Meet Inari... The stubborn little son of a gun that pissed me off.
"Please pass me the salt?" I asked. We were all having dinner- corn, fish, and ramen. Sasuke sat to my right while Kakashi was at my left. Naruto and Sasuke were having an eating contest and looked like they were about to puke... yep, they just did. Sasuke made sure to barf on the other side of him, and not me.
"Hello?" I asked and poked Sasuke. The salt was on the other side of him. He completely ignored me.
"Sasuke-san..?" his head shot up and glared at me for a moment before going back to the ramen. I sighed.
"More please!" Naruto and Sasuke both yelled at the same time. Tsunami, the young woman, simply giggled and served more. When they barfed the second time, I lost my appetite. I scooted my bowl away from me and stood up. As I did, a little boy with a white and blue hat stormed in.
"You're all going to die." he stated bluntly. I furrowed my eyebrows. Huh?
"Wha?" Naruto anime fell.
"Gatoh is going to kill you all if you don't leave." he continued.
"Inari! These ninja helped your grandfather come home safely!" Tsunami scolded and that Inari boy just scowled.
"I'm simply telling the truth. Nobody can defeat Gatoh!" He argued back.
"Why you little punk.!" Naruto started and glared at him. Inari turned to him and looked at him coldly.
"You're going to die." I frowned at Inari and stepped in front of him since I was the only one standing. I put my hands on his shoulders and shook gently.
"You need to trust us. I swear on my blood that we will defeat that Gatoh guy and any ninja he sends after your grandfather." I promised and he shrugged away my grip.
"Don't make promises you can't keep." Inari glared at me and I glared back. He flinched at the insensity of my glare and turned away. I stopped and frowned. Was he afraid?
Monster.
I sadly looked at the ground and tuned out all of Naruto's yelling at the boy. Inari just shrugged off a promise to protect him... like it was nothing. That boy really got to me for some reason.
I decided not to cause trouble and just go outside. I made sure not to slam the door of be super loud and just went to the back of the house. I went to the same tree I trained on earlier and just punched it once, leaving my fist there. I felt my eyes turn white but I could care less.
Because you're just a pathetic monster.
"Aerith." I heard a familliar voice call from behind me. I tried to make my eyes go back to normal, but for some reason I couldn't. I was just too angry. Angry at myself.
"Go... a..way... Sasuke." I gritted my teeth as I forced the words out. I sounded like a whole different person. My voice was darker and scarier. Eviler. I heard footsteps and they stopped right behind me. I swore under my breath as I tried to make my eyes turn back yet again. Still didn't turn back. I made sure not to move.
"Aerith.." he repeated, but with much more emotion. I couldn't take it anymore and as slow as I could go, I turned around and shut my eyes. I didn't want him to see my eyes. I looked down and my hair went into my face.
"Sasuke.. you need to leave." I said a bit more calmer. Sasukes hand went up my chin and forced my head up, but I still kept my eyes closed.
"Now why would I leave, and what are you hiding?" he asked. I sighed and tried to get the whiteness from my eyes, yet again, it was a fail. "Open your eyes, you look weird with them closed." he poked my cheek and I flinched back. He must've noticed because he stopped. "What's wrong?" he asked, now concerned.
"Something wrong with my eyes, I can't get them back to normal." I admitted finally. All of this time I still kept my eyes closed.
"Open them and show me. Besides, you're eyes aren't normal when they are normal. Why should I even care what they look like?" I frowned.
"Because I could accidently hurt you. And that's not nice to say that about my eyes." I opened my eyes slightly but looked down at Sasukes ninja shoes.
"Look at me, Aerith." he ordered sternly. I slowly looked up at him and he furrowed his brow at the color of my eye. I immediatly looked away, but Sasukes fingers on my chin forced me to look back. He observed them for a moment before leaning down.
"You look perfect to me." he whispered.
Just before he stole my first kiss, something really annoying happened.
"SASUKE-KUN!?! AERITH!?!" Sakura screamed. Sasuke groaned quietly and I peeked over his shoulder.
"Yeah Sakura?" I asked like nothing happened. Well, nothing did... but there was going to be. She gasped and took a step back.
"Aerith... your eyes!" she whispered. She was afraid. That was the blow to my mountian. My own teammate, scared... of me. Tears made there way to my eyes and began pouring down my cheeks.
You monster, you deserve the pain.
Sasuke didn't notice the tears and turned around to face Sakura. He started walking back to the front of the house.
"Hn." he grunted before he turned the corner, leaving me behind.
Abandoning.
"You..." Sakura started, capturing my attention. I didn't care if she saw my tears. I felt my white eyes become brighter, and I could see much better- I now pratically had night-vision.
"You monster!" She screamed and turned around and ran back to the house, leaving me in the dust.
Monster...
