I plopped down on the neon green couch.

"busy day?" Aunt Kioshi mused.

"Annoying." I mumbled, finding it hard to stay awake. "Hey could you toss me my headphones and ipod on the counter there?" She looked at the counter and tossed them to me. I put them on and turned the music to the loudest it could go.

I'm at the war and they

I angrily switched the song. If we was real, would he have let my parents die? No. I switched it to Love me like you do then fell asleep.

"stay there missy." A woman's voice hissed. I had my arms over my head and my head was against the bathroom door. I felt tears running down my face as i heard my father.

"Stop k-!" His voice was abruptly interrupted by two gun shots. I heard the clicking of high heels and two more gun shots. Then it was followed by the rapid footsteps and doors slamming. Flashlights blurred my vision and i turned around.

I woke up screaming. MY hands wrapped around my knees and i buried my face into my legs. I tried not to think about it but i was shaking. it was so vivid.... as if it was still happening now.... I was still shaking, and my eyes were probably red, when i had to get up and answer the door.

"wh-who is it?" I whispered barely loud enough to be heard.

"Ai! it's me! Elizabeth!" That familiar voice squeaked. that annoying, annoying voice. Why did i want to hear it? I opened the stairs door.

"I heard your scream. I live a few doors down." She bit her lip and cringed.

"Well I'm fine...." I muttered.

"Ai! whose your friend?" Aunt Kioshi's voice rang into my ears. Seriously? more worried about who my friend is than me?

"I'm Elizabeth." She laughed nervously and scratched the back of her head.

"Well don't be rude Ai. Invite her in." Aunt Kioshi huffed and went back upstairs. I sighed and grit my teeth.

"Please come in." She shook her head.

"I have to go. Tell your aunt i said thank you anyway." She smiled and spun around on her foot. I watched her go down the hall. Part of me wanted for her to stay, but i just met her. so why?

"Oh and Ai." She turned around and looked at me, "God loves you."
