"Avni" Neil gasped a little not been able to take it all in a single go. He hold her close to heart in fears that she may vanish in air again. Her grab was no lesser. Both were in fear that once they leave they may vanish. Neil's tears were dipping avni's skin beneath the layers of cloth making her conscious.

"No Neil. You should not become guilty. That's not for what I have come all long for. We should stay strong. For us for our family and for this tiny creature inside me" Avni spoke keeping her hands on her belly.

Neil's eyes softened in the mere mention of the baby. He smiled while touching her belly. Avni we are pregnant he was whispering in tears while touching her belly. How I missed u champ he was murmuring something or other to their this new found happiness. A part of their love is soon goanna give its first breathe on this earth. Avni felt mixed jolt of emotions engulfing her while she moved closer to side hug Neil whereas his one hand was still care seeing her belly and other hand engulfing Avni to still more tighter hug.

"Now Neil. Call the commissioner sir and inform him the plan" Avni said which he did obediently. For the next two minutes Neil was continuing the order given by Avni with wide smile in his face as Avni was still staying close to her heart snuggling on his chest like the lost child returns to her home. After completing his work Neil took a look at Avni.

She was hugging him close to her while her eyes were closed to which he guessed that she might have slept off.. A slight shade of disappointment invaded his heart. But he didn't want her to take anymore strain. She needs rest. I can speak to her later also. Neil mentally assured himself before moving her to bed so that she can sleep comfortably. But when he tried to move her little to make her sleep comfortably she yelped spontaneously making him aware that she is still awake.

"Avni get up and sleep properly. U needs to take rest. We can speak about the rest tomorrow. It's already late." Neil mumbled slowly cooing her like a baby meanwhile this made Avni to open her eye wide enough to glare him.

"How badly I have craved to cuddle u to sleep all these days Neil. Kindly don't be a spoilsport" she mumbled slowly still frowning in-between indicating that she is clearly not appreciating his idea. She was behaving like a 5 year old child now to Neil. Which she does only to Neil, to her Neil.

"Ohkay....at least take off ur burka. I am not goanna run away." Neil chuckles while Avni breaks the hug to remove it as soon as possible. She was indeed feeling sweaty in the burka.

But her hand couldn't reach above her neck to which Neil helped her chuckling slowly seeing her struggling like a cute panda with big tummy.

"How many time a day u struggle like this." Neil asked confusingly as she was panting heavily for this small stunt itself. He noticed that she becomes tired so easily which make him worried as how she would have managed all alone for these months.

"Well I have a helper to stay with me. She sees to it while I struggle with this." Avni said with a small smile to Neil in an assuring way that she was not alone.

Neil nodded in disappointment. He was clearly sad for not been able to take care of her when she needed him the most.

Neil was resting on the headboard while Avni was over Neil and his hands were protectively taking care of her making her sleep comfortably. But one hand didn't leave her belly and he was constantly stroking her belly with misty eyes. They both were holding tears that they may spill out anytime. The incomplete feelings that were haunted them all these days without each other in their side made it more difficult for them.

"U know what Neil. It was exactly 1 month later I got this news. When I was in kashid with Tara sitara and sunehri along with mishti. After knowing I urged to meet u and whisper in Ur ears that we are pregnant. I badly craved to do that Neil. It took all my control to stop me and stay away from u Neil." Avni let out her tears doing its ministrations on his shirt while he gripped her tightly not being able to imagine her pain. That mere imagination manages to break him in yet thousands of pieces.

"I missed u in everything Neil. On my morning sickness, on scan room where they showed our baby, on midnight cravings where I sleep simply drinking water, and lastly on struggle to lie down which I am facing from the beginning of my third trimester. I missed u each and every passing seconds of my pregnancy Neil."

"I can't hear more Avni. I can't. The guilt is engulfing me at each word u are expressing."

"Shhhhhh.......no more arguments Neil. Its vidyut who messed up everything and kal usko hum swag sae swagat karenge." Avni said with rage filled eyes which Neil accepted silently. Neil thought that nothing can be done to the damage he has created.

"Ohkay......and then what happened Avni. Why didn't u show up all these days while u could have handover the evidences before itself?"

"Well Neil. At initial pregnancy stage doctor has asked me not to travel. Hence I couldn't be able to reach Mumbai. Later when I came to Mumbai I was 5 months pregnant Neil. I left mishti in kashid besides sunehri who was running an orphanage over there. I don't want that child to suffer in this war. And Waisae I can't put pardha to that small baby to hide her identity right. That's why. I noticed that vidyut was trying hard to escape from the punishment. That's why I hided because I don't want to make him yet more adamant in getting bail after seeing me in person. The case will breakdown and that may cause trouble to our family along with our baby Neil. That's why I waited. I waited for him to fall apart weak. And finally u pushed him behind bars and that caused 4 months. Then I came to meet u when finally all were done" Neil nodded at what she said.

"and I was living in the adjacent flat Neil. I used to watch u daily under my burkha. But"

"I never understood that it was u Avni. And that means u daily heard my voices to moon standing in Your balcony. That's why I always felt that I have been watched by someone constantly as soon as I step the balcony right."

Avni hummed slowly as she was slowly drifting into sleep. Neil was still engulfed with his thoughts as sleep was away from him now. He was mentally planning for the way to expose vidyut but not allowing Avni to meet him. He doesn't want all this to happen again.
