"I still can't believe I let you talk me into this." Lisa said to Gabby as they walked down an alley on the seedier side of Central City.

"Hey, you were more than willing. I think someone's getting bored being a bartender." Gabby said.

"Whatever, let's just get this over with. You got the pass phrase." Lisa asked.

"Yeah. You ready to jump into the belly of the beast?" Gabby asked.

"Think you can avoid acting like a military brat? Since I can blend in as the sister of Leonard Snart and the daughter of Lewis Snart, I still have the stench of the criminal scum on me, no matter how hard I've worked to wash it off. You on the other hand, you reek of a badge. Maybe not a cop, but those crooks will tell you're a stiff." Lisa said, since sometimes her unfortunately ties to the criminal world came in handy. Whether she wanted to have them or not.

"Easy Snart. I may not be as bad as you were, but I can hold my own." Gabby said.

"I hope so. For both our sakes. Now remember the cover we were given by CCPD?" Lisa asked, since the cover for this was an official CCPD mission that Joe West had offered them, since Lisa was the only person he knew who had a chance at infiltrating Goldface's market.

"Yeah, you're thinking about joining the family business, looking for some top market gear to help you distinguish yourself from your family and I am your trusted bodyguard." Gabby said.

"Yeah, I still don't think that's a good idea for your cover, since I might be rusty, but no one in the criminal underworld will ever believe that a Snart needs a bodyguard. Now, can we do this?" Lisa asked.

"Right, the streets are paved with gold." Gabby called out and suddenly the ground dropped out from beneath them and they were swallowed by it.

"Okay, not the most graceful way I've ever entered one of these places." Lisa groaned as she and Gabby came too.

"At least we got welcome gifts." Gabby said, referring to their new bracelets, or rather new cuffs.

"I really thought I was done wearing cuffs." Lisa groaned as they got to their feet.

"Not just any cuffs. Those are meta dampening cuffs, in case either of you are metas and fitted with an explosive charge. Now tell us who sent you." one of the guards said.

"Calm down fellas, Big Raf sent us. In fact, I'd think that you'd show me some respect considering that my brother is a lot scarier than your boss could ever dream to be. Or do you not know who I am?" Lisa said, hating every minute of this, but knowing that she had to tap into the Snart dark side to pull this off.

"Should we?" the other guard asked.

"Here's a hint. My brother's name is Leonard." Lisa said.

"Wait, you're Leonard Snart, Captain Cold's, sister?" one of the thugs said.

"Yes and I am and I'm here because I'm looking to one up that dick. So please, back off or risk getting turned into an ice cube. Your call." Lisa said.

"Enjoy yourself Ms. Snart. You and your associate." the first thug said as he left them to look around.

"Damn girl. You really do come in hand around here." Gabby said.

"Being a Snart has its perks in these kinds of places. Now remind me what exactly we're looking for?" Lisa asked as they walked through the black market.

"Any sign of the kids Goldface has been abducting or anything that might indicate why he's abducting them in the first place, since last time I checked, he stole tech and weapons, not kids." Gabby said as they looked around.

"And I think I might have something." Lisa said, nodding over to pod-like chambers that seemed to be on prime display.

"What are these?" Gabby asked.

"Ah, I see you're admiring my newest venture. Powers for sale." Goldface himself said with a grin as he walked up to them.

"Goldface. Wasn't expecting a face to face with the man in charge." Lisa said.

"Well, when a Snart comes calling, you answer." Goldface admitted.

"So, can you explain what you meant by powers for sale?" Gabby asked.

"Of course. As you're no doubt aware, humanity has finally started to level the playing field against the alien freaks with metahumans. Human beings with extraordinary powers. And these pods, well, for people with the meta gene, they allow the user to achieve their potential. All voluntary of course, but not cheap. Especially if they want to remain free afterwards." Goldface said proudly.

"While I don't think either of us want to test our luck on that, these metahumans you're making, are they for sale?" Lisa asked.

"Unfortunately, I'm fresh out of stock at the moment. I just filled a big order. But don't worry, my people are working on increasing supply to meet demand." Goldface promised.

"Can't wait." Lisa said as they continued their 'shopping'.

"I think we just found out why kids are disappearing." Gabby said and Lisa nodded.

"We need to buy something to avoid drawing suspicion and then go from there." Lisa said.

"Good thing we have money to spend. Now let's do this." Gabby said as they resumed looking around.
