Chapter Four

*Chris - Point of View*

"Smith! Ross! Hurry up!" I playfully shouted, placing my suitcase under the bus neatly before being directed onto the bus.

"We're coming wait up!" Ross smiled, messily throwing in his stuff, running up beside me. Alex followed suit, chucking his stuff into the undercarriage, dodging through families to meet up with us. Ross pushed me up onto the empty bus; not having to say goodbye to your family had its privileges, leaving us to pick and choose the prime seating for the 3 hour bus trip to the camp.

"These are all two seaters..." Alex complained as I walked forward, my hands brushing each of the seats as I walked by.

"How about the ones at the back? There are four there!" I pointed, a excited nod from behind me as we rushed impatiently to the seats.

"DIBS MIDDLE!" Alex squeezed by Ross, blocking him from taking his spot. Ross huffed in disappointment but agreed, taking his spot on the row side, Alex in the middle, and me with the window seat.

Soon more kids our age piled onto the bus, and everyone seemed to have their friends. The bus was soon filled with the life of speech; gossip and stories of what people hope to accomplish this summer racing around. The final teenager hopped on the bus, looking around for a spare seat. She didn't seem to have a friend, and she seemed to have a sense of nervousness to herself. She finally took a seat, next to Ross. Ross shuffled over a little closer to Alex, their knees grazing together as they took small breaths. The unknown child who sat beside Ross had short black hair, and warm brown eyes. She was considerably shorter than us, but we were all very tall; Alex himself almost 6'4". I saw Ross and Alex exchange a look between themselves, Ross seemed to have a sense of panic in his greyish blue eyes, nervous about the girl. Did Ross think she was attractive?

*Alex - Point of View*

"Hey!" I greeted over Ross, snaking my hand around to get my hand closer to the girl. "Names Alex." The girl looked over surprised and gave a shy smile, looking at my hand before extending hers to reach it.

"Kim." She whispered, her voice barely a whisper. She didn't make eye contact, but I didn't mind, she seemed very nervous.

"Nice to meet you, this is Ross-" I released the hand shake and Kim lifted her eyesight to get a quick look of Ross. "-and Chris." Kim looked over to Chris, who gave a small wave to the girl. She looked away to her hands, her thumbs fiddling together in a pattern.

"Nice to meet you guys." Kim said in a louder voice, but if we were in a louder area her voice would have disappeared with the constant murmur of everyday life.

"Nice to meet you too. Where you from?" Ross asked in the calm voice he uses when talking to children and animals. And it seemed to work on Kim too.

"I am from a few streets down to the east, near the skate park down there..." Kim pointed, sitting up straighter and her voice raised to the normal level of speaking.

"Really? We live down there too! Just two blocks from the skate park." Kim's eyes widened.

"Sit down!" The bus driver yelled as the vehicle fell in motion, the scenery outside the window slowly changing from the busy buildings of Bristol to the calming fields of the country. Kim, Ross, Chris and I continued conversation for the trip, exchanging information and discussing topics with little to no importance to Film Camp.

Kim had moved here to the UK from Malaysia five years ago, explaining her weak accent. She had been bullied at her last school, and she now went to the school we went too. She wanted to be a videogame and film reviewer. Her parents signed her up for camp, even against her pleas because they felt it would help her gain an understanding for film, helping her in her future job.

"I hate interacting with others, but you guys seem really nice. Everyone else has been kinda dicks." Chris choked on his water after hearing Kim swear for the first time after talking to her for 2 and a half hours. Kim gave Trott a worried look but he batted it away and she continued talking.

We finally arrived at the camp after 3 and a bit hours as a kid threw up on the way here, leading to an unhappy bus driver.

"Everyone get into groups of 2, that will be your buddy." Ross, Chris and I looked at each other quickly, panic arising that one of us was going to be split off.

"Hey Alex?" I looked down beside me and saw Kim, poking at my lower arm to help gain my attention. "Want to be my partner?" I sighed internally, but I guess being with Kim was way better than being stuck with a random stranger.

"Sure Kim, I would love too." I smiled down, resting my hand on her shoulder. She blushed up at me but I shrugged it off. We walked over to the coach who had just dealt with another group, scribbling down who was who's partner.

"Hello, what can I help you with?" The lady asked, peering up at me from behind her sunglasses.

"Me and Kim wanted to be partners." I said simply. She looked down at Kim and shook her head.

"You have to be the same gender." I looked over at Kim who looked devastated, and thought.

"What if I told you I wasn't interested in Kim." The lady looked at me suspiciously. "I'm gay." I stated, loud enough for only her and Kim to hear. The woman sighed and looked down at her list; evaluating her options.

"Fine." She finally broke, scribbling our names down beside each other.

"Thanks." I sighed, walking away with a shocked Kim in tow.

"Alex-" I felt a hand hold onto my arm, twisting me around. It was Kim. "-are you really... Gay?" She whispered, looking around like someone was watching us.

"That doesn't matter. Just don't tell anyone I said that." Kim nodded in understandment as we went to go collect our bags and head to the cabin we were staying in for the week of camp.

*Ross - Point of View*

I have to share a room with Chris. Now, this isn't a terrible thing at all: Chris is my best friend. I am just hoping that my body doesn't get excited by itself by just being around the boy. It had been over two weeks now that I have had a fancy for my two best friends; and as time went on everything made me feel more... Guilty. I felt dirty whenever I thought of touching their bodies, a moan slipping from my lips as I sat in the quiet dark of my room. A blush would rush to my cheeks thinking of the (impossible) idea that they liked me back. And in a few horrifying moments when I would wake up with a smile on my face after a satisfying dream about the three of us only to be interrupted by the tent I had pitched sometime in the night. And now part of the cause was sleeping a mere meter away, his warmth radiating through the bed above me.

