June 1998

"I cannot believe you are refusing to kiss me." He nudged so that the duvet uncovered me. I pulled back. 

"Because we haven't stopped kissing for like an hour."

"So, I really like your lips." He turned himself back over and kissed me once again, but with no force, just the feel of my lips on his.

"We have to get ready."

"Why?"

"Because everyone is in the commons studying for our charms and transfiguration exams today."

"Yes, but I don't care about doing well." He wrapped himself around my waist and pulled me into him. After the ball, If it was even possible, we've become more touchy. It has been very hard to not go that step further. I don't know why he wants to wait so long. Yes it's only been what, two weeks?

"Come on, get up." I untangled myself out of him and I went on top of him. His hands immediately found my butt and he rubbed his hands on my skin. 

"If anything this will make me want to stay in bed more." I moved up a little so that I could kiss him. "That was not good. Don't move anymore, here." He picked me up at my waist and propped me on the ground next to the bed while he stretched out, staying under the covers. I had finally caught on and started laughing. 

"This is so your problem, I could've helped you with that, but no, let's wait." I said sarcastically. 

"Get dressed or something, if you keep standing there we won't be waiting much longer." I kept laughing as I opened his drawers to my section of clothes. I got undressed out of his shirt, leaving me in my underwear and I turned my head and found him staring.

"That's not going to help your situation."

"I did say get dressed." I put on my skirt and my shirt, untucked as always, and I put on my tie, not bothering to tighten it as usual. I put on my robe and turned to him still in his bed. 

"You're still...?"

"It's been a couple months Dav." I stopped myself from laughing again and I went over to him, I leant down and kissed him softly. 

"Sorry, but I'm going so I had to say goodbye."

"You tease." I grabbed my book bag on the way out. 

I found Draco and Blaise on a table in the common room and I propped myself on the free chair. I got out my charms work and I watched as they were gawking at the words in their textbooks.

"Hey guys." 

"Oh, I didn't even notice you sit."

"Yeah, when did you get here?" Blaise questioned.

"You guys will do fine, you shouldn't stress."

"We know but still. You don't need to study though, this is an easy ace for you."

"Not necessarily, I missed the last couple classes so I have to revise on what you guys did."

"We covered lumos maxima and the confundus charm." I shut my book.

"Oh, okay, then I don't need to revise." They both looked at me with disbelief and then shook their heads. Blaise went back to his book and Draco raised his eyebrows behind me. I turned seeing Mat.

"Oh, you've finally come down." I chose my words carefully and I wanted to burst out laughing by his reaction. He was on his way over to us but then he paused in his tracks and I too snapped at the entry to where he had looked. 

"We're back!" I immediately jumped up and ran to the two boys who just walked in and they both grabbed hold of me. 

"Merlin's beard why didn't you two write to me?" I noticed them, aware of how they now tower over me. Theo just grew in height but Lorenzo got so handsome. Those American girls were lucky. 

"Oh we thought we'd surprise you. And ourselves apparently, you have gotten so gorgeous." I laughed at Theo and then my waist was pulled to the rich man himself. Lorenzo. 

"Sorry Theo, but she's mine now." I just laughed, amazed and happy to see them, and also aware of their slight change in accents, it was nice. 

"Actually she's mine now." They both dropped their smiles as I my hand caressed another that was familiar.

"Oh bugger, that's unfortunate. Hey, weren't you two like, just friends?" Theo asked and I just looked up at Mat who seemed tense, merlin knows why.

"Not exactly friends, we were close and now we're just closer." Theo just nodded, his eyes still switching between Mat and I.

"And here I thought you would be here waiting for me. We're engaged after all," Enzo said and I laughed at the memory.

"Engaged?" Mat questioned.

"Yeah, during one of the winter breaks when you and Malfoy left her here all on her lonesome, we would spend everyday at Hogsmeade and one day in the white snow we got engaged."

"Yeah, I would always third wheel, even though Enzo was my childhood friend and I was the one to introduce them. But apparently it's no more seen as how she's moved on. Pity, you can finally like someone else for a change." I was a little confused with his last sentence but I just brushed it off.

"We're studying for our exams today, but we can hang out after, how long are you guys staying?"

"Our Fathers are back at the British Ministry for some vaguely mentioned business so we're finishing our last year at Hogwarts. We just came to see you before the holidays." I nodded.

"Alright, so dinner then?"

"Deal." I smiled again and hugged them. 

"I'm glad you guys are here."

"Well we missed you Claire." They always called me by my middle name and I smiled at the memories. 

"Same here."

"Well we'll be off, I didn't really care for anyone else in this house, maybe Malfoy but he seems busy." Theo kissed me on the cheek as a goodbye and Enzo just smiled as they walked out. I turned to Mat still smiling wide.

"I can't believe their back. You okay?"

"Mhm."

"You're not."

"I'm good, but maybe just tell them not to hug you like that, what's wrong with having their hands on your back and not your waist. And since when were you engaged, and why did he kiss your cheek. They flirt with you a lot, and I didn't know that you'd spent the whole of Christmas with them. And is Lorenzo in love with you or something?"

"Mat, slow down, their my friends, and Lorenzo has always been like that and he is not in love with me."

"Why wouldn't he be?"

"Mat, don't worry, I'll tell them later to not be so touchy with me because I'm taken."

"You are?"

"Yes, and so are you."

"Of course Davina, I am wholeheartedly yours." My heart smiled at his words and after waiting to see if he would say it I spoke as well.

"And I am yours." I exhaled in relief and I leaned up to kiss him. The boys from our dorm had been looking and a few girls as well. Everyone surely knew now?

