Kristof stood on the wall, looking out onto the horizon. He didn't see anything out of the ordinary, but he still felt like he was being watched. It had been two days since Roy and Katherine ha been attacked. Once again, the Old World Gods had went silent, and it was driving Kristof nuts.
He was so concentrated on looking out into the forest, that he about fell off the other end of the wall, as a large winged reptile flew over him, it's metallic orange/gold scales reflecting the suns light. The Dragon chuckled, and then landed on the wall, setting its wings down.
Levi, along with three other people slid down the reptiles wings, carefully helping each other up. When they were all off, the dragons bones crunched, and the creature grew smaller, until it formed a human, complete with a brown hair, a scarf, and a thick jacket. "Holy crud I hate the weather here," the now human said while chuckling. He could his hands together, and breathing into them, a small burst of Orange flames came. He rubbed his hands together, shivering. "I don't know how you can all handle this."
"How many people did you find?", Kristof asked.
"You mean how many did I find?", the Dragon shifter said. "And calm down, explain to, and finally convince we weren't there to rip off their faces? Well, we found a another city, and a few people living in the forest. Both decided to send some people to check this place out."
"This is Lee," Levi said, motioning to a tall thin young man, with medium sized black hair. "He lives in a small village a few miles away from here. Pretty similar to ours." Levi then motioned to two others. "And this is Mashi and Aiko, twins from a large city."
Kristof waved hello. "Dang, I wasn't expecting us to find anyone else this soon. Huh
Are they having any of the problems we are?"
The Dragon shifter nodded. "Worse actually. The Old World Gods have been tearing up their places. That's partially why these guys came. We all need help at this point."
Kristof nodded again. "Thanks Dan, you can go take a brake. I'll give them a tour of the city."
Dan leaped off the edge of the wall, and in the next instant, he turned back into a dragon, flapping his scaling his wings and sailing off into the city.
"What would you like me to do?", Levi asked, coughing to get Kristof's attention.
He shrugged, waving for their three guests to come with him. "Do what you want guy."
Levi strided after them. "I'm gonna go with all of you. I need something to do, and standing still isn't what I would have in mind."

Sorry this was a short chapter, but it was an important chapter too, because it introduced four new characters. Dan the Dragon shifter is a character of my own creation, Lee is an OC made by Hangola, and Mashi and Aiko are both OCs made by Sashathewriter.
