I woke up early in the morning which is not at all me...... that to after talking to jai most of the night but sleep is something I think I am not going to get at least not today anyways I had to wake up early today first I have to tie my brother's Rakhi then I have to prepare the lunch for my future in-laws.... oh god I was not this nervous even when i sat for my CLAT... god knows what is going to happen I got up and got ready quickly I chose to wear a light pink traditional outfit as it was Rakhi and got ready...

And went into the hall to prepare the Thali for Rakhi I went into the puja Ghar and arranged it I knew Sid and Sam wouldnt be awake by now so I took the Thali and went towards the drawing room can't believe it.... this gonna be my last Rakhi as Shanaya Nigam I am not gonna see these monkeys regularly this so hard to believe God knows what I am going to do without them I kept the Thali and went into my room to get both of their gifts I had got for them I got them watches this time... I hope they like it...

I came back to the drawing room and saw my brother's already standing there

"You guys are awake so early...??" I asked...
"We can't be late for our sisters last Raksha Bandhan as a Nigam..." Sam said they both came and gave me hug and I had tears in my eyes...
"Come on Yaar di.... Don't cry now this Sam says anything that comes to his mind you are always going to be a Nigam no matter what and anyways Arora looks so tacky on you..." Sid said... And I laughed...
"Come na Di tie Rakhi soon we are hungry now" I nodded and went to tie them their rakhis it's a ritual between us we don't eat till we have not completed our Rakhi ceremony I went and tied them there Rakhi and gave them there gifts and they liked it
"Now come where are my gifts..."
"What gifts we would be working so much in your wedding that is only your gift..." Sam said...
"Shut up you miser come on don't tease me now give it to me" I said...
They took out a box from behind and I opened it....it was a beautiful diamond necklace

"It's really beautiful guys... I must say the girls have had appositive impact on your sense of fashion Han..." I said teasing them...

"Waah... Even our compliments are directed towards them now" Sam said and all started laughing I was about to stand and go from there when both of them held my hand...
"Where are you going Di the gifts are still not over yet "Sid said

"Come we have a surprise for you " Sam said and we took her to the next surprise we had for her...she saw it and had tears in her eyes it was actually a wall on our drawing room which was empty and Di had been thinking of ideas to fill it but didn't get any we had actually named it the "SHANAYA CORNER" it had all her pictures from childhood to till now... Mamu and Mami holding her and entering into the house ,she playing with mom in the garden, her first birthday ,she holding me for the first time when I was a baby ,her first day in school ,last day in school,first day of college ,then her graduation ,it had all her memories all our rakhshabandhan pictures it also had a corner which contained all the the rakhis she had tied to us and we had saved...
"Wow.... It beautiful.... Thank you" she said and gave us a hug..."
"Abhi kya hua... Tomorrow you were the one teasing me for crying now who is doing it" Mami said to Di ..
"However smart she may be after all she is your daughter only how can't she be emotional like you" mom said...and everyone laughed...
"When did you guys do it?? I mean it was not there the last time I saw..."
"They did it after you slept they worked all night" Avneet told her...
"Awwww....you guys I love you so much" she came and pulled both of our cheeks and then hugged us...
"Aaaow Di stop doing this... We are not kids anymore..."
"You guys are always going to be my baby brothers even when you are 106" she said with tears in her eyes we went and gave her a bone crashing hug...even the elders had tears in there eyes...
"Come on guys it's a happy day stop being sad come even Bee needs to tie papa Rakhi" Sam said everyone wiped there tears and we went towards the couch again mom tied Mamu Rakhi and he gave her a gold bracelet.... And then we had our chatter for a little time when Avneet said...
"Di I think we should start preparing for the lunch it's already time "
"Ya Avneet sure let's go..."
"You guys carry on and we both are off to sleep " I said yawning... To the girls...
"Ya Di sorry we thought of helping you today but too tired to do this..."
"It's okay Sam go have some rest waise bhi you guys will be a menace in kitchen so it's better you sleep" Di said.... And every one laughed...

