“Did you find them?” Knuckles asked.

Silver frowned. “We found one survivor.”

The group looked down sadly. Charmy spoke up. “But that’s okay, right? We can still win!”

“Of course we can, little man, we can do anything and will!” Marklin exclaimed.

Charmy cheered. Silver gestured to the wolf. “This is the survivor.”

The wolf waved nervously before signing, ‘I’m Gadget….’

“It is nice to meet you, Gadget.” Espio said politely.

‘It’s nice to meet you too….’ Gadget signed shyly, looking at everyone. ‘Heroes of Mobius….”

“Greetings, heros.” Marklin said simply. Gadget flushed slightly.

The group waved. Amy smiled, walking up to Gadget. “You’re so sweet!”

“It’s amazing that you survived.” Knuckles said in awe.

Gadget’s muzzle heated up in embarrassment, looking down. ‘The only reason I survived is because I was cowardly….’

“He survived because the thing gave him mercy.” Marklin said. Gadget looked to Marklin, slightly surprised. “Also we need to name this thing because this is annoying.”

“Let’s name it Kilroy! Because it kills things and Roy is a cool name!” Charmy spoke up. “I wish I was named Roy!”

“Charmy….” Vector and Espio sighed in unison.

“That’s great!” Marklin called, “Cute even!” Marklin said even though he should stop encouraging Charmy, but here we are.

“Yay!” Charmy cheered. The others just sighed, not wanting to argue.

Knuckles rolled his eyes before turning to Rouge. “Rouge, I need you to follow Eggman, find out what he’s planning next.”

“Sure thing.” Rouge winked before flying off. “I’ll tell you if I find anything.”

“What now?” Jasper asked.

Amy looked to the large screen. “There are multiple battles going on that we should assist in.” another thing popped up. “Oh! We need someone to map out Aqua Road!”

“I’LL DO THAT!” Jasper immediately claimed.

“Alright then.” Knuckles shrugged. “Be careful.”

Jasper was already gone with what he needed.

“Knuckles! Knuckles pick up!” Rouge’s voice was heard through the communicator.

“Rouge!? What is it?” Knuckles questioned.

“It’s Sonic! He’s alive!”

“You said HE WAS DEAD!” Cass started to crawl across the table.

“That’s what we were told!” Knuckles quickly replied. “Tails saw it himself, and Eggman announced it.”

“He’s got Sonic held up in captivity.” Rouge replied. “They’ve been torturing him for months now.”

“Torture!?” Amy started to cry. “That’s horrible!”

“They have been doing WHAT!” Cass said from half way on the table.

“I never thought Eggman would stoop that low.” Espio shook his head sadly.

“My FAMILY-” Kathie dragged Cass off the table.

“We have to save him!” Amy quickly said.

Knuckles nodded. “I’m sure we can ‘borrow’ a shuttle. They’re stored in Chemical Plant, right?” Espio nodded in response. “Alright, Gadget and Marklin can go clear it of enemies.”

“You want me-” Marklin gestured at himself, “to clear out enemies in an enemy base.”

“Listen, I’d love to send someone else, but the others have jobs to do. Speaking of….” Knuckles glared to the other Mobians, and Team Chaotix and Silver instantly disappeared, going to their forgotten missions. Amy ran to her computer. “You’re all we got.”

“Alright.” Marklin growled.

Gadget simply nodded, signing, ‘We’ll do our best!’ before gesturing to Marklin to follow him. Marklin followed him tiredly.

“Wait!” Knuckles called before handing Gadget a wispon. “Don’t forget this.”

Gadget simply nodded before going to leave again.
