Y/N's POV

As she connected her hands with mine, an orange light flared up around us as unusual gusts of wind blew our hair everywhere. She closed her eyes and tried to see the face of the faceless, the unusually powerful. Her eyebrows screwed together as her eyeballs rolled around inside her closed lids.

"I see something.... But it's not clear." she said lightly, as she moved her closed eyes.

"What do you see?" I asked

"A university tower, it's like a castle, and some old guy in a suit wearing glasses standing with a shaman" something then clicked me.

"University tower? Are you talking about my university? It has a castle-like tower too. Is something going to happen in school again? Is someone going to die?"

"The shaman rings his bell and... and...."

"And what?" I asked as I got more and more curious and impatient.

"I see a guy, but I can't see his face, he seems uneasy at the sound of the bells, maybe he's an evil being"

"Someone in school is an evil being? Is it one of the guys?

"No, they're standing in the far side of the crowd. This is someone else"

"There's more of them? And that too in school?"

The expressions on her face intensify as she further screws her eyebrows and scrunches her eyes. Her hands get warmer and tighter around mine as she starts to chant something.

"He's standing not too far from you."

"Wait, I'm there too?"

"Yeah"

"What else do you see?"

"The shaman rings his bell and it starts to get louder and louder as he moves around the crowd. I can see that guy's ears turning blood red and something black can be seen on his back through his clothes. It seems as if he cannot conceal his powers and his true form is coming out."

Author's POV

Y/N goes all silent.

"He's getting very uneasy, his hands are in a fist but yet they are trembling... wait... he opened his fists and I can see black long claws in place of his nails. He slowly closed his fists again and the focus all went onto the shaman. His bell stopped ringing and put his hand inside his pouch and took out dried rose petals" Araminta continued.

"Why rose petals though?" Y/N asked out of curiosity.

"Because creatures so evil and powerful fear things so beautiful in this world"

"And what happened to that guy?"

The gusts of wind around them started to get stronger and stronger.

"He's trying to avoid getting in contact with the rose petals.... He's turning around and-"

Araminta stopped talking as she opened her eyes to see that the orange light around them had turned really purple. This was a sign that her powers have been conflicted and interrupted by an external type of force. Someone knew that they were about to be exposed and so they intercepted her powers so that she cannot see the face of that guy. She knew then and there that Y/N's life was going to be in serious danger.

~ A few moments before ~

Y/N's POV

I talked to Araminta over the phone and I told her that I found out about something. After talking to her over the phone, I saw V standing in the distance, he walked closer to me and asked,

"Who's Araminta? I'm sorry I didn't mean to eavesdrop on you but I heard you talking on the phone with someone and you seemed quite uneasy so I thought of asking you if you are okay."

"Yeah no I'm fine, don't worry about it. It's just that I think I got a little worked up, maybe because I ran too much and my heart feels weird." I mentally facepalmed myself for that excuse but he seemed to believe it.

"Oh my god, are you okay? Do you feel dizzy? Do you feel pain? Do you not feel well?" he asked as he put his hand on my forehead and another on his to check my temperature and boy did I turn red or what?

Wait. What am I thinking?

"No I'm ok, don't worry about it. Let's just go to class"

We walked together to our next class and spent the entire day together talking about our classes, our goals and future plans. I honestly felt as if all his words just came out for me. I KNOW. I'M GOING CRAZY. AND I DON'T KNOW WHY...

The rest of the day went quite quickly because of the silly fluttery thoughts in my head about Mr. YouKnowWho. ANYWAY...We got back home and V had to urgently leave for some things that he had to take care of and told me strictly to stay inside because I don't look very well which is clearly a lie because I've been thinking about how the people I actually trusted were die hard supernatural.

V's POV

I got a phone call which called me to meet HIM somewhere and so I clearly had no choice but to go there and take care of the things. This meant that Y/N would have to be at home alone which made me feel a little uneasy since she doesn't really look well and now I can't really work out what is wrong with her.

"Y/N, I'm going out for a bit so stay inside and if anything happens, if you feel sick or anything just call me ok?"

"Ok" she replied with a sweet and short ok.

I walked towards her to get my jacket and unknowingly I kissed her forehead before I suddenly realised and literally ran for my life. Why did I do that? It just happened, I didn't even think about it. GOD, WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME???!!!

Y/N's POV

Well that was weird,... and awkward. I then looked at the time, I better get going to meet Araminta. Even though he told me not to go out anywhere he won't notice that I'm out right? I'll be back before he's back and he won't even know about it.

