Kakashi POV

"Kakashi!!!!!"

"(Name)..." Kakashi mumbled. He soon opened his eyes in a familiar setting. He was in the hospital in the Leaf village. But how did he get here? The last thing he remembers is being caught in the explosion with you.

"I see you're finally up, Kakashi."

Kakashi sat up and looked beside him to find Asuma and Gai sitting beside the bed.

"Asuma, Gai, what the hell happened? Where's (Name)? Is she safe?" They both looked at each other, then looked back to Kakashi.

"Kakashi, we only found you in the crater caused by the explosion. There was no sign of (Name) at all. Whether she's dead or not is beyond us." Asuma said while looking at Kakashi with a serious expression. Gai was frowning and clenching his fist, trying his best not to look at Kakashi. But he couldn't help himself.

"It's happening again... I should have never fought her. I even used lighting blade against her, my own jutsu took the life of someone I hold dear to me yet again. Why does everyone I love or care about die... what's wrong with me." Kakashi said, tears falling from his eyes as he trembles. Gai immediately gave Kakashi a hug.

"Come on, Kakashi! You're stronger than this! I, for one, don't think she's dead at all! So don't cry Kakashi, she's alive! (Name) hasn't given up just yet on her journey throughout the springtime of youth! Give her credit, she's just as strong as you! Believe in her." Gai said, trying to smile to Kakashi as he also cries.

Asuma then walks to the other side of the bed and places his hand on Kakashi's shoulder.

"I agree with Gai. I don't know her personally, but if she's someone you're fond of then she must be strong. Physically and mentally. She's alive, just ask yourself. Your hunches are always right, or am I wrong about that?" Asuma said while giving Kakashi a soft smile.

Kakashi then wiped away his tears and regained his composure. He was just panicking and overthinking the situation. Once he took in the possibility of you being alive, he sighed in relief.

"You guys are right. She's most likely alive, but she's gone now. It won't be easy to find her, but then again I have a feeling she'll come back to me. I just hope she's still the same (Name) I know."

"Right! You just need to have a positive mind about the situation! And it's not like everything of her is gone. You still have her younger brother around! They're probably one and the same!" Gai says while grinning, hoping what he said would cheer Kakashi up. But it only made him feel worse.

"I couldn't keep my promise to bring (Name) back. He's gonna be so upset when he finds out. I really don't want to see him cry." Kakashi said while covering his face. Asuma and Gai exchange looks one more time and laughed. Kakashi was confused.

"What's so funny?" Kakashi looked at the two.

"Well, you were out for three days and your most popular visitor, other than myself, was the little brother. He's so energetic, he literally spent those three days here after classes. I admire his youth!" Gai says while laughing.

Then the door slides open, and Naruto walks in with a bag full of books from his classes while eating instant ramen. He pauses as he notices the three men in the room, while in the middle of swallowing ramen. Naruto eats it in a heartbeat, puts his ramen down on a table and jumps on Kakashi.

"Baka! Baka! Baka! You promised you'd be okay!" Naruto said while crying into Kakashi's chest. Kakashi was surprised he was upset about his well being than his own sister. He hugged Naruto and ruffled his hair.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you worry. And... I'm sorry I wasn't able to bring (Name) back, but that doesn't mean I won't stop looking for her. I'll keep my promise to you and her." Kakashi said while wiping tears away from Naruto's face.

"That's okay, but next time I can go with you! Or help out in any way I can to find Nee-chan. Then I'll beat her into a bloody pulp for leaving!" Naruto said, frowning with his fist up, which had a vein popping out of it. Kakashi laughed, he was so relieved that Naruto didn't react the way he thought he did.

"Never change, okay?" Kakashi then placed his hand on Naruto's head and smiled at him. Naruto had a wide grin. "Alright!"

~ (Name) POV ~

You slowly wake up and feel a wet towel on your forehead. You grabbed it then sat up to see where you were. It was a cave and you were by yourself covered in bandages, still in your torn clothes from your fight with Kakashi. Then it hit you.

"Kakashi! Oh no... I fought with him, it's my fault. But what happened to him and where am I?" You thought as you stood up, trying to keep your balance. You then felt your strength weaken in your legs and was about to fall until you felt someone's hand grab your waist. You looked behind you to see Obito.

"You shouldn't be up, you were in pretty bad shape when I found you. Burns, cuts, broken bones, and not to mention you reopened the wound in your stomach. Lucky for you, I brought you here and treated your wounds." Obito says as he lays you back down on the bed. You winced in pain.

"What happened to Kakashi..." you said, afraid of how Obito would react to the question. All he did was sigh and sit next to you on the bed.

"I found both of you unconscious, severely injured. I didn't finish Kakashi off because treating you was more important than killing off that hindrance. So if there is a chance he's still alive, he most likely is." Obito said while taking off his cloak and mask.

"Oh, I see." You looked away so Obito wouldn't see the relief on your face.

"But we managed to get away without leaving any hints about our whereabouts. Now, all we need to do is to wait until you're fully healed so you can join the organization that's being formed." Obito says while replacing the bandages on your arms with new ones.

"Why do you need someone like me to join? I'm not strong or very skilled."

"No, you aren't, not the way you are now. But you can be with the proper training. I can help you control your new found strength, that is if you want me to. Completely your choice." Obito said, stopping what he was doing to look at you and hear your answer.

"Alright, I just hope I don't disappoint you because you overestimated me." Obito sighed as he finished replacing the bandages on your arms.

