This story means so much to me. Sa totoo lang, sobra. From the votes, the comments, the quiet support of silent readers—because of you, I found peace in finally sharing a story I had kept to myself for so long. And somewhere inside me, my younger self is very, very happy!

This is the first book I have ever finished in my life.

Growing up, as a kid, I always dreamed of becoming a comic or manga artist. I filled notebooks with sketches, panels, half-written stories-most of them hindi natapos (typical HAHAHA). Then around 2019, I was influenced by people close to me who were already reading and writing on Wattpad, and my teenage angsty self thought, "Why not?"

I tried. I failed. Perfectionism got the best of me.

For years, I planned stories I was too afraid to share, keeping them locked away in documents and papers that only contained fragments and prototypes of ideas huhu.

Until 2023, when I finally found the courage to commit.

I posted chapters for the first time in 2024 (Yah, hiatus na rin yung book na 'yon lol), and during that process, mas pinili kong e-prioritize yung idea na nagpapa-excite sa'kin eh: the full outline of the Ashburn Witches Trilogy was born. Yes—the trilogy is fully planned.

Pero kasi syempre, things evolve. Nagkaroon ako ng improvements, little by little. Not to mention, mga characters natin are so makukulit ih.

Some choices, consequences, and directions changed as I wrote-but that's because this is a dynamic story. One continuous narrative across three books. I didn't just write book one-I planted seeds. And interconnected silang lahat.

And yes, I know- it feels bitin :<

But trust me when I say this: Book One already holds the hints, the foreshadowing, and the foundations of everything that follows.

Lahat ng tanong niyo, may sagot na (kahit hindi pa 'yon buo, mostly nasa 1st book na yung mga sagot, just read and think beyond the lines from this book ;> ). Especially the why behind certain details, though, the remaining books serve as the final pieces of the puzzle. All you have to do is pay attention and ipag-connect niyo lang talaga sila lahat para makabuo ng bigger picture kung ano ba talaga ang mga nangyayari.

Exactly. What are the Ashburn Witches if not cryptic?

What I can promise you is this:

The story only gets darker, more intense, and more unforgiving as we move forward, especially in the final book. You'll see the characters grow in ways you won't expect. Sobrang mahal ko silang lahat that I can't even choose a favorite anymore huhu. They each shine in their own way, and trust me— there is still so much more to discover about them, especially sa pagiging weird ng Ashburn HAHAHA.

We are heading toward a FULL-CIRCLE MOMENT ACROSS THE TRILOGY.

The mysteries of Ashburn are only beginning to unravel. 

What lies ahead isn't simply a battle between heroes and villains, but a confrontation with truths buried for generations.

The next books will take this story somewhere darker, stranger, and far more personal than it first appears.

And when the final page is finally turned... I hope it leaves you with something worth remembering.