I got ready, put my mask and hat on and called up Araminta telling her that I am on my way. I walked down the apartment and into the busy streets making my way to the supermarket where her hideout is. Going to the same cashier I tell her the secret code,

"Peaches and cream" and she replied to me

"Sweeter than sweet, chocolate cheeks and chocolate wings. You weren't supposed to take it off"

"I'm sorry" I asked her confused

"I said that you weren't supposed to take the bracelet off" she said as she looked at my bare wrist in which the bracelet once was on.

"I didn't take it off, it fell on its own" I said, the woman looked terrified

"As far as I know, that only happens when there is a really powerful evil being around you, so powerful and evil that it can burn anything that can harm them. Please do be careful dear" the woman said sincerely.

I replied with a short thank you before I headed my way to the back of the store to the hideout.

Walking my way through the enchanted path, my mind kept drifting back to V. It made me feel guilty that I left without telling him. I entered her room and sat down.

"You won't believe what happened today" I said as I started rumbling about the guys

"All the members of BTS are in the same group as J- Hope because they all had that same necklace as him and what's more shocking is that RM is the leader of that group, he has the same necklace as them but in the purple pink colour. They're all in this together. DO you think that they are close to me because they are keeping an eye on me?"

"That can only happen if you see something really unusual in them when they are around you"

"You mean like their necklace? That is an unusual thing"

"No you foolish girl. I mean something like their behaviour of them intentionally trying to hurt you, or even their eyes, if they look a lot darker or lighter than they actually are. That's what I mean"

"Oh, you could have been more comprehensive about it. Anyway, help me. You said that you can see things, then try to see the future and what happens around me so that I can save myself and the others around me. Please, you've got to do something."

"I can, but it might have some affect on you"

"Don't worry about me, I think I can handle it"

"Ok then, give me your hand"

~ Now Fast Forward to when Araminta has looked into the future ~

Author's POV

Someone knew that they were about to be exposed and so they intercepted her powers so that she cannot see the face of that guy. She knew then and there that Y/N's life was going to be in serious danger.

Araminta held onto Y/N's hands securely and says,

"Y/N, your life is in danger. It's not about the necklace anymore. Your life is in danger and the guy is someone who is close to you and has a close eye on you, watching your every move, every step, and every breath."

All the over thinking and pressure on Y/N caused her to pass out. After a while, Y/N goes back to the apartment thinking over and over again about the guy and her life being in danger and she knows for sure that walking alone right now is also a bad idea. She knew that they were after the necklace but now it's for her life. This is now not only the battle of truth, this is also the battle of survival.

Y/N's POV

I got into the apartment building and into the elevator. Making my way to the apartment, I opened the door and there stood someone who made me nervous.

"Where have you been when I clearly remember telling you to stay home?" V said in an annoyed tone which left Y/N confused.

"I just went around for a little walk, I was just around the block"

"Really now, I didn't see you around" he said in a mocky tone which made Y/N absolutely frustrated.

"Why do you even care? It's not like you like me or I am someone very important to you!"

V then walked up to me and put his lips on mine. I stood there very still and was shocked. I don't know why but I felt a rushing wave of warmth heating up her body and face.

"I hope this answered your questions and if you still don't get it, then I Love You and you are someone really important to me" he said as he looked at me for a while before flicking his finger on my forehead and everything started to go back in time.

I opened my eyes and I found myself in Araminta's hideout. Wow, I had passed out and all the things that I saw were all a dream?

"You know, if I were you I would have kissed him back"

I turned my head towards her in shock,

"What? Don't tell me you saw my dream. Privacy is also a thing in this world and I believe in every other world. And how old do you think you are?"

"I didn't look into your dream... well I did but I didn't see his face that's all and to answer your second question, I am actually two years older than you"

"Well, thanks for everything and I'll call you when I find out anything else about the guys"

I walked my way back to the apartment and realised that V was already back at the apartment before me.

V's POV

I got back to the apartment after meeting HIM and found that Y/N was gone. She wasn't in the apartment. His words rang in my head,

"Watch out for who you protect and where you go, take care of your little girlfriend, it's not like I'm gonna make her disappear..."

Instant flushes of knots started to form in my stomach as worry overtook me. Where is she? Is she safe?

He tried to call her and heard her phone ringing outside of the apartment. I got a sense of instant relief before starting to act all cold towards her.

Author's POV

Y/N opened the door and there stood someone who made her nervous.

"Where have you been when I clearly remember telling you to stay home?" V said in an annoyed tone. She then remembered that this was exactly how her dream was like.

"Well, I was taking some fresh air because I felt kind of claustrophobic." He said nothing but stared at her from a distance before he walked up to her and hugged her. Which was not what she saw in her dream and yet she had put her hand over her mouth JUUUUST in case.

'What Am I To You?' she thought to herself.
