As I try to look look at the world in a light

I wonder if what I'm doing is right

No one ever gave me a chance before

Trapped in darkness, behind a closed door

I honestly want to do good

But I wonder why I never could

If I could find one to trust

Who didn't view me with disgust

Could you be that friend?

Or are you another dead end?

I guess time will tell

Will you pick me up, if I feel

I hope I can be true to you

The ones I am close to are far to few

We don't know what the future will be

It's day by day, I guess we'll see

What tomorrow brings I am unsure

But know my intentions are pure

Then, without fear, with no strings

We see what tomorrow will bring
