Chapter 32 - Master?

In the room Master monk and Aiyara stood there in silence. The dim light of the lanterns hanged in each corner bathing the room with in silence. Master monk turned and looked at Aiyara who was standing nervously. Her fist clenched and her eyebrows furrowed tightly. He sighed looking at her state then shook his head.

"Are you serious about the diagnosis you made?" He asked.

Aiyara raised her head "I will never go wrong in that matter. The poison in their body is truly dangerous and also you checked them as well. Then why are you asking me such question?"

"It's because to make sure of it. Besides you have been practicing the medicine for years now. So giving a light interrogation is not bad either. It will help you to improve yourself"

Aiyara poured "I have thoroughly checked their body condition. I don't know how they ended up catching such poison but this is true that the poison is high grade one and made by experts. This kind of poison can't be natural. It was human made"

Master monk nodded "this things are becoming serious. I think there are more than we can imagine. But before going through that matter, more important is to find a solution of this situation. The disciples has been my responsibility and if anything were to happen then I can't answer their guardians for putting them in the mouth of death without any guilty"

"That kind of poison also can't detoxified by Arak who has speciality in poison study. He directly rejected" Aiyara frowned.

"He is good but not the best one. Arak hard work to study but still his mind also has some limits that can be crossed so it's natural for him to say he is unable. Afterall he is still a disciple" master monk shook his head. How come some unknown poison had attacked his disciples out of no where. This has never happened before.

"If those disciples couldn't be cured then all people will lose their trust in our traditional medicine practice. It will be a great shame for our temple. We can't even save our own people then how could other people believe in us to save them"

Aiyara looked at him then sighed "I think I need to ask for help" she said after sometime.

Master monk glanced at her "are you sure?" His lips curled in mocking smile.

Aiyara glared at him "what's wrong with that? If a disciple couldn't solve problem it's their masters duty to help them so that the disciple can improve the themselves. You don't have to mock me like that. You are worst, even in such situation you dare to give such expression" she huffed then turned around and left quickly like there is fire.

Master monk looked at the closed door then shook his head. This child...

In the room Nandini was lying on couch closing her eyes. Just then someone barged inside like a whirlwind. Atropa and Ageratina startled looking at the person and the flower pot in Atropa's hand almost crashed on floor. Nandini opened her then looked at the person standing before her.

"What's your problem?" She asked lazily.

The person before her suddenly fell on her legs and clutched on it tightly before bawling "master you have to help me. Even that man mocking at me"

Nandini narrowed her eyes "oh, you still remember you have a master?" Then closed her eyes again "you can't even properly walk and fell on people, I don't recognise you as my disciple"

Atropa and Ageratina at the side snickered lightly.

The person's eyes filled with years "master you can't abandon me like that. That incident was an accident. I just slipped and couldn't control my body and fell on master's husband. Master I have always been a good disciple. How can you abandon me like that. Master you have to help me"

Nandini opened her eyes again and looked at the girl who was still clutching her legs. She sighed inwardly. Who will believe that this is the same girl who seems arrogant before everyone like a tigress but in the room she is no better than a little mouse.

"Are you trying to cripple my legs? Let go and get up. Don't shame me by bawling like that" Nandini waved her hand. Aiayara happily stand up.

"So why are you here?" Nandini asked.

"Master you know the situation but still asking like that. Don't tease me" Aiyara pouted.

Nandini gazed at her from head to toe. The flower is blooming and spreading its petals beautifully. The girl who is hard strong on surface is actually a little innocent one inside. But looking at her who will understand that fact. Since the day she arrived in temple this girl is following her. It is true that left the temple long ago but could never forget this cute little girl. She is younger but still so understanding.

"Ageratina fetch me the green box" Nandini said finally. Aiyara's face beamed with smile. She new even if that old man don't help her, her master will never leave her behind.

