Story Description:

In a distant future, the roles between man and machine have reversed. Androids now dominate the ruling class and humans have been demoted to below indentured servants, traded and sold with as much regard as livestock.

One of those indentured servants is seventeen-year old Mar, who spends her days fixing up cars for Hatsuimoto, her cranky owner with a gambling problem, and repairing small electronics on the side. But after the devastating imprisonment of her best friend and the loss of her mother figure, Mar finds herself as one of the next contestants in the most perilous race of the year. The Dead World Prix: a two-week spectacle of humans driving a circuit full of obstacles and challenges in pursuit of a massive prize, including the distinct benefit of becoming a free citizen, just like the androids. There's only one catch: no one has won the race in its 25 years of existence. That's where she meets Kit -an android disguising himself as a human- who she just can't seem to stay away from. As their paths intertwine, the two find themselves falling in love with each other; but with death and danger littering every mile of the circuit, the realities of the race become mortally apparent. Just as Mar is ready to give up and accept the race as a death sentence, she uncovers powers hidden within her and sets out on a path of vengeance, not just to finish the race but to reset the balance between humans and androids.

Meet your author: So, I’m kind of in a unique situation with my story. Currently, I’m in the middle of a crowdfunding campaign for my book and readers can actually pre-order my book now! I’ve been working exceptionally hard to get my book into this position and am just looking for exposure, for someone to take a chance on me and my story. I want to get new readers and make a connection them that’s only possible through wattpad. Some boring stuff: I have b.a. in writing and have been posting stories online since I was twelve writing twilight fan-fiction. Online stories are my roots.

Story Description: 

 The Earth is dying, yet humanity survives. Pollution and radiation run rampant on the surface. The government rations food and clean air for everyone. The glass domes provide some sense of security, but they are only for the rich who can afford the astronomical price of providing precious clean air to a whole city. 

Nym and her family live outside the dome when the disease breaks out. Spreading through the Minor City Shelter and then to Shelter's around other cities, nothing seems capable of stopping it. People going mad and dying off like flies. There's no cure they can find. They only know one thing.

Their last precious resource is going to be the death of them.
