GEORGIA
We only have two months left of high school. We could figure the rest out as we go.
Alexis shakes her head slightly.
ALEXIS
I'm sorry, Georgia. I can't leave right now.
Georgia looks crushed as she turns back to the clothes.
FADE TO:
INT. GEORGIA'S HOUSE - NIGHT
The house is dim, shadowy, a stark contrast to the open airiness of the mall. The very walls seem to exude sorrow.
Georgia is eating dinner at a breakfast table in a small nook leading off of the kitchen. When she glances to her right, she has a clear view of the living room, where her father is watching a sports game on the TV.
