Jasmine's POV

"Ok everyone today we'll be doing a dance through from Alexander Hamilton to Helpless." Lin announced to the cast that had been gathered around the stage.

"And you'll be called out for costumes." I smiled. I couldn't wait to see my Maria costume. Groffsauce walked up to me.

"You ready to look freakin sexy in that Maria outfit and make Ant droll over you more than he already does?" He asked me. I laughed and tried to hide the fact that I was blushing.

"Ant doesn't droll over me." I protested. " But yah I'm ready to look super hot. Though I don't know how much sexier I can get." I flipped my hair while Groff laughed and then walked over to where Ant and Lin were standing.

"Jazzy! Perfect!" Lin exclaimed when I got to them. "You and Anthony here are going to try on your costumes during You'll Be Back." Ant and I both nodded as Lin walked over to the next group of people.

"Can't wait to see you in your costume." Ant said as he turned to me.

"Yah." I said. "I'm sure you'll look very handsome." I teased.

I turned around and walked to Pippa, but not before I saw Ant blush deep red and open his mouth to respond. I silently giggled and strolled up to Pippa and Daveed.

"Whatcha laughing at?" Daveed asked.

"Nothing!" I quickly replied. Seriously if they find out about any flirting, even that kind, which was clearly a joke, they would freak out. Pippa smirked.

"Mmm hmm sure." She said before nodding over to the direction from where I had just came.

I turned around to see Ant standing in the same spot, staring at me with his mouth slightly open. Crap did he not get that it was a joke?

He suddenly snapped back into reality and noticed he was staring. Ant blushed bright red and ran off to Oak.

Pippa and Daveed broke out into loud laughter.

"Shut up!" I whispered to them.

"You're blushing!" Daveed said in a sing-songy voice once he had composed himself. Pippa was still trying hard not to giggle. I rolled my eyes.

"I am not!" I protested. Daveed was about to talk back when Lin interrupted us.

"PLACES!!!" He yelled. We all ran to our spots backstage.

The music started and soon Leslie's voice filled the theater.

"See you in like 2 minutes." Ant said as he pushed open a door across from mine. I nodded and smiled as I walked into a room with two women standing and talking. They turned to me.

"Hi!" One said. She introduced herself.

"I'm Lily and this is Robin." She said. Robin smiled and shook my hand.

"You ready to see your dress?" Lily asked. I nodded and she pulled out a beautiful 18th century yellow dress. I slipped it on and Lily ran around me, fiddling with some parts and pinning others to make it fit perfectly. At the same time Robin lead me through the hair and make up for Peggy.

"Done!" Lily exclaimed as she stepped back and looked me up and down proudly. "How's it feel?" She asked.

"There are a couple pins poking me in the back but besides that good." I responded.

"I'll take care of that." Lily said with a smile. She stepped toward me to help me out of it but I stopped her.

"Actually," I started. "Could I step outside in the hall for a minute?" Lily looked concerned but nodded and I stepped of the podium and walked out the door.

In the hall Ant was leaning against a wall in his John Laurens costume on his phone. When he noticed me he smiled.

"AND PEGGY!" I said in a childlike voice while putting my hands on my hips. Ant laughed and walked over to me. We chatted for a bit before his costume person popped her head out of his room.

"Anthony!" She said in a very flirtatious tone. I felt a pang of something that might have been jealousy. To my relief, Ant rolled his eyes and reluctantly walked back to his room. Once I had gotten into mine, Robin and Lily instantly jumped up from their seats and raced over to show me my new dress.

Lily ran to a closet and pulled out a VERY revealing deep red dress. She helped me slip it on and once again raced around to make it fit perfectly while Robin showed me the make up and hair. After a while they both stepped back.

I looked at myself in the full length mirror.

"Woah." I simply stated.

"Yah woah!" Robin exclaimed.

"Besides the pins how's it feel?" Lily asked.

"Wonderful." I responded. "May I step out for a second?" I asked. They both nodded and I stepped into the hall.

Again, Ant was leaning against the wall on his phone. But this time he was in his Phillip costume. After standing there a bit I spoke.

"You look good with your hair down." I said. Ant quickly looked up at me. I smiled at his surprised expression.

He stared at me for what felt like an hour before he managed to speak.

"J-Jas you look a-amazing." He stuttered. I laughed at him.

"Thanks." I responded. "So do you." He smiled but continued to look at me. After a few minutes of me talking and him awkwardly attempting to respond, his costume lady returned. This time she walked out fully and stepped between me and Ant.

"Yah coming back in honey?" She asked, again in a flirtatious tone. I felt anger boil in me.

"Sure one second." Ant responded. He then stepped around her and grabbed my face and pulled me into a very passionate kiss.

His lips melted perfectly into mine. He felt like a part of me that was missing my whole life. (Don't judge me I'm not good at writing this kinda stuff) After about a minute we pulled away. His costume girl must've stormed off because she was no where to be found.

"Woah." He said as he slid against the wall and sat on the floor.

"I know." I said sitting down next to him. We sat there for a while before Ant got up.

"We'll talk about this later." He said. He then walked back into the room where he got his costume from, leaving me sitting in the hallway alone.

I'm sooooo tired. Sorry for skipping Monday's update. I just had like no time. Thank you for reading this. Please tell me about any mistakes.
