A\N Ok so im really bad at creating names okay. Just to be clear Biff isn't Bifur. Also the Three boys names aren't my doing they are my brothers. They were the best he could come up with. Please don't hate.. :) Also thank you guys so much of voting for this story.

Its been about a month with training Brill. She really improved, she could take down Dwalin with one hit. She's growing into a fine Dwaven woman. She's got a little beard now, and she's starting to get really excited about the ranking fight that was happening today. Brill stayed with Bofur and I last night.

"WAKE UP WAKE UP!" I heard Brill say while jumping on my bed.

"Five more minutes!" I said rolling over.

"No were already, running late. I'm dressed. GET UP AND GET DRESSED ERUDITE!" With that said, I jumped out of bed and got dressed, in training clothes. As soon as I was ready Brill grabbed my hands and we ran all the way to the training room. With about a minute to spare, we burst through the doors laughing and trying to catch our breath.

"Late, again!" Dwalin stated.

"Nope on time!" I stated. He sighed and walked away. Then I heard someone call my name.

"Hey Erudite, up here" They said. I turned to see Fili smiling while he was leaning over the railing. I have to admit I've grown very fond of Fili, he's got me closer to my dad. When we could we would go down to the forest. Who am I kidding I liked him a lot, but I never found the words to tell him.

"What brings you here?" I asked smiling at him.

"Well we all are here actually. Thorin, Balin, Kili, Biff, the boys father and mother, Bifur, Bofur, Bombur, Nori, Ori, Dori, Oin, Gloin, and a couple of the guards, oh and the head guard. You do know that you and Dwalin are to battle after the kids fight. It helps with the ranking." He finished.

"No, not really, no one told me. I haven't trained in forever. Explains why Dwalin been staying after with Thorin. I wish I knew a lot sooner." I stated getting angry.

"Listen, you'll do great. Just because Dwalin's been staying after doesn't mean he's gotten better. It just means he's gonna get tired faster." He said winking at me, it made me blush. I turned back to Thorin calling Dwalin and I to the middle of the room.

"Now both of you know of the terms. The trainers will fight after, to help show some skill that they had taught there students." Thorin paused. "Erudite has been training Brill, Dwalin has been training Hank, Bank and Dank. They have learned how to shoot a bow, fight with a sword, axe, daggers and throw knifes. They shall learn more as they advance. I wish all of you good luck. We shall start with the targets." He said leaving and walking to the second floor.

I walked over to Brill and gave her a big hug. I let go and stood by Dwalin.

"You think she will advance?" he asked.

"Yes I do, if not first than second. I've watched your boys, there far to cocky. They think big if them self's. She believes in herself and she wants to prove to everyone and herself that she has what it takes." I said smiling. He put a hand around my waist.

"Is that why you've been staying after with her?" He asked.

"Yes actually, we made a promise. If she fights hard and remembers what I told her, than I am to beat you and I have to show her a water trick."

"Speaking of that, how has it been? Have you been training with it?" I laughed.

"Dwalin, it comes natural to me. I really don't need to train. I'm just glad I can finally control all of the elements." I was smiling.

"Well, on to a new topic how are you and Fili? Is there a relationship coming from it?" I blushed.

"Dwalin, we really should be watching they've already moved on to the knifes and by the looks of it Brill's in the lead." He nodded and turned to watch. I was right Brill was winning. After about another minute, Thorin announced that Brill had won the archery and knife throwing. "Now for the fights." Thorin said. Dwalin ran to the boys and I ran to Brill.

"Brill take this sword it was mine when I was your age, I have a new one now." I said handing her my old sword. She smiled and took it out.

"Why is it so light?" She asked. 

"It was made for me, well for my size." I paused "but its very sharp." I winked at her. 

"Brill against Dank and Hank against Bank. Winners will fight to see who's the winner." I heard my father say. 

"Hank and Bank will go first." Thorin said shortly after. Brill sat in between Dwalin and I. I thought she would be nervous but she wasn't she looked proud and happy. The fight between Hank and Bank didn't last long. Bank had Hank down with one kick to his leg.

I heard Brill inhale and let it out. "I guess it my turn." She said getting up. I grabbed her arm. "Remember what I told you." She nodded and went to the middle. They bowed to each other then. Dank went for her, but she dogged it. She lunged at him cutting his arm. They did this for a couple more minutes, but Brill misses her step and Dank pushed her down. Brill quickly rolled away just missing his Axe. Brill was still on the ground.

She brought up her sword meeting his Axe. He was over her, pushing down on his Axe.

"See I told you. Your nothing but a little weakling, you can't ever take a mans place." We all heard Dank say to Brill. But something had to click in Brill head. She lifted her feet and pushed him in the chest. Dank's Axe went flying behind him and he fell to the floor. Brill jumped up and put her sword to his neck. 

"Anyone can fight." Was all she said before Thorin said that she had won. She ran over and hugged me. But Thorin soon called her back over. It was Banks and Brill's turn.

Brill started the fight by running at him. But he jumped to the ground. Spinning around making her fall to the floor. Brill's face was cut on the left side. I knew she was getting exhausted. Bank jumped on her and put his dagger to her neck.

"Bank has one this fight and Hank won the fight against Dank." Thorin said. "Now for the teachers!" He said. I nodded and took my place.

It was started when Dwalin swung his axe at me. I jumped out of the way just missing it. This was repeated for quite sometime. Then I heard Fili yelling my name.

"Fili this isn't a good time right now!" I shouted.

"I need to tell you something, it's important!"

"What is it then?"

"I love you" I stopped and looked at him. Really now, out of all the times in the world now. Dwalin took his chance while I was standing there. He hit me hard in my chest pushing me down to the ground hard. I reached behind my head and pulled my hand out. it was covered in blood. 'Great' I thought.

Dwalin swung his axe down again. I moved out off they way, but he soon brought his axe down again but meeting my sword in the process. I heard Brill gasp. "Erudite are you okay?" I heard her yell but I ignored her. I grabbed a dagger out of my pants and cut Dwalins arm. He let go of his axe and grabbed his arm. I walked behind him and put my sword to his neck and me dagger to his face.

"I win!" Was all I said before falling back from him, hitting the floor. I heard people yelling my name. I could see people rushing to my side out of my bury vision. Just as I saw Fili, I blacked out.
