You grabbed a fistful of Sasuke's shirt sleeve as he moved towards the staircase, "Hey, let's just wait a bit. I'm sure she'll turn up." You aid with a soft smile before your gaze went back to the open doorway.

  You, Sasuke, and Naruto had just turned in your forms to enter the Chunin Exams officially, however, Sakura had yet to arrive, and you refused to go on without your pink haired teammate.

  "Maybe, she's not going to show up. We should go, (y/n)," Sasuke proclaimed, a hand placed on your shoulder. Naruto frowned slightly but, he nodded as well before they both began to turn to walk up the stairs, they were already late as it is.

  You shook your head making them pause, "Sakura may not be as strong as the rest of us, but she's definetly not a quitter. She's scared, and actually I am too." You admitted, your eye's on the door as you shrugged, "But, that's no reason to stop now, we've come way too far. She's coming through that door."

   The boys looked at one another before turning away with a grin, "We are a team, after all." You turned towards Sasuke with a appreciative beam before laughing as Naruto exclaims in pure excitement.

   "We're gonna crush these exams! But, we've got to be a a complete team! Hurry up, Sakura-Chan!"

  Speaking of the kunoichi: "Alright, alright! Just give me a minute, baka!" The rest of the team looked down the staircase and you were the first to speak, "Saku-chan!" You pounced on the pinky in excitement.

   She went down with you on top of her, the two boys looking on in a mix of shock and relief. "(Y/n)-chan! Y-you're so embarrassing!" Sakura groaned as she put a hand over her pink cheeks.

   You laughed before helping her up and standing to your feet, "Gomen, it's just we were almost afraid you wouldn't show!"

  She chuckled nervously, "And miss this? Pfft, of course not." She was shaking visibly.

   You smiled anyway and led her up the stairs towards the boys, "Ah, Sakura-Chan! Glad to see you'll be with the team! We're going to crush them, dattebayo!"

   Sakura grinned and turned to Sasuke, "Sasuke-kun," she greeted, bringing her hand to her lips as she felt heat reach up to her cheeks once more.

   The Raven haired boy nodded at her in approval, his lips curving up slightly, almost unnoticeably. "Let's get moving," he said before turning and walking up the stairs.

  "Hai!" The girls agreed.

   Everyone began their course up the stairs, onto the room 301. But, as they reached the second floor, two chunin's stood blocking the doorway to the room 301. You tilted your head in slight confusion at the displaying number before understanding it was a genjutsu.

   "Please, Let us through! We're participating in the exams!" A girl with two buns in her hair said as she tried to push past the two boys blocking the entrance. A growing crowd had formed in front of the door but, it was blocked by two knuckleheads, they smirked in victory.

   "Get back, little girly! You should be playing dolls at home!" One of the Chunin replied before sending a punch her way, catching her on the cheek sending her back. You gasped before you seethed angrily, your fists balling up as a boy with bowl shaped hair cried out for his teammate before going to attack. He was shoved down with a grunt.

   "Hey!" You shouted. Catching nearly everyone's attention, the two chunin's especially. "What's with you, huh? Next time, why don't you have the guts to hit somebody prepared. Just shows how weak you are! Cowards, picking on everyone else!" You retorted in their face's.

   Sasuke and Naruto stiffened as they slowly got into a battle stance, they knew there'd be trouble.

   One of the Chunin snickered along with the other one, "Now, now, doll, don't be so angry at us. Wouldn't want to ruin such a pretty--gah!" He stopped mid sentence as he was punched right across the face, his back breaking the wooden door behind him. He slumped against the broken wood and their genjutsu flickered above, the room number 201 appeared within seconds.

  "I'm really tired of people calling me doll," You hissed before glaring at the other Chunin as he made his move to kick you, you were about to react when Sasuke came in front of you. His leg came up and he met with the chunin's, at least that's what would've happened if the same boy who was pushed down before hadn't intervened.

  Your eye's widened as you came from behind Sasuke, you watched as the boy shoved the two back and you held onto Sasuke's shoulder supporting him as he stumbled alittle. He nodded in thanks before his eye's narrowed at the boy.

   "What happened to laying low?" The girl with the two buns asked as she walked up towards the boy, he chuckled nervously and shrugged.

  Sasuke slowly left your side, Neji had slowly made an appearance behind the rest of the genins. As Sasuke walked off, you felt hands on your own before it seemed you were yanked downwards. You landed in the boys arm's, the same one who stopped Sasuke's kick, he held you tightly before without releasing your hands went on one knee.

  You chuckled nervously, "What are you--?"

   "I am Rock Lee! I have seen you're beauty from afar and I can know longer stand by as you continue your youthful days without me! Be mine! And I swear I'll protect you with my life!" He proclaimed as his eye's bulged with what seemed to be hearts.

  Sasuke and Naruto gaped before reacting, "No!" Naruto was much louder than Sasuke but, the Uchiha had the fire burning in his eye's to match.

   "Ew, of course not!" Sakura said in disgust.

   You only looked at him, your eye's wide in bewilderment, a huge blush crawling up your neck to your cheeks. You've never had anyone proclaim that they've liked you before and in so little time, Lee was straight forwards and actually pretty cute.

   "I-i'll, err, think about it," you answered with an awkward shrug as you tried to smile as brightly as you could. You hoped that didn't damper his spirits, he was so lively.

   The boys gaped and so did Sakura, Neji raised a brow in curiosity and Tenten blushed in surprise. "Wwhhhaa?!" Naruto shouted in shock.

   He hugged you close after that, making you blush harder. "Oh that's all I need! The thought of you thinking of me makes me strive to capture your love a lifetime goal! I will forever fight for you!"

   Sakura pulled you away as you seemed to swoon, "Ok! That's enough!" She exclaimed as she pushed you towards the stairs, Naruto grabbed you next his arm's around your waist and he nearly flew up the stairs away from Lee.

  "Matte!" You squealed before Naruto burst through the door of 301, eagerly.

  All of you were immediately greeted by dozens of elite ninja, and the rest of the nine rookies. All of the graduating rookies had been entered into the Chunin Exams, but we're you all prepared for what was to come?
