Chapter 29:
"Are my tank tops over there?" I asked Niall while inspecting my dress selection.
"Yeah," Niall responded, "You have a lot of clothes."
I snorted. "Well, what do you expect? I'm going to the states for a month and a half. I need lots of clothes."
"You could wear a potato sack and still be beautiful," Niall declared while holding up a neon green tank top. His eyebrows scrunched up in amusement at it. "What the heck do you wear this with?"
"Uh, well, you know, uh, if I feel like glowing.." I stuttered before laughing. "I've actually never worn that before. That I can remember, anyways. So not in the past four months."
"Wow, it has been four months hasn't it?" Niall asked incredulously, flopping down on my unmade bed.
"Yes, indeed. Kind of crazy, to be honest. Hey, pass me the shoes by your hand!" I pointed wildly beside him. He grabbed them and tossed them towards me.
"It's a good thing your clothes came in time," Niall commented, lazily laying across my bed and watching me pack.
"Thank goodness mum used express," I grinned as I folded a navy blue dress.
"Let's go get food or something," Niall sat up, excitement fled across his features. He started bouncing up and down, hands clasped together as he begged.
"How about no.. Lou has some leftovers in the refrigerator. I have to finish packing. Have you finished packing already?" I inquired, full well knowing he hadn't even started.
"I'm a guy," Niall said as if it was obvious, "I'll just throw a ton of stuff in bags the night before and I'll be good."
"Then on tour you'll realize you forgot things and you'll spend a lot of money on buying those things," I edited his sentence a bit, letting a smirk appear on my face.
"You can pack for me," Niall suggested. "After we go get food."
"How are you not fat? All you eat is fast food!" I teased, packing in my three swimsuits. I pushed them in, trying to compress space.
Three suitcases for a month and a half of touring? Didn't seem like enough, especially for a teenage girl.
"I do not! You made dinner the other night, I made spaghetti three nights ago.. You know what? Let's get Lou to drive us to Tesco, I'll grab some supplies and I'll make dinner tonight. Deal?" Niall offered.
"I'm not one to turn down food, so let's go!" I grabbed a jacket from one of the piles of clothes, shrugging it onto my shoulders and hightailing it out the door.
"You're so strange!" Niall called out after me.
"What are you two up too? Is it something your big brother would disapprove of?" Louis yelled, eyeing us from the living room with Juliet on the couch.
"We were up to absolutely nothing, other than shoving clothes unceremoniously into bags," I rolled my eyes at Lou.
"Leave them alone, Lou," Jules slapped his shoulder.
"Thanks, babe." Louis glared, quite mockingly, at the blonde.
Niall leaned over so his mouth was tickling my ear and murmured quietly into it. "We need to convince Louis to drive us."
"Dearest, darlingest.. Oops, that's not a word. Anyways. Dearest, loveliest, awesomest, most brilliant, hilarious brother in the whole entire world! Thank you for being in my life, without you I'd be nothing!" I declared, collapsing beside him on the couch. I immediately changed my facial features, eyes going wide and a lips pouting. I looked up to Louis, practically begging.
"What do you want?" Said Louis, who was quite obviously already weary of my request.
"Can you drive Ni and I to Tesco? He'll make you dinner," I continued to beg.
"Fine, let's go," Louis gave in, struggling to stand up. I hopped up beside him before squeezing him into a hug.
"You're the best!"
"I know," Louis responded as he pocketed his keys. He then herded Niall, Juliet and I out to the car.
"Let me just say now, I'm frightened for all the workers at Tesco," Juliet announced with a laugh as we all squeezed into Louis' car. Which was totally not meant for four people.

"BROOK! I know you're in here somewhere!" A quite familiar voice was yelling across the grocery store and I almost laughed. Almost.
"Over here!" I yelled back, Niall entwining our fingers and tugging me towards the voice.
"There you are! Okay, tell Juliet that we need two cases of beer." Louis motioned for me to tell the cross-armed, hazel-eyed girl.
"I'm going to say no. You already have a case at home and we're leaving in literally two days. I don't think you even need one. You just like spending money," I pointed out with a wink towards Juliet.
"You know what? Fine. I'm going to go get plane snacks," Lou huffed before practically stalking off.
"Thanks, babe. The boy is crazy," Juliet sighed, although there was adoration laced in her voice.
"You better go make sure he doesn't grab all of the candy," I advised her. A look of fear flashed through her eyes before she scurried off, calling wildly for her boyfriend.
"God help the two of them," my boyfriend shook his head while laughing.
"I love them," I replied.
"Okay, we need chicken breasts, bread crumbs, eggs and whatever else you want for dinner." Niall announced, tugging me into another aisle.

Incoming Call: JoshThePosh
I stared at my phone for a few seconds, arguing with myself before pressing end.
"You okay?" Louis asked, noticing my focused expression.
"Yeah, fine," I replied distractedly.
"You just ignored a call," Louis pointed out.
I groaned, "Why are you choosing now to be observant?"
"Tell me what's wrong," Louis demanded, flicking the TV remote to silence it and turning to me with arms crossed. "Niall's at home, Juliet is taking a nap. Now explain what's wrong."
"Nothing is wrong, I just think it's best if I don't talk to Josh for a while. Seriously, I'm fine. Un-mute the TV."
"Just promise you'll talk to me if something happens. I don't want to have to resort to when you were thirteen and I had to read your journal to find out why you were in a bad mood," Louis smirked, turning the TV up.
"You did WHAT?" I gasped, before starting to smack his arm repetitively. He grinned while grabbing a pillow to protect himself from my endless punches.
"I was kidding! I never read your journal, I was kidding!" He chuckled as I crossed my arms and huffed.
"You better not have, you scared me." I leant back, arms still crossed and eyes focused on the TV.
"If only James had asked you out, your life would have been so perfect." Louis said offhandedly with a barely suppressed grin.
"You jerk!" I yelped, going back to smacking him. I was interrupted by my phone ringing.
Incoming Call: The Nile River(;
"Hello?"
"Hey, love. Just letting you know to not make plans tomorrow. I'm taking you out and I'll pick you up around forty thirty. Don't eat beforehand and dress formal but not too formal. I'll see you tomorrow, love you!" Niall said quickly before hanging up.
"Well that was interesting," I commented as I looked at the ended call.
"What happened?" Louis asked immediately.
"Just to let you know, I'm going out with Niall tomorrow." I stated.