We went into the kitchen and the staff greeted us...
"So Di what do you wanna cook first I mean exotic or Indian..." I asked...
"I have no idea Rads what do you guys think??" She asked us...
"I think exotic he travels so much I think he will like it..." I suggested
"Ya he does but I think Indian food is something that all of them will like but even Rads is correct... I am too confused..." She said...
"Nothing confusing Di let's go for fusion of everything for example butter chicken lasagna..... I think that would be something that everyone will like and we can also bake some oatmeal raisin cookies for snacks too..."Avneet suggested
"But Avu are you sure...??" Di asked
"Damn sure Di trust me...." Avneet said...
Then we started preparing it I mean Di is really a pro she worked like she have been doing this all her life Avneet too is good at cooking but I knew it already...... Everything except the desserts was finished within 3.5 hrs...
"Wow we are ahead of time... Well done Di..." Avneet said to Di...
"Nothing would have been possible without you guys thank you so much girls...it wouldn't have been possible without you guys..." She said hugging us...
"Guys we need to make the cookies too and I wanted to make Gajar Ka halwa too.... Avneet do one thing na you make the cookies I will do the Gajar Ka halwa..." Di asked...
"Di you make the cookies no " Avneet said...
"But you are better than me in baking..." She said making a confused face...
"But I think your future husband will like it more if you bake them..." She said...
"But why??? he will even like the Gajar Ka halwa..." Di asked confused...
"Offo Di do it na.... Trust me..." Avneet said...
"Ok fine but you need to help me with the recipe " Di said to Avneet

We started preparing the desserts Avneet was dual tasking actually..... I was helping her with the halwa...then finally the cookies were kept on the oven and Di came to us...
"Uff finally finished the servants will take them out when it's ready she said to us ..
"Even I am finished it will be done in 15 more mins..." Avneet said... Just then I saw Samaira entering the kitchen holding a vessel in her hand what is she doing here...??

"You in kitchen I think you forgot your way..... Sid's room is that way..." I said....
"Ya Di I know obviously I hang out there the most " she said looking towards Avneet how cheap can this girl get....

"Leave it na Di.... Congrats on your rishta... I am so happy for you..." She said hugging me again why wouldn't she be happy she must be thinking now her path is clear for Sid but that is never gonna happen Samaira..... not till the time I am alive...
"Thank you Samaira... What is this??" I asked pointing towards the vessel she brought...
"Oh this just some crab cakes I thought I will make them for today's lunch...." She said I was fine with it they are Sid's favourite anyways so didn't say anything...
"No no.... We can't have them in lunch..." Avneet said suddenly...
"And who are you to tell me that..."Samaira said with the utmost rudeness...even I was confused Avneet is not that type of girl to reject anything like this...
"Why can't we have it Avneet...???" I asked her...
"Woh.... Woh.... They are Punjabis right I mean we Punjabis hate sea food like seriously that's why...." She said...
"Come on Yaar Avneet I know many Punjabis who love sea food you are too precautious Yaar..."
"May be the Punjabis you know don't like sea food because they can't afford sea food it's quite expensive you know...."Samaira said this is the thing I hate the most about her she thinks money and status are everything and those who don't have it are are useless....I had to answer her back...
"At least she knows people and their food choices that is the reason she has an amazing friends circle but some people are not lucky enough to have these things because they are too stubborn.... Right Samaira..." I said smiling towards her she was looking at me like she is going to eat me or something....just then I heard Sid's voice coming from the living room.... may be he woke up.... I knew soon Samaira would be leaving...and she did..
"I think Sid is awake I should go and meet him " she said and went away from the kitchen....
"Woaaaah..... Di you are superb I mean this was legit fire I love you more now" Rads said and gave me hug....
"Thank you Rads.... But even you guys need to learn this too you can't tolerate her like this...." I said...

"And that Is how she should be treated... God I hate her so much" I said...
"Waise Di why do you hate her so much I mean I know she likes Sid and stuff but every other girl drools over him but you only hate her..." Avneet asked me...
"Avneet it was never about that I just don't like the way she is.... You know I was the head girl when Sid Sam and Samaira were in 6th or 7th grade and this girl used to be a bully even in such a young age she used to take away things from other girls telling the scholarship students that they don't deserve education commenting on everyone's body shapes god knows what else I mean girls would come crying to me telling me to save them I complained a thousand times to Ashok uncle her father but nothing came back as a result I mean he was always like bachi hai....he is really nice but have spoilt Samaira like anything and she totally takes advantages of it....so I had to start being rude to her this was the only way to control her and she even did listen to me may be because she didn't want to be in my bad books as I am Sid's sister and stuff but she never changed after I left school and went to London during one of my holidays I came here and met a friend of mine in a mall and she told me how a scholarship student dropped out from our school just because of Samaira they all were in senior grade at that time... I don't know what is her obsession with making everything her's if she likes it... that's why I don't like the fact that she wants Sid in her life it scares me sometime.... Do you guys know that her actual name was Amaira she made it Samaira so it has a S like Sid's she is so mad...."
"What!!!??" Both Avneet and Rads said simultaneously...
"Yaa...."I said and they started giggling....
"What are you guys laughing at...??" I heard Sid's voice I turned to see him and even Samaira was there with him...
"Nothing much.... I was just telling them what stupid girls  do just to be with you...."

