Hello Back.

First I wanted to put some context here so you can understand better. In Germany we have elementary school till fourth grade(except in Berlin, there is till sixth grade)
After that we can choose between „Gymnasium" „Gesamtschule“ and „IGS“
In gymnasium You have to do your diploma at the end.
In Gesamtschule you don't need to do a diploma but if you want to, you can change to a Gymnasium in ninth grade
(Gesamtschule is till ninth grade and Gymnasium and IGS till thirteenth grade)
In an IGS you can do your diploma, but don't have to.

I chose a Gymnasium. On that Gymnasium I was the only one from my elementary school to go there(except one kid) and all the others were from three other schools and already knew each other.
Now I also know them, but when I first came there a few years ago I couldn't really find a way in there(I still don't)
