Chapter 2
Charity huffed, trying to get her breath back.
After arriving at her treatment facility, she had dressed the unfortunate succubus in a concealing dress, treated the bloody head wounds, and gave the woman a long drink of water when she regained consciousness.
" Give me your name and I'll give you some pain killers." She offered gently.
The succubus shook her head, then screamed when Charity jammed her thumbs against the still-raw wounds where her antlers had been.
" TELL ME!" Charity roared. Her nails dug through the thin gauze, pressing against exposed nerves until the demon broke.
" Ta'lali!" She sobbed, writhing against the fishing line that bound her to the chair.
Charity released her prisoner, and watched as she curled up as much as her binding would allow.
" Well that wasn't so hard, was it?" Charity said, putting a numbing balm under the gauze and replacing it gently.
" I'm sorry I had to hurt you, but you were misbehaving: and if you misbehave, then you can't be saved."
Ta'lali glowered.
" Whatever. I'll escape in a day. You can't hold me for long."
" You won't leave without your precious ornaments." Charity said, holding the bloody antlers in Ta'lali's sight.
Ta'lali screamed and swore, and fought with all her might, but it was in vain. She was trapped, and they both know it.
" What do you want from me!?" Ta'lali yelped.
Charity smiled sweetly.
" I'm going to make you realize that your life before me was full of sin, full of hate, and full of darkness. You will learn, and you will be saved by me!"
Ta'lali stared at her antlers, hanging carelessly in her captor's hands, and she knew that escape was hopeless for now. She was trapped.