"Ohhh... Ya ya I know but we shouldn't call them stupid it's not there problem that I am irresistible..." Sid said giving a smirk...
"No Sid believe me the one I am talking about is really stupid...." Rads and Avneet started giggling...." Anyways you here ??" I asked him...
"Oh yes... Mamu told that they will be reaching soon so I think you guys should get ready..."
"Oh yes I will go" I said..
"Me too" Rads said...
"I will take 10 mins more" Avneet said...
"you guys go I will join later..."
"Are you sure do you want any help" I asked her...
"No no Di you go and even you Rads there is no work I just need to look at the halwa it will take 10 mins.. "she replied....
"Even I will take the leave I will come back after I get ready " Samaira said and went from there then even I and Rads went to our respective rooms..

Rads ,Di, Samaira everyone went and only both of us were there in the kitchen now... she looked beautiful.... I need to drive her attention towards me she is too focussed on the stupid halwa I went near her held her waist and pulled her towards me...
"Sid... This is insane now... It's a kitchen anyone would come the servants, Mamu Mami ,Di anyone..."
"So what...I am just holding your waist nothing else..."
"Offo leave me na my halwa is going to burn..... I will stop talking to you otherwise"
"Ok ok fine.... Stop blackmailing me.." and I left her...
"Good..." I saw the halwa was almost ready she switched the flame off and was searching for the lid to cover it I thought of tasting it.... took a spoon and was about to take a dip when she turned towards me and gave me a slap...on my arms...
"Aaaow Avu...it hurts..."
"It's bad manners Sid to eat from the cooking vessel.... You do it everytime it's going to rain in your wedding..."
"What??!!" I asked confused...
"People who eat from the vessel while it's still in the stove it rains in their wedding...it's a belief... my mother used to say it to me when I behaved like you..."she said stirring the halwa a little...
"Why do you care so much about my wedding...??" I asked her...
"Because it's gonna be my.....I mean my friend's wedding too that's why.. "she said covering up pretty nicely...
"Oh... Waise talking about my wedding it's nice that my family is so impressed with you..." I said to her and a smile crept into her face....
"Why is it nice for your wedding...??" She asked hope quite visible in her eyes....
"It will be easy to talk to them about the girl I love..."

I went into my room and got ready in a normal camouflage. T-shirt and denims under it...

I checked in the mirror and I was looking fine... Then Sam entered into my room wearing a white t-shirt and a black jacket over it...

"Wow Sam you look nice..."...I complimented him...
"You too bro... Come let's go " he said..
"Ya lets go " I said and we came out of my room....we started walking towards the drawing room when suddenly Sam stopped in between and was looking somewhere and was dumbstruck I looked towards the direction he was looking at and I saw Rads coming from there wearing a skirt and a royal blue sleeve less top over it she looked pretty and I understood that my brother was not dumbstruck but lovestruck...

I snapped him out of his trance and said..
"I know bro she looks pretty and you are hopelessly in love with her but you can't behave like this Infront of Di's future in laws.... What are they going to think that you are mad or something..." I said and was laughing Sam gave me a stern look...
"Why are you guys laughing???... Oh shit I told Avu I shouldn't wear this I look horrible right...." She asked...
"No Rads you look beautiful so beautiful that your boyfriend here is unable to speak any words" she looked towards Sam and he was again smiling at her goofily lost in her trance she tried to bring him back by waving her hand Infront of his face but nothing happened...

"SAMMMM!!!WE ARE GETTING LATE..."he came out of his trance again...
"Oh god... Sid not so loud I will turn into a deaf..." He said to me...
"I had to bro you were smiling like you will not be able to smile ever again..."he gave me a look and turned towards Rads...

"Ahem ahem love birds.... We are getting late...where is Avneet btw??" I asked Rads...
"She came late right she is getting ready she will join us later she told us to go.... let's go..." Rads said...
"Okay..." Sam said and we came towards the drawing room and Di was already standing there all decked up wearing a traditional set... Of white and fluroscent green colour....

"Wow Di you rock in Indian wears...." Rads complimented her...
"Thank you Rads... Even Sam says the same thing...and you look pretty too...where is Avneet btw??" Di asked...I was about to answer her when I heard her voice from my back
"I am here..." She said I turned towards her voice and saw her dressed in a blue floral skirt and blouse with her waist all flaunted and was gaping at her she looked beautiful she came towards us gave me an angry look and went towards Di...

"You too sweetheart... And someone has been gaping a lot on you ...." Di said looking towards me... I straightened my face.... And reduced the smile in my face

"Offo come with me..." I held her wrist and dragged her with me to a corner behind a pillar...
"Leave me..." She was about to go but I caged her in between my arms...

"If you love somebody else why do you keep doing these things to me " she asked furious like hell....
"Exactly Avneet if I love somebody else why would I be doing all these to you there must be some connection" I said to her she thought for a while then smiled...