"Everyone starts off weak, you just need to work hard and train to become stronger."

"Okay." you gave Obito a soft smile. His eyes widened and he looked away from you, a blush appearing on his face. You knew you could use the soft spot Obito has for you to your advantage. But it might take you a long time to uncover any and all secrets. This was your first undercover mission and failing isn't an option.

- FLASHBACK -
(Afternoon of the Night you argued with Kakashi)

~Secret meeting room~

"I'm sorry I have kept all this information from you, you were still young and I wanted you to grow a bit more mature so you could be ready to take the secrets head on" Lord third said, sitting next to the other two elders.

You were reading a file that contained every single detail about the part of your life you couldn't remember. From your origin story, to when you lost your adoptive parents and lost your memory. Slowly, everything made sense and started to come back to you. "I knew there was a logical reason to why you kept this from me. If I knew about this when I was younger, who knows what I'd be like today."

"We are glad you took on this situation with a clear mind, child. But now that only leaves the problem of the mysterious organization trying to recruit you." The lady elder said.

"Indeed, you have shown enough intelligence and skill to handle messy situations with calmness instead of acting off of wild emotions. For that, I want to promote you to become a part of the Anbu and investigate this organization as your first mission." Lord third said while handing you a Tiger-faced Anbu mask. You bowed and accepted the mask. It suited your new form perfectly.

"I accept this offer and mission. Thank you, I promise I won't fail you, Lord Hokage." You said while giving off the signature grin you and Naruto share. "Is there a specific time period for the mission?"

"A minimum of 5 years. We need as much information as we get." The male elder said, earning a shocked expression from you.

"5 years?! What about Naruto? Who will take care of him? And Kakashi he won't stand for this-"

"Kakashi and the others will not know about this mission. It is highly top-secret! If anyone else knew then you'd be in danger and that organization will know that we know of its existence and go hidden. We cannot risk any of that. As for Naruto, I will personally make sure he is accounted for. We will provide rent for your apartment, monthly loans of money until Naruto becomes a genin and starts missions, and I'll make sure Iruka watches over him from time to time." Lord third said, cutting you off and answering all your questions.

You exhaled. "Naruto won't be lonely, Kakashi will also watch over him." You thought.

"So how will I leave the village without anyone growing suspicious about my whereabouts?"

"You'll have to go rogue, it's the only way we can think of that will allow you to get close to the organization. As for Kakashi, you'll have to convince him that you're going rogue. Without telling him what has occurred here today." Lord third replied, seriousness in the tone of his voice.

"...Understood."

- END OF FLASHBACK -

"(Name)?!" Obito yelled while shaking you.

"I'm sorry what?" You said, a bit dizzy.

"I asked if you wanted anything to eat so then I could go out and buy some food in a nearby village."

"Ramen!"

~~ Next day with Kakashi ~~

Kakashi was out of bed in the hospital and doing push-ups on the floor. While Naruto, who was next to him, struggled to do five push-ups next to him. Kakashi chuckled at his effort.

"You're out of shape. You need to eat healthier, eating ramen all the time won't help in making you stronger" Naruto fell to the ground in exhaustion.

"I'll keep training *huff* give me *huff* a couple of weeks."

As Kakashi gets up to grab a towel to wipe away the sweat from his face, Lord third knocks and enters the room.

"Naruto, shouldn't you be on your way to the Academy?" Lord third smiles and laughs.

"Hey, shut up old man! I was only getting a morning workout with Bakashi before I head out!"

"So I go from Spiky Baka, to Kakashi, to only go back down to Bakashi?" Kakashi said while sweatdropping.

Naruto laughs then waves goodbye as he leaves out the door.

"Quite the energetic one isn't he?" Lord third laughed as he sat down in a chair.

"He's a special kid, I'll give you that. He's got guts, energy, and spirit. But he can sure be a pain at times." Kakashi says while sitting down across from Lord third, giving him a closed eye smile.

"Just like (Name)." Lord third said causing Kakashi's smile to fade away.

"Look, I know I failed in bringing her back, but I won't fail again-"

"I forbid you from going after her anymore." Lord third said while giving Kakashi a serious and straightforward face.

"Why?! You said it yourself that we need to go after her! That she's a part of this village and is precious! That Naruto needs her! So why are you changing your opinion now?!" Kakashi said while standing up, himself being a bit angry.

"Lower your voice Kakashi! The only reason I forbid it is because she stole secret scrolls that contained forbidden jutsu and left the village with them as an offering to that organization she just joined. If you bring her back now, she'll only be given a death or life sentence in prison. And I know that's the last thing you need to think about right now." Lord third lied, but he needed Kakashi to stay in the village.

Kakashi had remembered your crying face from the inside of the explosion. There was no way you were doing this on your own accord. Kakashi truly believed that with all his heart, but he knew others wouldn't think the same as he did. He sighed then sat back down, leaning back against the chair and looking up towards the ceiling.

"I know it's hard but you'll just have to endure it. Just continue on with your life and watch over Naruto for her. That's the best thing you can do for her now." Lord third got up, placed his hand on Kakashi's shoulder, then left leaving Kakashi all alone.

"I won't give up on you. I may not be able to look for you now, but if ever run into you in the future, you better believe I'm dragging you back home. I'll always love you, (Name)."

A/N: yeah you heard me there are seasons to this book. So that means there are multiple seasons and chapters coming your way! Just because it's the end of Season one doesn't mean I'm gonna take a break from writing and updating new chapters. If you thought so then that's hilarious!
