Big names like Death Battle just make up shit about Ichigo and people will believe them because they have numbers, whilst ignoring the actual people who know what they are saying on Ichigo's power scaling, like Jaymes Hanson or Clyde, even non power scalers like Zack Brangen are more credible than like Death Battle or Just a Robot in terms of Bleach's power scaling.

So, why am I here today? Well, I want to become the Seth the Programmer of Bleach. Will it be hard? Of course it will be, there are already some Bleach power scalers that are ahead of me, like Bleach Hub and Clyde, but only time will tell.

Anyway, today's topic is debunking some miss conceptions people would have on Ichigo's power scaling. Since people use Ichigo a lot in vs battles, I thought starting with him would make sense.

And no, I am not debunking stuff like town level Las Noches (which was scaled to be at best continental level), I am more or less debunking the miss conceptions that exist surrounding Ichigo, and you'll find them a lot like in Death Battle. So let's start.

The first one is saying Soul Society Ichigo is lightning level because of this statement:

You see, these statements don't work. Because it's wording that we use to make it sound impressive. The wordings include God Like or Lightning. Saying Ichigo's peak being lightning level isn't good, especially since all that it's meant to show is how impressive Ichigo's Bankai is. Heck, the wording isn't even meant to be taken super literal. Plus, the same scan shows Ichigo having God Like strength! Does that mean Ichigo can now hit as hard as a God following your logic? This is also contradicted by other feats that we see early on in the series. This includes Ichigo blocking a Cero, two Lieutenants dodging the Negación, both of which are described as light and Ichigo scales above both, and scaling to a Bankai Byakuya who would logically be faster than both of those feats combined (it was the same Ichigo who beats up 3 Lieutenants with his bare hands).

So unless Bleach's lightning is considered FTL, than this statement is already contradicted by these 3 impressive FTL feats.

Next up is Ichigo in his Dangai form only being mountain level.

This is not really that hard to debunk if you know how Bleach's ap showcases are(if not for the fact the Dangai being stronger than Vasto Lorde, the Hollow Mask that got stronger and Bankai Ichigo combined). Unlike in Dragon Ball or Naruto, where the bigger the explosion=more damage output, Bleach's way is more dependent on the more Reishi you have=more damage output. For example, Vasto Lorde Ichigo was able to negate the Lanza Lampago by Ulquiorra, which was stated to be able to destroy Las Noches, and Aizen fired a casual Cero that caused a crater that burned Ichigo's arm. If You noticed well, the explosion size for Ulquiorra is much bigger than Aizen yet we all know Aizen is MUCH more powerful than Ulquiorra (I mean, Aizen can stand casually against Starrk, who can kill Hollows by existing, whilst Ulquiorra admits Starrk is much more powerful than him) so how the hell can Ulquiorra cause more damage by explosion size if Aizen is already naturally stronger than him? There are also FAR better feats to go by, such as Aizen's Black Coffin:

Plus, this falls under the lines of a fallacy, that I'll explain after this next segment.

The third now is Ichigo isn't MFTL, he's only 20 times FTL. Why? Remember the Ceros?

Yeah people use this to determine Ichigo's max speed. This isn't a good way to show of Ichigo's speed, because in Soul Society, he was able to defeat Byakuya, who I got up to 24 times light speed... CASUALLY!

Like, Ichigo is already light speed, so then here is Renji giving Ichigo a hard time, in the manga it's presented to be FAR more aggressive on Renji's end and Ichigo having a harder time blocking. Anyway, the number that is normally used for speed blitz is being 2 times faster. Since Ichigo is now baseline light speed, Renji is now 2 times light speed.

Ichigo is then able to get a boost in power by Zangetsu, and what we see is that he is blitzing Renji's reaction speed, we see smudges, after images and stuff. Renji was 2 times faster than Ichigo, but now Ichigo is 4 times FTL.

Then, here is Byakuya who slashed at Ichigo 3 times, and Ichigo couldn't even react to any of them! Meaning if one slash is him going 2 times faster than Ichigo's reaction speed, that means he went 6 times faster! Byakuya is now 24 times light speed! This isn't including the fact Byakuya was holding back, both him and Renji have limiters which limits their power levels and logically speed. You can also try to make the argument for Espada's Ceros being faster than light, because I mean they're fighting FTL characters with light speed attacks, so their normal Ceros have to be also faster than light.

The excuse people normally give to these feats is that "but the other feats aren't quantifiable" or something, this falls under ignorance fallacy or personal incredulity. Where you can't comprehend Ichigo's other feats, so you say they aren't quantifiable.

Just to give you examples.

Example 1: I can't comprehend Goku's other lifting strength feats, so he's at best 40 tons.

Example 2: I can't comprehend Bankai, so they don't boost your stats.

Example 3: I can't comprehend absolute zero, so Rukia can't freeze stuff to absolute zero.

You see where I'm going with this? It's for people who don't even wanna put in effort to find out the character's true stats. This also does fall the line with Dangai only being mountain level, because people just take what they first see as fact, such as the people who claim Dispo is the first FTL character in DBZ. Finally, is the whole through out the whole series, Ichigo is only Mach speeds or something which is a straight up lie. There are literally faster than light speed feats in Soul Society, Hueco Mundo and TYBW arcs, and I've shown them as well. We have statements that imply they are light attacks, or even being shown to be faster than light as well.

I mean like, if you think Bleach is only sound speed because of one statement than I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what can save you, I'm not sure what can help you, like not even a doctor can save you, because we have WAY more light speed feats than sound speed feats in Bleach.

Okay, so some people will say that "just because it says light, doesn't mean it's even light speed" for like the Cero. However, this already contradicts the 20 times light speed Ichigo shit, because if Ceros aren't even light speed, then how are Balas 20 times faster than light? And now, yes, because it says light it is light speed. There's a difference between light properties and light, light properties is an ability that acts like light but isn't like light, such as the Spirit Gun.

Light... is what the name states, it is light, so logically they travel at light speed. Plus, why not use Occum's Razor?

Yes, Ocum's Razor would dictate that Ichigo is already light speed.
