When I saw his eyes, I wanted to cry.

His carefree and beautiful ocean blue eyes were a dull and broken grayish-blue, his eyes clouded and shattered.

I punched a window in my anger. It shattered on impact.

I punched another, and another, until all the windows had shattered and left glass shards on my fist.

I looked down at my hands in horror.

My mind had ridiculous ideas sometimes.

Lick's POV

It was a normal day for me, haunting players with my friends, Emit and Erin.

They're known as Entity_303 and 404 in your world, I believe.

This is a singleplayer world, but who needs rules?

I stalked the player, who was named '09sharkboy'.

But I stopped when I saw something extraordinary.

He was talking to Rainbow Steve like best buddies.

Emit and Erin came up from behind me. I waved at them, signaling for them to stop, then pointed at Rainbow Steve.

"The player's talking to Rainbow." Emit breathed.

Erin looked confused. "This isn't a mod. This is the real Rainbow."

I agreed. "The dude has the same aura as the real Rainbow."

We spyed on the player. Then I saw a small rainbow figure running towards him.

"Junior?"

Junior, also known as Junior Rainbow Steve, ran up to 'Shark' and tapped a nearby chicken with his rainbow stick. "Poof!" He squealed happily as the chicken turned rainbow coloured.

'Shark' smiled at him.

Suddenly, as we were about to show ourselves to Rainbow and the player, I felt a pain in my chest, and I bent over, rolling around on the grass in pain.

It felt like a million shards of glass cutting themselves into my heart.

Emit saw me and knelt next to me. "What happened?"

"I don't k-know." I managed to choke out. "G-get Rainbow."

Erin looked worried. "Must be very painful if he wants us to show ourselves to Rainbow and Junior with a player here."

He jumped out of bush we were hiding in, startling Rainbow and '09sharkboy'.

Emit stayed by my side, muttering, "Be strong, Lick. Fight it, whatever it is."

I heard the sounds of weapons drawing.

"Shark! He's a friend!" Rainbow shouted.

'Shark' growled. "He's Entity_404."

"I'm real. He's real." Rainbow tried to calm him down. "If the Steves are real, why can't Erin be?"

"Erin?" 'Shark' asked.

"Be glad I didn't kill you, but I'm here on important matters." Erin turned to Rainbow. "Lick... he's hurt. Or something. I don't know."

"Is Emit here?" Rainbow asked hurriedly.

"Yes, they're in the bush right there." Erin led Rainbow to where we are.

"Emit? Bring him out." Rainbow shouted. "Erin, help him."

Erin nodded and pushed away the branches in the bush, allowing us to walk through.

"Is Lick ok?" Erin asked.

I stood up shakily, pain coursing through my veins.

"I can stand." I said and slowly shuffled out.

I made it right at Rainbow's feet until I collapsed, almost fainting from the pain.

"Stay with us, Lick." Rainbow murmured.

He looked around, feeling my chest.

"Your chest hurts?" He asked.

I managed the smallest nod.

"Wait, can anyone answer what's happening here?" 'Shark' asked.

Fast as an adder, Emit jumped up and held his sword to 'Shark' 's throat.

"We are not supposed to show ourselves to the outer world." He hissed. "Yet we did. Think of why."

He pushed 'Shark' on the ground and came back to me.

"I have to take off your mask to fix this." Rainbow Steve mused. "Also, I have to call Blue."

"Do what you must, but no taking off the mask in front of the mortal." I gritted my teeth.

Rainbow shrugged. "Let me talk to Shark for a moment."

"...camera...footage..." I heard Rainbow say.

"...worry...delete...know..." Shark replied.

"...YouTube...video...promise?"

"...yes." Shark replied.

Rainbow came back.

"Bye Shark. Tomorrow?" He asked.

Shark just nodded and left the game.

09sharkboy has left the game.

I breathed a sigh of relief.

"The world server?" Rainbow asked.

"Yeah." I agreed through my pain.

Basically, the world server was the place where everyone is. The main world of Minecraftia, everyone has access to it, but only certain people can change the code in the realm.

Hackers' ultimate goal is to sucessfully hack the world server. After that, you're treated as a master of hacking.

As far as I know, only Emit and Erin has done it.

Rainbow teleported me to the world server, right next to his house.

Emit and Erin appeared second later, and Rainbow disappeared to find Blue Steve.

About a minute later, I saw Blue Steve and Green Steve appearing in front of me.

"What happened?" Green asked.

"I don't know!" Rainbow wringed his wrists, shaking his head. "Why do you think I called Blue?"

I clenched my fists. The pain had subsided for a moment before, but now it was back and stronger than ever.

Blue knelt down next to me and touched my forehead through the mask.

He closed his eyes, sensing if anything was wrong.

"When since did you have a bond?" Blue asked sternly.

What?

The others were just as confused as I was.

"A bond?" They exclaimed. "When since?"

"That's what I want to know." I replied impatiently.

Blue looked at Green, who nodded.

Green has the ability to see if people are lying, and I apparently am not.

He also has has a kind of telepathy with Blue, which allows them to speak inside each others' head.

Now I wonder, is that a bond?

Suddenly, a fresh burst of pain dug into my heart, like someone had stabbed me in the heart then twisted the blade.

I screamed, probably alerting everyone in Minecraftia.

Green rushed to my side and touched my forehead, gritting his teeth.

"Lick?" Rainbow paced around me, trying to see what Green was doing, but Blue held him back.

The pain was almost unbearable, and an image flashed through my mind.

A girl, about ten, laying down on the floor dead as two men ran over to another man on the floor, looking broken.

As the image faded, the pain abruptly stopped.

Green was on the floor panting, and Blue was next to him in an instant.

Rainbow ran over to me, closely followed by Erin and Emit.

"Lick." Green panted. "Blue."

Blue seemed to understand and went over to me while supporting Green.

I sat on the grass, opening my mouth to tell them about the image.

Green stared at me for a split second and was next to me, right as I fell to the ground again.

My head felt like it exploded and it felt as if a million blades were stabbing me.

"What's wrong with him?" I could faintly hear Emit's voice and Green's panting. I felt Blue touching my forehead and I fell unconscious as I felt Blue use his magic.
