Chapter Thirtythree

Olivia ran after Levi, panting.  "Come on dude!  Slow down!!  PLEASE?!?!?!"
Levi stopped striding, and Olivia crashed right into him with a thud.  As she fell to the ground, he stood, looking around at everyone.  Various supplies were about to be transported back to the village along with everyone traveling there, and even though there were a dozen people keeping track of everything, he didn't fully trust them to do their jobs right, so he was watching closely.
Turning around and seeing Olivia, he helped her up, his face blank.  "You need to watch what's in front of you.  You could have broken your nose."
"Ya, thanks for asking if I was okay," she joked.  "What is everyone doing?  You look like your all going somewhere."
Seeing Dan carrying three crates at once while shivering from the "cold", Levi tapped him on the shoulder and took two of them.  "It has been decided that our presence in the city is endangering the inhabitants.  We're all getting ready to move back to the village, where we'll plan out how we're going to stop the Old World Gods."
Olivia's eyes widened.  "I can come too right?  I don't want to miss any action you know."
"Of course," he said, dropping the crates into the back of a truck.  "There is a great chance that The Old World Gods will try and catch some of us on our journey to the village, and we don't have any teleportation magic at the moment.  We will need all the battle experienced beings as possible."
Olivia shivered.  "How are we supposed to beat them?"
Levi starred at her, his blue glowing eyes unblinking.  "Are you scared?"
This made her laugh.  "Of course I'm scared!  I'd be an idiot not to be.  But I'm also excited.  It's not everyday that you ACTUALLY have to save the universe."
"I will be driving a vehicle with Roy and your sister.  You could come to if you wish."
"Awww, is that your way of being nice?" She asked, punching him in the shoulder.  All Levi did was climb into the drivers seat and close the door, putting on the seatbelt.  Olivia quickly climbed into the passenger side, laughing to herself.  As the engine of the truck started, Roy and Katherine climbed in the back, each not only having their usual weapons, but also a large shotgun like firearm as well.
There was a creaking noise as the large gate into the city opened.  Slowly, the line of armored trucks drove forward, leaving the walled city behind.  As the vehicles drove on, the afternoon Sun shined down, casting shadows on the ground beside the forest to either side of the path the vehicles path the trucks had taken.  Levi looked out the window, taking note of the speed everyone was going, the type of ground they were going over, the speed of the wind, and the noise.
Levi tightened his grip on the steering wheel, and he adjusted the rear view mirror.  Behind them, there were a dozen other trucks, and in the back, Katherine and Roy were doing rock paper scissors.  The Golem noted that Roy beat Olivia most of the time, which seemed to make her mad, but that whenever she one, she made it her number one priority to point it out.
The minutes dragged on until the line of trucks had been driving for several hours.  The forest thinned out here, which gave Levi a view of the land.  .........Something doesn't seem right...  Levi looked around, searching for anything out of the ordinary.
"Levi?  Levi?  LEVI?!?!?!", Olivia tried and failed to shake the Golem.  "What is it?  You face looks twice as blank as usual.  Levi?"
"Take the wheel.  Don't change the speed of the vehicle," he said.  Before she could respond, he opened the door and jumped on to the top of the truck, leaving Olivia to yelp and stumble to the other side of the vehicle to drive.  Levi continued to look around, restless.  I believe this is a feeling of......  Dread...  I don't like it.
"Hey Levi, what's going on?  You're spinning around so much it's starting to make me dizzy," Katherine said, climbing up to talk to the Golem.
"Something isn't right.  But I don't see anything...  Keep the firearms ready."
"Do you want a shotgun thing too?", she asked, going to th  back of the truck again as Roy checked the crates.
"Two please.  Two hands means two shotguns."