"Ross..." I shuffled over, facing the bed above me.

"Yeah?" I whispered back to who could only be Chris as it was only us in the cabin.

"I feel homesick." I sighed a chuckle. Even at the 'tender' age of 17 Chris was homesick.

"Okay? What do you want me to do?" I asked. There was a pause.

"...can I come and sleep with you?" Chris seemed hesitant on asking, and he seemed to stop breathing as the room became deathly quiet. Do I let Chris do this? Or is this too much for my hormonal teenage body?

"Sure. Come on down." My voice wavered as I said so, my mind racing with thoughts. Chris jumped down, and climbed into bed, his bare legs cold as they touched mine. It wasn't a large bed; a twin at most. So me and Trott were unbearably close. Chris moved into a comfortable position, his body rubbing against my groin. I bit back a moan in pleasure, trying to prohibit my body from grinding against Chris again.

"Are you okay?" Chris asked. I guess I didn't hide my moan well enough.

"Yeah. Your legs are cold." I told, partially truthful. His legs felt like ice.

"Sorry."

"It's fine. Now sleep." Chris nodded his head and his breathing slowed, falling asleep in a few short minutes. My brain however was still racing, so I knew it would be a while till I slept. I took a deep breath, the scent of Trott harassing my nostrils. It smelt of lavender; he must have used his Mum's shampoo again. He also smelt of his cologne, it was stronger at this close proximity; smelling of a deep husky wood, and sweat. I closed my eyes, thinking about how the Chris would acquire the scent. I imagined him running through the forest, axe in hand as he dodged past broken branches. It had just rained, the smell of the forest deep and senseful. Chris' hair was dripping wet; his checkered shirt clinging to his body. A moan again slipped from my lips as Chris shuffled in his sleep, mumbling in sleep. "Fuck." I whispered, running my hand through my limp hair. This was the worse idea I had had in awhile. But if it made Chris feel better, it was fine by me.

"Ross, wake the fuck up mate." Chris spoke, poking my face with what I hope was his finger. I opened my eyes and groaned groggily. The light from the open window shone into my eyes, causing me to squint and cover the area with my hands. Chris stood in the way of the light and threw some clothes at me, sending me back into darkness. "Get dressed, we have stuff to do. We might have to pick a bigger group and we want to be with Alex and Kim. And you know what will happen if we leave them." Chris was right, if we didn't arrive in time and they started getting into groups someone was guarantied to ask Smith, and Alex is too kind to let the offer down. I sat up and slid on the t-shirt Chris had given me. A fairly tight fitting black short sleeve and some blue jeans. I hopped up and looked at my passing self in the mirror. The room we are in is small, consisting of a single bunk-bed, a mirror with a sink, and then a small room with a toilet in. I slide on some shoes and brushed my hand through my hair, pushing it back.

"Ready?" Chris questions, brushing past my arm to get to the door, opening it and letting the warm breeze inside. I nodded and we walked out into the light, closing the door behind us. Immediately we spotted Alex and Kim, walking towards the small meeting area in the center of the camp, a small fireplace and a few odd benches scattered around. I jogged over, and I could hear Chris' steady footsteps keep at my pace as we reached the two.

"Hey Alex, Kim." I greeted, slowing down from the jog to a walk.

"Your breath smells like dick." Alex remarked, crossing his arms giving a cheeky grin.

"Your one to speak-" I returned as Chris walked up behind me. "-because you can never keep your hands off me. Constantly gumming on my huge dong." Alex chuckled as Chris seemed to figure out what we were discussing.

"Yeah I don't know Ross, because you seem to want it just as much as him. I am constantly having to pull you off of eachother."

"Because you wish you had the attention Chris." Alex winked, blowing a kiss towards Trott. Kim looked utterly confused.

"Are you all dating each other?" She asked, stopping our little giggles and turning us a right red.

"No." Alex stated, seeming shocked.

"But I thought maybe if you were gay, they were..." Kim droned off as Alex gave her a glare, before aggressively sighing and walking away. "Alex-" Chris stopped her by placing his hand on her shoulder. Kim sighed and looked down at the loose gravel beneath her feet. "I didn't mean to tell you guys. I thought you knew..."

"He told us about three weeks ago, but we were drinking so we didn't believe him. I guess he wasn't lying though." I admitted. "I'm going to go talk to him."

*Alex - Point of View*

I couldn't be mad at Kim, I had told Ross and Chris a few weeks ago, and if they didn't believe me that was their choice. I was more upset because of the idea that rushed through my head. Now that they had established I was in fact gay, could I still make the dirty jokes I always did? Or was I now going to have to become a lot more, well to put it simply: not myself.

"Alex?" I turned around, looking for the source of the noise.

"Hey Ross..." I breathed, rubbing my hand through my unstyled hair. Ross walked up beside me, licking his lips in habit. It drove me mad.

"It's okay that you're gay you know." Ross sighed, kicking a large pebble in the rough path. "I have something to tell you actually..." I hummed in question. "I am bi." I looked up shocked a little, but when I saw how nervous Ross seemed to be I smiled warmly, giving Ross a hug.

"How long have you known?" I questioned, not leaving the hug.

"For about two weeks..." Ross whispered, and if my ear were not near his mouth I would have missed it. I blushed as I put the dates together. 'About two weeks' was when I kissed him for the first time. Did Ross like me back? Ross quickly released the hug, moving back. He scratched the back of his head. "Well if you are ready, Kim would like to apologize." Ross mumbled, looking up at me.

"Yeah sure. Let's go." As we walked away I debated grabbing a hold of his hand; but I thought it was best not to. It might be too early.
