Once outside, she slips off her heels and hurries to a small car parked on the street, Ron close behind her. Vanessa slips into the passenger seat while Ron takes the driver's side.

I cannot believe you.

VANESSA
Less berating, more driving! Go, go, go!

CUT TO:

EXT. SUBURBAN STREET - DAY

The car pulls away from the snaking line of parked vehicles and starts down the road.

FADE TO:

INT. SHADY BAR - NIGHT

Vanessa strides into the bar with all the confidence of the world while Ron follows her nervously, scanning the faces of their fellow patrons. As Vanessa walks up to the counter to order drinks, he gets them a small booth in a shadowy corner of the room.
