{A FEW DAYS LATER}

Marinette and Adrien sat at the park during lunch eating ice cream. 'Okay Agreste think. What could she be using.'  Adrien scanned Marinette but she seemed normal. "What're you looking at?" Marinette said as Adrien looked at her ice cream.

"If just admiring your beauty. Your freckles are like stars dancing on your face." Adrien smiled and blush grew on each of their faces.

"You you don't mean that." Marinette laughed.

"But I do. Your so beautiful.  Don't let anyone tell you different." Adrien smiled and hugged her. 'I mean your kinda hard not to look at.  You are beautiful.' Adrien thought. Marinette blushed more.

"You don't mean it." Marinette sighed."I'm just ordinary." She looked down and away from him.

"Marinette." Adrien sighed and took her chin gently between his fingers. He tilted her head to look at him and she did. "You are the most beautiful girl in Paris. You are so talented and brilliant and special. Don't let anyone put you down. You are everything to me and don't think any less of that."

"But Chloe-" Adrien cut her off.

"I don't care what Chloe thinks and neither should you. You are the most amazing girl I have ever met. I love you Marinette." 'Three things I agree with but one is slightly off. Marinette isn't amazing. She's miraculous!'

"I love you too Adrien." Marinette looked up at him while he moved his hand from her chin to her cheek. They both leaned in and their lips collided and matched each other's perfectly. They pulled away to catch their breath. 'You're an amazing kisser. Who would've thought' Adrien thought to himself and chuckled a little. "What's so funny?"

"Your an amazing kisser Marinette." Adrien kissed her cheek and they walked back to the school hand in hand.

{AFTER SCHOOL}

"Have a great practice." Marinette smiled.

"I'll try but it'll be hard without you there." Adrien chuckled and Marinette blushed. Adrien kissed her cheek and ran to the stadium. Practice went fast and when it ended he ignored everyone and ran home instead of catching his ride. He got home and collapsed on his bed.

"What was that?" Plagg yelled.

"What was what?" Adrien propped himself up on his elbows.

"People were trying to talk to you and you ignored them like they weren't even there. You ignored Nino who even got you a snack!"

"I I don't know." Adrien sat up and looked at his hands and felt someone take one.

"You don't even see with your friends no more 'cause you're hanging out with Marinette!" Plagg crossed his little arms.

"I don't mean to ignore them but when I'm not with her it hurts in my head in my heart in my chest and I have trouble catching my breath!"

"Why don't you just run?"

"If you were under someone's spell wouldn't that be the first thing you try?" Adrien fall back against his bed and looked at the ceiling. "She's gonna love me to death."

"Tikki did you hear that he said he loved me! And I didn't even have to tell him to say it!" Marinette spun around her room as she held the doll to her chest. she put the doll back in her hiding place and did her homework. There was a knock on her window and she walked over to it.  "Chat Noir why do I have the pleasure for you being here?"

"A knight must always check on his Princess." Chat walked into her room and sat on her chaise. 'I still have the weird feeling like this! Come on.'

"What's your real reason?"
 
"There hasn't been an Akuma in a month and I wanted a reason to break out the suit."  Chat admitted and Marinette laughed. 'Her laugh is heavenly'

"Marinette who are you talking to?" Tom asked as through the trapdoor.

"Uhm Alya!" Marinette yelled back.

"Well can you try to lower the volume?"

"Sure can do." Marinette sighed and sat at her desk. She started working on her homework again. Chat hovered over he shoulder. "Don't you have your own homework?"

"Yeah but I finished it all." Chat sighed as there was a loud scream outside. "Stay here." Chat ran out of her room and to the scream where he found an Akuma.

"The item is his weapon." Ladybug said as she swung next to Chat.

"Well that's just great." Chat sighed as he leaped into action.

"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug yelled as a ball of yarn fell into her hands. She used her lucky vision and sopped on the Akuma's arm, Chats leg and the building behind him. "Chat make it rain!"

"Cataclysm!" Chat put his hand against the building as it came toppling down. Ladybug wrapped the yarn around his leg and swung his up on a support beam that stayed. The Akuma came running after him but Ladybug wrapped the yarn around his arm and he dropped his weapon. Ladybug grabbed it and snapped it in half.

"Get out of there you nasty bug." The Akuma flew out. "Time to de-evilize." Ladybug opened her yo-yo and caught the Akuma in it. The yo-yo landed in her hand and she opened it. "Bye bye little Butterfly." The white butterfly flew out of the yo-yo. "Miraculous Ladybug!" She threw the yarn in the air and everything went back to normal. Her miraculous beeped. "Gotta bug out!" She swung away and Chat ran back home.

"Claws in." Adrien said as he fell back against his couch. He transformed from Chat Noir and back to Adrien.

"Calm down kid I'm sure you'll figure something out." Plagg said as he ate more cheese.

"Yeah I guess." Adrien sighed and went to bed thinking about Marinette. The only person he's had on his mind lately.
