You all sat around the log Naruto was tied to struggling in vain. You found out that he had tried to sneak into the lunches and eat on his own.

He only grinned nervously upon seeing you and you sighed before shaking your head and sitting beside his tied form.

Kakashi was currently standing in front of us all, you kind of saw it coming but you were still shocked.

"ok so I have decided that I won't be sending any of you back to the academy..." Kakashi said.

Naruto looked confused but grinned "yeah!"

Sakura looked surprised "all I did was faint. Do you get points for that?"

You and sasuke glanced at each other. There had to be something more to this.

"...because I am dropping you all from the program permenantly!"

"What?!"

"But,you said we would only get sent back to the academy!" Naruto yelled. This had to hurt him the most out of all of us, becoming a Shinobi is a big part of achieving his dream.

Kakashi didn't seem pleased "you don't act like ninja there was a basic task to this exercise, you act like brats you aren't cut out to become ninja".

Sasuke glared at Kakashi before sprinting forward with a Kunai in hand, he was easily caught by the trained jounin and pinned to the ground.

"See you act like brats, you aren't cut out for this."

Sakura immediately reacted to her crush being stepped on "Hey! You can't just step on sasuke like he's a bug!"

Kakashi only continued "why do you think you were put into team's! There was only one point of this test and only one person out of this squad got it".

"Teamwork" you stated plainly.

Your teammates looked at you causing you to shrink back a bit "we are only genin fresh out of the academy, why would we go against a jounin who has spent years training on out own?"

Kakashi nodded and said "exactly but, even though the answer was simple it took time for you all to figure it out".

He looked at Naruto "you were to busy doing things on your own and put yourself first instead of your teammates" he turned to Sakura "you were too busy trying to get to sasuke while, Naruto was right in front of you".

He then stepped on sasuke's head a little harder "and you! We're too busy thinking your team would weigh you down and do everything on your own".

He then looked at you "even though you never fought with your teammates, you understood the message of my test."

He then turned to everyone "you all have one last chance to redeem your selves". He got off of sasuke and stood "eat but do not feed Naruto or you will be dropped from the academy".

He glared at you all before disappearing in a cloud of smoke.

Everyone not tied to a post grabbed their lunch before digging in. You heard Naruto's stomach growl and you looked up at him, he only grinned "I'm fine (y/n)-Chan I can go days with out eating!" He said with smile.

You shook your head before standing up and offering food to Naruto, you were surprised when sasuke did as well. You looked at him and he looked away his face turning red "just take it, I'm not that hungry anyway".

You smiled and then Sakura looked at her own bentõ before offering hers as well "it's okay I'm on a diet. Well, I just eat less then sasuke".

Wow, now that's dedication.

Naruto started getting tearied before saying "guy's I can't really eat my hands are tied".

You giggled "oh, right. Sorry".

You took your chopsticks and picked up a rice ball "say ah!"

Naruto opened his mouth "ah...".

Sasuke looked on in envy before turning his head and plotting how to win your heart. Sakura just wished she could feed sasuke like that.

Suddenly, thunder sounded as the sky grew gray and lightning struck the ground.

Naruto and Sakura gasped as Kakashi appeared in the middle of the field seemingly pissed.

"YOU GUYS!"

You and sasuke got into a battle stance ready to fight if need be.

"Pass".

"What?"
