Her hands covered my palms. I walked with her. She passed through the locked gate like air passed through net. I tried to climb the wall by the gate and then, jumped. I followed her again, she didn't wait for second. Her hand grabbed my wrist. Clouds and water vapours covered us. All streets and houses were gone. It seems like we were travelling in space. I tried to ask question but she signed to keep quiet.

Pure silence there it was

No one to rule me like a boss

"I don't know whether its right to tell you or not but I think you are mature. You are mature than your age . Only few people in Earth are gifted like this. You have ability to understand the truth unlike other kids, right? I think I should in keep you in darkness anymore. I hope your sister, Katherine didn't told you about this." She said. Her eyes were on her feet. Her long hair were covering her cheeks.

"I don't get what you are saying." I said, straightforward.

"It's okay... you will get that." She said.

I looked silently into her blue eyes.

"I don't know how to begin. Am, remember the diamond I gave you and you threw it away. It wasn't for good luck charm." She said in low voice.

"So what was it?" I demanded.

"Past teller. I didn't have the stamina to speak the truth of your life in front for you. So, I decided to gave that gem. So, you can see past by yourself. But, you didn't trust me... you shouldn't... right? Promise that you will admit it, what I will say" She said gravely. Her eyes were filling with drops of blue.

"I will admit that." I said.

She knelt down and picked the diamond that I threw. She ordered to grab it tight.

"you what you see in this?" she asked.

I glimpsed . The diamond sparkled and then, I saw something strange. Dylan shiny white teeth framed by his spooky lips. The reflection began to fade in view and I saw I was laughing. The diamond turned blank. I just got, my life was in danger because of Dylan.

"So, you get something?" she said.

"Dylan is endangering me?" I said.

"Yes." She said in husky tune.

"but wasn't the past. It is happening." I said.

"So clever of you. burrow that diamond few steps away." She ordered.

I did that like she said. And then I moved back to her. Her finger pointed the direction of diamond. A yellow light accelerated from her finger. The diamond flew up and transformed into a screen. I saw myself in the screen. When I was just a toddler. I was sitting with Katherine laughing and I saw someone else too. It was Jake laughing with us. Of course he was looking more younger. Then everything faded away. I saw Katherine with Dylan in front of flames. Does this mean that Jake belong to my past. But why he was with me?

"Jake belong to my past?" I asked her.

"He still belongs to you." she said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"you don't have a sister only-" She stopped.

I gazed her face badly.

"You have a brother too." She said. Tears made transparent strokes on her face. I was shocked. I was motionless. My feet were sweating and my body was shivering with cold. It was unbelievable for me. Was she lying? No, why will she? I knew she was right.

"but how? I can't understand!" I screamed.

"I will tell you everything, sit down." She said

She and I sat on the ground. Her eyes were on ground and my lenses were on her face.

"Once I had a friend, he was a werewolf. Dylan killed him. I hope you know about the traditional thoughts of vampires and werewolves for each other." She said in depressing tune.

"Then?" I asked.

"I cursed that he will suffer with the biggest guilt trip of his life and you will be his cause." She was quite uncomfortable.

I was speechless and she continued after taking a break.

"You were only two years old when Katherine and Dylan were school friends. Instead of turning bitter enemies they turn close friends. One day Dylan demanded her to break the curse and then everything went wrong. Jake left you when you were four. Your parents were already gone two years before Jake."

"But why Jake?" I was puzzled.

"I am sorry..." She cried and screamed.

She stood up and stepped, away. The vapours around began to fade. I ran towards her.

"Wait!" I said. She stopped. I ran towards her.

"I want to ask you something?" I said.

"What?" she asked.

"Did Dylan break the curse?" I questioned.

"No, he is still trying. He is trying to kill me." she said. Her blue eyes lit up.

"Can you please that why Jake left me?"

"Dylan threatened Jake... and he left you. I hope you can ask this from Jake."

"I will..." I wiped my tears away.

"forget the past Austin and make you present perfect, okay? I'm there for you, always, anywhere, anytime." She said and then, she disappeared.

At that time I came to know that why Jake provide me a shelter? Why he offered me to stay with him? Why he was happy to see me? This was the reason. I decided to meet Jake and tell him that I knew everything. Clouds were covering the sky and wind was blowing fast. I started to walk towards Jake's house.

I was slowly through the woods towards his house. Clouds turned red and it began to rain. I was standing at his door, knocking, continuously. No one opened it. I pushed the door and it opened. I stepped inside like a thief. The house was in dark, no lights were switched on. I walked towards his bed. I hid under the bed. I was waiting for his arrival. Time passed, I heard his footsteps and I saw his shoes. I saw him on the phone. He was talking to someone.

"What?" he said.

"and you don't even know how to treat a kid...Katherine." He spoke.

"I am your elder brother... not you!" he said.

He was talking to Katherine. I thought, he was talking about me. So, Katherine came to know that I ran away and she told this Jake too, wow. My sister made me feel like an illusion just for Dylan. The person who wanted me to end. I came out of my thoughts. I saw Jake was looking at me. His eyes were shocked.