After sometime a free box was carried and placed on table. Nandini opened the lid and pulled out small green bottle from it then throw it towards Aiyara who perfectly caught it. Her eyes lingered on the small bottle in her hand before looking at Nandini.

"Come here" Nandini gestured and Aiyara hurried towards her. Nandini leaned and whispered something in her ear making her eyes wide.

Back in the room, the disciples lying on bed almost losing consciousness. The pain and burning sensation is too much to bear. They couldn't hold back and find that death is better than suffering like this. One of them looked at Master monk who strode inside quietly.

"Master, holding this pain is too much. It's netter if you grant us ro die. Living like this is worse than death. Please help us master" one of them said with difficulty.

"Master forgive us for not being able to serve this temple anymore. Please don't take the responsibility of our demise be because whatever happened is our own fault for being not careful. Please help us to die master. It's too painful to live" another joined.

Other seniors who were present looked at them pitifully. Though they do have skills but this kind of matter is not something they can handle. Those who were lying has rashes on their skin which is swelling with passing time. They even lost their hope for living.

Just then another voice sounded "how dare you?"

Everyone turned only to find Aiyara and Arak standing on door. Aiyara walked forward and glared at those who were lying on bed.

"You think death will solve everything? You can't bear pain but can die throwing all responsibility to master. Have you ever thought after you die what will your family say about master? Will they understand what situation is. Do you think they will have the heart to be kind enough to let go this matter? Have you ever thought what will this world say if they hear your wish? Will there be anyone who will still believe in us? And you said dying will solve everything just because you said so?"

The whole room fell in deep silence. Those disciple lying on bed felt guilty. They are trying to fight but the pain was too strong. But what Aiyara said is also true. Even if they don't have any regret but their family will never think like that. There are even some who fought with family to join the temple. If they die here, the temple will be in chaos. Thinking all of that they felt shame.

"Dying is too easy but living is too hard. Those who choose death than living refered as coward because they don't have such gut to fight and Varishtha Temple does not need such people. If you want to die then this instant I will throw you out of the temple and cut all ties then you can go and die happily and we won't care" Aiyara's voice boomed again. Even the voice does not seems too strong but the words that has neen said is strong enought to change the expression of people in the room. Master monk looked at Aiyara in surprised.

"No, senior Aiyara please we are at fault. We don't want to be get expelled from the temple. Please forgive us for being so unreasonable"

"We lack thoughts and decided such thing. Please spare us this time"

"We realised who wrong we are. Please don't expel us from here"

Those disciples shouted together.

Aiyara looked at them with cold eyes "so you are willing to fight now?"

"YES"

"Very good" Aiyara nodded "Arak" she called out.

Arak nodded and walk forward and pulled out few needles from his medical box before stabbing it on the injured disciples. It was a kind of detoxifying method that Arak use normally. After an hour he finished and Aiyara feel them a pills.

"Senior Aiyara what kind of pill you feed them?" One of the senior asked.

"It's cell generation pill. Those poison has damaged their internal organs so this pill will help recover them from inside" Aiyara replied.

"But is not it said that poison is too risky?" Another one asked curiously.

Aiyara nodded "it is but most terrifying is the effect of the poison. It has spread in veins affecting the body so the poison has become ordinary one after the effects are shown. That's why normal poison detoxifying method will work and this pill will cure the effects of the poison left in body"

The seniors was in amazement. They knew Aiyara has great skills in medical line. So for her doing something like this is normal. But they admired her much. After taking the pill those disciples stopped groaning. The pain lessen and they could breath in relief.

"They will be fine in a month" Aiyara said finally and those disciple thanked her again and again. But what on surface is not always true. Who could have ever think that the helping hand behind the scene is not the person in lime light.

Master monk looked at Aiyara before leaving the room quietly. Back in Nandini's room she was looking out of window when Atropa walked from outside.

"My lady, master monk desires to meet you in his study"

Nandini turned and sighed before nodding "let's go..."
