When Thawne returned to his time period, he immediately made his way to the command center, only to find it in ruins.

"No." Thawne said as he rushed over to the computers and turned it on to find a message from none other than the Flash.

"Thawne, if you're seeing this message, that means that you've finally come back to your own time period and I might as well tell you now that your reign is done. Cisco, Caitlin, Silver Bolt and I have started a new resistance that is even stronger than the original one and we've been working on liberating the world from your oppressive regime. You never should've gone back to the 21st century, since it's your undoing. We won't stop until we've destroyed everything you've built and society is free again. See you soon. Our race is far from over." Flash said with a grin before the message cut out and Thawne was so angry, he let out a roar of rage that unleashed a flurry of red lightning from his body.

"I need to figure out how much control I've lost." Thawne said as his son and wife joined him.

"Father, no matter what damage has been done, we fix it." Thaddeus said.

"Don't talk to me right now Thaddeus. Make yourself useful, get the computers going so I can find out how much territory we've lost. I need to know every detail about this new resistance so I can crush it and the Flash along with it. I never thought that he'd come here." Thawne said as he continued to take inventory.

"And in only a few days, he's managed to undo what took me years to build." Thawne said.

"And he'll regret it. We've come too far, you've come too far to let him beat you now." Thaddeus said and Thawne nodded.

"Find every single one of my generals and get them here now so they can convince me not to kill them for failing to protect my empire in my absence." Thawne said.

"Mother is already down in the security station doing exactly that." Thadeus said.

"And unfortunately, it appears that all of your generals are either dead or captured by the enemy." Meena said

"I didn't think the Flash murdered his enemies." Thaddeus said.

"He doesn't. Some of my generals were wise and loyal enough to take their own lives as ordered instead allowing themselves to be captured. The ones that didn't will feel my disappointment soon enough. But first, it's time to remind this century why they should fear me. Get our systems online now." Thawne said.

"We can't. Someone reprogrammed and locked us out of our own mainframe and there's only one person aside from the three of us who knows how to do that." Thawne said.

"Erikson." Meena said and Thawne nodded.

"There's no hope left for him Meena, I truly wish there was, but he's chosen his side and he chose the enemy. I'm not giving him any more chances. He's an enemy and from now on, he'll be treated as such. When I find him and I will, I'll treat him the same way I treat all other threats. With no mercy." Thawne said.

"I agree. I'd hoped that we could make Erikson see reason and come back to his family, but clearly, he's too far gone to be saved." Meena said.

"Thaddeus, scour the city, search for any trace of the Flash. Meena, see if you can regain control of our system from whatever our son did. I'm going to take inventory of what resources we have left. And more importantly, I'm gonna see my presence here will be enough to draw the Flash out." Thawne said, only to grin when he heard an all too familiar sound.

"Did you really think we wouldn't have this place under surveillance?" Flash asked as Thawne turned to face him.

"I didn't want to assume. But I have to admit, I am impressed. I didn't think you had the guts to bring the fight to the future." Thawne said with a grin as he pulled his cowl up and started vibrating.

"I'm not gonna let you terrorize any part of the timeline. Your reign is done Thawne." Flash said and Reverse Flash chuckled.

"How wrong you are Flash. All you've done is provide me with an opportunity for improvement. After I improve the timeline by removing you from it." Reverse Flash said.

"You really think you can beat us both?" Inertia asked as he sped to his father's side.

"You really think your father will let anyone but himself fight me?" Flash asked.

"For once he's right son. Barry Allen's life is mine to take and mine alone." Reverse Flash said, right as Silver Bolt sped up next to her mentor.

"Besides, you get me instead. Let's let the adults deal with this themselves. Catch me if you can brat." Silver Bolt said tauntingly before she sped off with Inertia quickly following her.

"Good, it's just you and me. One avatar against another. And it's time to end this. Once and for all." Reverse Flash said.

"Like my protege said, catch me if you can Thawne. And be ready, because this is going to be one hell of a race." Flash said before he sped off with the Reverse Flash right behind him, both of them running so fast only one of them noticing a portal opening as they ran until Flash led his rival right into the time portal, taking their fight into history itself.
