Jay's POV
I had my last class with Nya, since Juniors and Sophomores are together in Robotic class, which we found out we had together before the class itself started. Turns out we both have a desire for technology.

She said she really didn't have anything to do after school, so she was gonna walk me to detention.

We were getting to know each other, and she has been telling me about Kai's fear from water, when we arrived the classroom where the detention will be.

Nya told me bye and then walked towards the exit, while I watched her until she disappeared. Once she was gone, I entered the classroom to see the others already there.

"Hey guys."I said and sat down on a desk behind Cole.

Not long after the one of the worst teachers ever, Mr. Dodson, entered the room.

"Cole Brookstone and Jay Walker,"he said, noticing the two of us."My favorite students."he said, sarcastically.

"Nice to see you too, Mr. Dodson."Cole said, also sarcastically.

"Okay boys, today, you won't be sitting here, being bored,"Mr. Dodson said. We sighed in relief."So instead, you will be sorting out the library. Except Lloyd. Mr. Wu said the boy is needed home."he said and all of us groaned, except Lloyd.

As we entered the library, Mr. Dodson locked the door behind us so we won't escape. He also said that we're not allowed in to go to the toilet until we finish either. I really hate this teacher.

We turned around from the door and saw a massive pile of books on top of one of the tables. We groaned.

"C'mon,"said Cole, putting his bag pack down and going to the table, taking some books."Let's start so we can go home faster."he said and walked away. Zane, Kai and I put our things next to Cole's and did the same as him.

I checked the first book, to see where it belongs, then found the place and put it back. After sorting some more books out, I saw something to glow with the corner of my eye. I turned towards it, but saw nothing. I shrugged, maybe it was just my imagination.

I saw the light again and turned to it. This time, I did see something. The light was coming from a book.

I put the remaining four books in my hands on the floor and walked towards the glowing book.

"Hey guys!"I said, not looking away from the weird view."Check this out!"I added.

Moments later, all three of my co-grounded were surrounding me, looking at the book.

"How's that possible?"Cole asked.

"I have not clue."I said, shrugging.

"Okay, let's see what's inside."Kai said and reached for it.

"Kai don't!"the three of us yelled, but he took it anyway.

Nothing happened to him."See? It's alright."he said and opened the book. Six different lights escaped the book. Two blue ones(one lighter and one darker blue), a red one, a really dark brown one, a white one a green one. The light and green one left through the wall, while the other four entered each one of us. The blue one in me, the red one in Kai, the white one in Zane and the brown one in Cole. Our whole bodies glowed in the said colors for a moment, then disappeared. The book, that has fallen on the ground at some point, was closed and there was no trace of anything happening at all.

The four of us looked at each other, and then the questions started.

"What happened!?"

"What was that!?"

"Are we gonna die!??"

"Guys!"Cole yelled, silencing the the rest of us. We all looked at him."Calm down, we're okay and we are not gonna die."he assured us.

"How are you so sure about that!?"Kai asked, still a bit panicked.

"We are okay, aren't we?"Cole asked."Do you feel hurt?"

Kai shook his head, calming down."No."he said.

"That means we're okay."Cole said.

"But what were these things? And where did the other two go?"I asked.

"Okay, let's just forget about that ever happened. We're gonna talk about it only if there are some symptoms or something like that."Kai suggested.

"Dial."the rest of us agreed and continued sorting the books.

Though I couldn't help, but wonder, what did happened with us and the other two lights?
