Goldface was currently standing in front of a truck that he was using to load up the cargo for his benefactor. The cargo being the latest round of meta activated kids and teenagers. About 20 total and they were just the latest batch out of hundreds of kids he'd sold to this guy, along with the kids that he'd sold to other interested parties.

The kids were all safely contained inside pods that kept them sedated for safety reasons until they were delivered to their new owner.

"So, are they all loaded up?" Goldface asked his second in command, Jordan.

"Yep boss, but the driver knows the rules. He doesn't get to leave until you get paid." Jordan said, since the driver worked for the client, not Goldface.

"Good. And speaking of which." Goldface said as he pulled out his phone and saw the latest wire transfer come through.

"And all $20 million, as promised." He said happily as Jordan signalled the driver to move out, but right as the truck started to move, stopped abruptly when an icicle punctured one of the wheels.

"What the hell?" Goldface asked, right as the Flash sped in.

"Hello Goldface. Was wondering if you'd ever stop hiding." Flash said with a smirk.

"Flash, how did you find me?" Goldface asked as Silver Bolt sped in next to him.

"I see you've got a new lackey." Goldface said as Ice Maiden ice bridged in, while while Celestial landed from flying with magical angel wings, Cyclone landed on the ground with a green swirl of wind covering the lower half of her body and Vibe jumped in via breach.

"Name's Silver Bolt." Silver Bolt said.

"I don't care what your name is or how you found us. You won't stop me from making money off this venture." Goldface said he used his gold chain to actually encase himself in solid gold armor encasing his whole body.

"Did any of us know he could do that?" Celestial asked, since she'd assumed that Goldface was just a nickname because he wore gold.

"That he's a gold controlling metahuman, no. But there is one good thing about that." Flash said.

"What?" Silver Bolt asked.

"This." Flash said with a grin, grateful that he'd learned to throw lightning without needing to run first as he zapped Goldface with his speed force lightning, sending him flying back.

"Right, basic science, gold is one of the most effective conductors of electricity there is." Vibe said with a grin as Goldface managed to get up, though his armor had been reduced to a puddle of melted gold.

"You have to teach me how to do that." Silver Bolt said with a grin and Flash chuckled.

"Someday. But you still have a lot to learn before you get to that level." Flash said as Jordan helped his boss to his feet and several of his henchmen came rushing in, including several known criminal metahumans, like Adam Fells, aka Geomancer, Joseph Montelone, Tar Pit, Kimiyo Hoshi, aka Doctor Light, and William Lang, Gridlock.

"Did you really think that I'd do business in this town without being prepared for the day you tracked me down?" Goldface asked.

"You really think that these rejects can beat us?" Flash asked.

"I'll show you." Geomancer said as he slammed his foot into the ground, causing a mini earthquake, only to get knocked back by an air blast from Cyclone.

"I got this guy." Cyclone said as she took the air and lunged at Geomancer, launching another air blast at him while he dodged and slammed his foot into the ground to lift a chunk of it up and hurl it at her.

"I'll cool down Tar Pit." Ice Maiden as she ice blasted the tar meta.

"I got Doctor Light." Celestial said as she and Doctor Light charged at each other.

"I got Gridlock." Vibe said as he blasted Gridlock, since his vibe blasts had no kinetic energy for Gridlock to absorb.

"Silver Bolt, you handle the human guns, I'll deal with Goldface." Flash said, making it clear this was not up for debate as he sped off to fight Goldface.

"Fine." Silver Bolt said, since at least those were thugs she could handle as she got to work.
