Chapter 11: Connected
(Kai's POV)

I was at Card Capital when I saw Aichi fighting against Kamui, who, I believe is on his day off.

I noticed how Aichi became happy; he did say that he met with Kourin again on the concert. I am happy for him.

I remember how, when me, Aichi, and the others disappeared from the moon. I saw how he became sad, and I know it's because of Kourin.

That girl disappeared without any memories left of us, which is, I should say, really sad.

I knew that Aichi wanted to find her for so long, and I was surprised that Aichi kept on finding ways to bring her back.

But I was told he never accomplished.

I was at Europe when I heard about Aichi going to America to study; I was concerned if he was okay, because even though he's happy, there's this part of him that was empty.

I mean, who wouldn't feel that way when the one you love isn't with you?

No, I just read that on Tokura's novel that I borrowed.

All of us were concerned about Aichi, since sometimes, his sister Emi talked with Aichi and that he was crying one time.

He was crying about her.

Sometimes I wanted to go to Takuto Tatsunagi and force him to bring them back, not just Kourin. Suiko and Rekka as well.

But that kid's too high profiled, and fighting against him would be meaningless even if the result would be me winning and still it's unknown if he will return them.

When Ultra Rare came back, I first noticed the blonde idol on the TV. Instead of the usual Kourin that everyone watched, she was different.

Even that Grade 3 freak Morikawa said the same thing.

-flashback-

"Kourin-chan seems different," Morikawa stated.

"Really?" Miwa looked at the TV screen, "Oh yeah, guess you're right. She's not her usual self."

"Well, even though she quite changed, Kourin-chan is still my Kourin-chan!" Morikawa exclaimed, and we all sweat dropped.

"I expected that," Izaki said.

We all nodded.

And when Aichi came back, he looked sad. He was waiting for her to return.

But you know, I was glad that Morikawa invited us on Ultra Rare's concert. Because Aichi told me that after the concert he was called by Takuto and was told that the girls' memories are back, especially on Kourin.

I'm glad that Aichi and Kourin found each other again.

I saw Aichi and Kamui. They were fighting against each other. Aichi won.

"Oh, hey Kai-kun!" Aichi waved his hands at me. I can see his joy all over him, just like he does before.

"Hey Aichi," I gave a little smile at him.

"Ah, I have to leave now..." Kamui stood from his seat and looked at me.

"Kai, brother's too happy today. The Goddess of Luck must've been smiling to him." He said and smirked.

"I know, it's obvious." I replied.

As Kamui left, I went to Aichi and stood in front of him.

"How are you now, Aichi?" I asked.

"Oh, I'm fine!" Aichi said with a grin.

"I see," I looked at him, "How are you with Kourin, I mean."

Aichi suddenly jolted and his face clearly red, he glanced around and looked back at me.

"W-well... Um.. we're fine! I- I met her again and I um... well you see, Kourin-san and I are- um..." He stuttered.

I went to him and touched his shoulders, "Calm down, Aichi. Let's have a fight."

"Um... sure!"

"Oh, I lost." Aichi stated, and smiled at me. "But it was a great fight, Kai-kun! You're truly the strongest person that I know!"

"No," I declined, "YOU are the strongest person."

"Eh?"

"Listen here Aichi, you were the one who stood up by yourself, you fought, and you saved us. You never gave up, and you keep on believing that everything will be alright. You were the one to lead us. You are a true Vanguard."

I looked at Aichi and he gave a sincere smile, and he looked back at me.

"Thank you Kai-kun," He said.

I only nodded.

When we had our second fight, Aichi won.

"Well, I guess I have to leave now, see you again next time Kai-kun!" Aichi said and he waved his hands as he left.

I was at Card Capital by myself, and I don't know why but it has become my habit. Ever since I first came here, and when I met Aichi again, so many things happened, things have changed.

But even though so many things had happened these past years, and everyone left. I know it's weird for me to say this, but I know that everyone will find each other, everyone will find a way to meet again.

Because we're all connect, by fate, and by Vanguard.
