abigail smiled at her. "Is that Alpha of Alpha guy dead?"
Levi shook her head. "Not dead, two of his four other pack members are. The other two are on my side now. They aren't alphas anymore. Deucalion has no pack now, and my friends made sure he won't be around anymore."
They all looked happier knowing he wasn't going to wipe Levi's memories again.
"I'm still an alpha." The group all shared look before Xander stepped forward.
"Levi, I'm an alpha too." His eyes shone red and Levi blinked in surprise.
Alec started to explain. "Sin was attacked by a rogue alpha last year, she had got him off her and was going to kill him when she realised she couldn't. She started to walk away when he stood up and lunged for her. Xander slashed his throat before he could touch her."
Levi stared at Xander, a smile on her face. "Look at you." Alec smiled proudly and Levi grinned at him.
"Ever heard of a Pentagonum alpha or a True Alpha?" They all shook their heads and Levi talked.
