John POV

I KNOW WHAT WERE GONNA DO TODAY

Eliza's POV

I was folding napkins with Rachel and Angelica when we heard John's voice from upstairs. "I KNOW WHAT IM GONNA DO TODAY"

Angie and Rachel exchanged a knowing smirk while leaving ME in the dark. 

"What?" I asked not knowing what they were hiding.

"Ah to be innocent" Sighed Rachel as she walked out of the room.

"Mom! Ughh" Angie muttered. "nowihavetotellher"

"Tell me what?" I asked. 

"Nothing! Let's just take a break and go upstairs to change!" she said with a smile.

I don't get why I have to change? 

when we got to my room, Angie picked out my good dress that I usually don't use until church on Sundays. I gave her a very concerned look as i slipped behind the changing slidy door thing.

When I popped out there was a knock at the door and angie winked at me. 

IM SO CONFUSED WHAT IS HAPPENING

It was John. He looked nervous and sweaty. I hate seeing him so upset so I rushed to his side. "What's wrong, Jacky?" I asked rubbing his sholder.

"Nothing I was *gulp* just wondering if you wanted to go an a w-walk?" He paused. "Like right now" 

"Oh I didn't realize it was that urgent."

John POV

She hugged me and i ended up facing Angie who gave me snake eyes and did the pointy thing from her eyes to mine. I gave her a nervous thumbs up not knowing what else to do.

Was I really about to do this?

Yes I am 80% sure this is a good idea

ANYWAY

I decided to bring her to the ballroom where alexander and Angeilca got married and where eliza and I first met.

I hated it here. 

I mean it was a beautiful building and amazing structure  but every time i looked at the center of the stairs, i saw my Alex leaving, like mom. 

I glanced over at Eliza and saw that she was sadly looking at the alter but more at where we were sitting. "Hey remember how angry Peggy was When she saw us raise our hands" I forced a laugh but it sounded legit

Eliza POV

No it did not 

John POV

I took another glimpse at liza and saw how happy she was 'whoo'ing and twirling around the ballroom. I loved the way her gown puffed up like a tea cup. I honestly couldn't ask for a more perfect girlfriend.

I really do love her.

"You look gorgeous"

She blushed furiously then tried to collect herself. "Where is this coming from?"

"Uh my heart?" she giggles and playfully pushed my arm.

"But seriously, Liza, I've never been so helpless as i am with you" i lied flawlessly. SHe gives me butterflies and makes me happy but, i've been more helpless once before.. "I really don't know what i did to deserve you. I would love to- no i would be honored if- i mean - i just-" 

She cut me off with a high piched skweek (like from take a break) and jumped at me. she wrapped her arms around my neck and i spun her. our footsteps echoed on the empty ballroom floor.

We eventually stopped spinning and she had the biggest grin on her face.

"How did you even know what I was gonna ask you."

"Well I guess you have a good point but you were taking too long so-" she grabbed the ring box from behind my back and scurried away giggling.

What am I even debating? This girl is perfect.

She tuned around and had tied her hair in front of her face like a mustache. Then in a dramatically low voice asked, "Eliza Schuyler, will you marry me"

I stiffed a laugh and replied in a very high-pitched voice, "Oh my gosh jacky I thought you would never ask!" while frantically fanning my face with my hand.

We went into giggle fits and eventually ended up on the floor. The sun shown through the marble pillars from the windows just beond. It hit my Fiance's face perfectly and her smile lit up her face even more.

"This is gonna be an adventure" I said.

"I'd go on a million with you before breakfast"

im excited for the next chapter and im so sorry this one took so long but im listening to If I could tell her rn so its impossible to feel that bad. trust me i do. 

I love all of you guys and im sorry if this sucked but it was fluff so get ready for the next chapter to be *ahem* not as fluffly.