"Did you do the last question?" I asked as Draco, Mat and I dragged ourselves back to the common room after our two exams.

"No way, I just left it, but you obviously did." Draco said. 

"Yeah, but not well, it was hard." We finished going down the stairs and we said the code and walked through the passageways.  

"I'm so tired." 

"Well don't walk." Mat said and he picked me up and carried me into the common room.

"You're back." As Mat put me down and kept a protecting arm around me my eyes met with Theo's and Enzo's who were chilling on the couch. 

"Yeah, I'm exhausted."

"Yeah we had our exams last week." I noticed that Enzo hasn't been very talkative, I wonder if he's okay.

"Where are you guys staying?"

"We were just gonna crash here."

"Okay, well after dinner we can hang here then."

"Great, what are you doing now?" Theo asked and I replied. 

"Uh, well, just relaxing." I looked at Mat and we began for his dorm. Draco just laughed.

"I'll go for a walk then," he said and walked out with a knowing smile. 

"Ah, right, see you at dinner then." I dragged Mat behind me as we went to his dorm. 

"I didn't know we had plans."

"I know, I made them just now. I decided I wanted to hang out with you."

"That's so nice of you, but what if I was busy?" He joked.

"Then you'd cancel your plans." I said as I snaked my hands around his neck and kissed him. I backed us to his bed and we fell on it as we kissed. He was above me and I laid there as he kissed down my neck and behind my ear. 

"I don't have plans... ever," he mumbled. "I am at your disposal." He returned to my mouth and our tongues combined as we kissed and his hands stayed firmly at my waist under my shirt. We kept kissing passionately and his hands trailed up a little further. I didn't mind, in fact I arched up at his touch but he huffed out and got up from the bed. 

"What?"

"I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"Touching you like that, I should've asked."

"Mat, it's okay, I didn't mind."

"That's not the point."

"It is really okay though."

"Everything was okay?"

"Well it was more than okay. Come back." He sat on the bed next to me. "I don't mind if you don't want to talk about it, but I just want to know why you want to wait and why you keep pulling away when things get too heated?" He deep breathed and I sat up to meet him, pulling down my shirt.

"It's not that I want to wait, I just, well... you know I've been around."

"Not as much as Draco, but yes."

"No one has been around more than Draco. But what I'm saying is, is that a lot of girls at this school want to, you know."

"Yes, I do, I hear it all the time, especially when we were strictly friends."

"What I'm getting at is that I've been around but I've never done the feelings thing, and I'm just worried that if we cross that line then you'll see something you don't like, because I've never done it with feelings."

"Is that why?"

"Yeah."

"Stop worrying then, I've done it without feelings and with feelings and you won't know unless we do cross that line. Nothing you do will scare me away, I'm not going anywhere." I hugged him tightly, resting my head on his shoulder. He exhaled and relaxed on me then he pulled away and looked at me.

"When have you done it without feelings, and with who? And how many times?"

"I've done without feelings with 3 people and one of them we did it four times and the others were just once," I explained, knowing he wanted to know all the details. 

"That's amazing, now answer my other questions." He said, sarcastically. I laughed and continued.

"Graham, the guy who plays quidditch, Blaise, you know who he is, and um another guy in another house."

"Graham?" He questioned in disbelief. "And Blaise? Really? When?"

"Like over a year ago or something."

"And who is this other guy in another house." He said, mimicking my vagueness. 

"Just a guy."

"What house?"

"Not telling."

"Don't tell me it's Gryffindor, no."

"Well." I said in protest.

"You absolutely loathe Gryffindors, yet you'll let them have sex with you. Who was it?" He asked.

"Just a guy."

"In our year level?" I should just be honest and so to answer his question, I shook my head. 

"Older?" I nodded.

"Does he play quidditch?" I nodded again.

"What is it with you and quidditch players? They've been all you've dated."

"No." I thought about it for a moment and laughed to myself, "I didn't even realise."

"I guess I'm special then."

"Well of course."

"So who is it?"

"Just guess it's literally down to a handful of people."

"Are they are Weasley?" I looked away and I felt the shock emanate off his face.

"You fucked a Weasley?" I looked back at his amused face.

"Which one."

"What do you mean?"

"Which twin?"

"It doesn't matter, you don't even know the difference."

"I'd still like to know."

"It was Fred." He nodded and then went to his thoughts.

"Just curious, who did you do it with four times, better not be carrot top."

"It wasn't, it was Blaise."

"So not only did a Weasley sleep with you before I got to, but a guy that sleeps in the same room as me, and you pretty much, has gotten to sleep with you four times." I let him rant, because I knew it wouldn't matter once we did it because I just knew that I wouldn't want anyone else.

"When did it happen, were you guys a thing? Did he like you?"

"Well, we care about each other and have been friends for however many years and one night I came in looking for you and Draco but apparently you were out and so were Crabbe and Goyle and it just sort of happened."

"I wish I was here," he said, remembering. "And how did it happen three more times?"

"Well, we did it in a broom closet, my bed and um at the three broomsticks." He looked at me with shock. "It was after the first time and there was so much tension."

"When?"

"Remember when we won the Quidditch cup and we went to Hogsmeade to celebrate one night as a house?"

"Then. Merlin's sake, you're telling me that when Blaise "excused himself" to get some air and when you said you needed to run an errand you guys were just doing it in the bathroom?"

"Pretty much." He caught me by surprise when he curled his arm around me and moved us down so that he was hovering over me as we laid there. He whispered in my ear.

"You have no idea what's coming." He kissed my lips softly and then moved us so that I was leaning on him. He must've done that on purpose because the boys walked in. 

"Now who's a tease." I said.
