“What do you mean she escaped?!” The vampire seethed hissing making the light witch cower from where he kneeled before the original council that now glowered at him.

“She escaped with Naberious’s help” The light witch spoke cautiously.

The elder werewolf growled while the vampire once again hissed. “He will not give up will he?” The demon chuckled from the shadows before revealing himself.

The light witch stood making sure not to make any eye contact with them.

“It looks like we will have to resort to-“the dark witch paused coming to his side “desperate measures once again” She chuckled darkly making the light witch shiver.

“W-what do you mean by that” The light witch cursed himself for stuttering, these kind of people aren’t the kind you show weakness to.

The vampire simply chuckled. “No need to ponder over it young one” She stated.

“It’s quite simple really, we need the one person who even has a slim chance at going toe to toe Violet” The werewolf spoke nonchalantly. “She just needs a good reason which I’m sure you’ll be able to come up with” He grinned maliciously baring his canines.

The light witch gulped. “You want me to turn her own sister against her?”

“Of course” A man with light features revealed himself. “It may seem cruel but it’s the only way to bring peace” The man spoke softly as the light witch stared in aww and respect.

“Of course sire” He bowed while everyone else silently snickered at the fact that he is easily influenced by a man who is supposedly a bringer of light. Light witch or no he is the worst of them all.

“Make sure you succeed, you would not want to become a failure like your father would you Stephen” The dark witch said darkly making him wince.

“Of course not” With that he disappeared in a flash of light before another man entered the room.

“Make sure everything goes as plan Richard, we cannot afford any more mistakes.” The vampire stated making a smirk came to his face.

“Of course not, I hope to rid of not only Naberious but Violet Scarlett” He spat both their names with hate and disgust making everyone stare at him in amusement at his petty hate.

“Fine with us just leave her sister to us” The light witch stated charmingly before shooing him.

Silence over took the chamber once again as everyone were indulged into their thoughts.

“Well” the light witch spoke getting everyone attention.

“Let’s hope history doesn’t repeat itself ladies and gentlemen” He raised a glass he made appear while everyone else followed his lead.

He looked around at his comrades each of their own species and head of their own council as they each came from the first and original council of their time.

The werewolf, the demon, the vampire, the dark witch and finally him the light witch, the one who started this all as they would barely know it.

“Let’s end this in this century shall we” a smirk made a way to his lips as everyone else.

“Lets” The dark witch smirked before drinking from her glass.

Violet

I blinked in confusion.

“The original council?”

He glared at the wall before sighing turning back to me.

“I’m not the only one who has been alive for these past centuries sweetheart.”  He chuckled halfhearted me stroking my hair. Who know something so simple could feel so good.

‘Imagine how much better we would feel if-‘

‘I’m not having sex with him’ I cut her off. She’s been like a horny wolf in heat for the past time so far. But I know it’s her way of dealing with the information given, she’s probably blaming herself for not remembering these crucial details of her past.

‘Not yet ’she whispered cutting me from my thoughts. I simply rolled my eyes, horny wolf.

“So others lived just as you?” I asked while he nodded.

“If not older.” He added,

“But what do you mean by original council? I know there’s a werewolf, witches-“

“That’s not what I meant” Nathan cut me from listing the current councils.

“I’m talking about the original council from where I was alive, or at least the leaders.” My eyes widened. “How the hell did they live so long?!”

Nathan rolled his eyes. “Witches of the head witches council.” I raised an eyebrow.

Witches as in two? Light and dark?

“Yes both of them are actually working together” He said sensing my sense of thoughts.

I sat here baffled. That’s something you don’t hear every day, a light and dark witch working together.

“I’ll believe it when I see it” I shrugged while he just chuckled. “You won’t have to wait long.

“Anyway the original council is made of the leaders of the council long ago, each of their own species.” He gave me a pointed look when I snickered.

Am I supposed to believe a wolf is working with a dark witch and demons along with a vampire working with a light witch? Again I’ll believe it when I see it.

“Bartholomew, the original leader of the werewolf council, that guy is one of the strictest and firm old timer you’ll ever meet. Belvedere, the vampire a ruthless woman who pretty much get what she wants when she doesn’t there’s hell to pay. Alistair, the demon, a true meaning of demon indeed. Cecil, the dark witch which you will never want to meet. Finally, Augustine the light witch but don’t let that fool you” He gave me a pointed look that screamed warning.

“He is the most ruthless, manipulative cunning creature out of them all, Light witch or not. After all he manage to begin a century old conflict.” I stared at him in confusion. I don’t think I was supposed to hear the last part.

“Well I think that’s enough for today.” I was about to disagree when he gave me a stern look. “You need your rest.

I shut my mouth and huffed going under the covers as a smirk overcame his features. I rolled my eyes “You coming or what” I gestured to the spot beside me on the bed.

He looked surprised before his smirk grew larger. “If you wanted to do this-“

“Oh shut up and come sleep next to me” I grumbled stopping him from uttering anymore of what I was shure would be sexual.

I let out a sigh when I felt a comfortable heat settle next to me before I was pulled towards it sparks flying.

“Sleep well my little scarlett rose.” He mumbled.

Before falling asleep I have one though.

Does he still have a soul, if not how can I be his mate?

I woke up from the best sleep I ever had.

I don’t remember sleeping as well as this since my childhood and heck this is even better.

I looked around frowning when I found the room empty. Shrugging it off I made my way into the bathroom not forgetting clothes I found lay out for me.

I’m in dire need of a bath.

My wolf snickered ‘Drama queen.’

I rolled my eyes ‘hush you’

After my relaxing bath I decided to do some exploring.

‘You mean look for Nathan’ my wolf snickered while I just ignored her.

I wonder why I haven’t seen anyone while wondering around here.

‘Were probably in a private section, that or your utterly lost and won’t admit it.’

‘Shut up, their smell is clouding my senses’

‘Sure sure’

‘Why you-‘

“Are you sure” I heard Nathan call out from nearby.

I froze in my tracks and followed the direction of his voice. Silently I peaked from an open door into an office which I barely bothered to assess.

“Yes, they’re going at it again” I heard a man speak and shifted my eyes towards him.

Nathan sighed running his hand through his hair “If that’s so than both Violet and Alayna are in danger once again”

Instantly after hearing that I barged in. The two man turned towards me shocked before Nathan masked his.

“What’s wrong Vio-“I rolled my eyes before cutting him off.

“What’s this about me and my sister being in danger?” I demanded. He looked conflicted for a second before deciding to tell me. Smart.

“The original council is planning to do what they have been doing throughout the centuries once again. Turn both of you against each other.” Shocker.

“How will they even be able to accomplish that, they can’t easily fool her….” I trailed off while he just raised an eyebrow in amusement. Ok even Trent would see what was wrong with that statement.

“You and I both know that’s a lie Violet” He chuckled. “She’s as trusting naïve and gullible as she can be” He chuckled along with the other man in the room.

I glared at both of them. As bad as it sounds it’s just as true but, that doesn’t mean I want to hear it.

“Can at least know who they’ll be sending for that task?” I asked cautiously, if it’s who I think it is I’m torturing someone.

“A light witch named Stephen” He said cautiously while I just took a deep breath holding it in before letting it go.

I am calm, I am calm, I am- oh who am I kidding

“Excuse me while I go find a Hobo”
