"So, he'll be okay for the time being?" Sonic asked Eggman.

"Yeah, and he'll be better soon." Eggman commented back.

"Good. I'm sure Gadget will be glad to hear that...." Sonic glanced away. "You know some of us aren't okay.... After what you did...."

Eggman looked at Sonic. "You look pretty okay." Eggman looked out at the sky. "I'm sorry if I pushed the contract to the limits. It's just being a villain, even if we are almost family... Uncle Sonic." Eggman smirked and chortled a small bit.

Sonic felt as if he was going to be sick. "Oh my Chaos don't ever say that again."

"It's true my dearest hedgehog." Eggman put a hand on Sonic's head. "I might take the 9 mouth torture clause out of the contact, make it a month or something. You are family, sadly."

Sonic frowned. "Wow thanks." Taking the human's hand off of him, he shook his head. "But seriously, that virtual reality torture was messed up. Never do that again."

"Alright alright, anyways, the phantom ruby is shattered and I don't feel like doing that again." Eggman sighed, he looked at Sonic. "I was thinking maybe going back to the classics, or racing, I'm not sure yet."

"Either way, I'll be there, married or not." Sonic grinned.

"Doesn't matter either way, I'll still beat your tail and take over the world! Even if today didn't succeed I can still try tomorrow!" Eggman started to laugh.

"I'm sure if you took that perseverance elsewhere, you'd have better results than you're getting now." Sonic chuckled. "'Cause I'll always be there to stop you."

Suddenly the door kicked out. "We have to clean the upper atmosphere!" Cass called, she floated away up into the stars.

"Are you going to go be a hero and help good old grandmother?" Eggman asked.

"It's not just to be a hero." Sonic winked. "It's to help out my family." He then jumped into the stars after Cass.
