Reedstar paced around the giant tree, waiting for a friend to show up.  A gust of wind knocked him off his paws as the dragon landed into the gathering place with a loud rumble.  Venom appeared around a small bush, his small, rough tail twitching as he spread his wings.  Even though venom and just hatched, he was still bigger than Reedstar.

 "I'm guessing you are venom, and that is your mother, lightspeaker," Reedstar said, his slim tail twitched as venom glanced around.

 "My mother told me of this place," he squealed , then looked embarrassed.  "She said she met you in the forest.  It's better than being stuck on a volcanic island.  The air is so fresh here I lo-," he flinched and turned to see his sister, who was giggling .

 "MOM!  WINDREED BIT ME!  TELL HER TO STOP," venom shouted. 

 "DID NOT!  IT WAS AN ERM- IT WAS AN ANT THAT BUT YOU!  YEAH!  AN ANT," windreed shouted back, playfully leaping into her brother.

 "Both of you quiet, and I'll introduce you to Reedstar," the two hachlings instantly sat up, their scales shimmering in the moonlight.  Reedstar let out a sigh, remembering how his own kit, moonkit, who was now a warrior, moonlight, had been calm and collective.  But, they were dragons.I

 "Now, Reedstar is leader of riverclan, which means he leads and he rids Riverclan of bad guys," lightspeaker started, her blue eyes flashing.

 " Ooooooh!  Can I be a leader"?  Windreed wondered, her eyes wide.

 "No, no you ca-" Reedstar said just as windreed playfully leapt onto him.  Her talons were even sharper than a hawks, and Reedstar couldn't get out.

 "Fox dung," she muttered, lightspeaker giving windreed a glare. 

 " let him go, " she commaned.

 "No"!

" Yes"!

 "I SAID NO"!

"Yes," lightspeaker commaned, opening her jaws.  But windreed spoke first .

 "Oak tree, I command you to fall into mother and injure my mother badly.  And every moon, she can't talk, and has to do whatever I say," windreed retorted.  The great oak tree fell into lightspeaker.  Windreed gasped.

 " I enchant this dragon, lightspeaker to do what I say unless I tell her not to, but to heal her.  this spell lasts forever, "windreed said, not paying attention to Reedstar anymore.  She turned to venom.

" I enchant venom to fly away for ever and never see me again.  And that after ten years, he will stab his claws into his belly and bleed to death of he takes one glance at me, " she finished.  Venom flew away, a mournful look in his violet eyes.
