Chapter One
Chapter One: The Easy Decision
It was Yuki's birthday that day and the Kurans were celebrating it that night.
Worst of all was Yiku wasn't invited.
Yiku was glad actually.
She was hit by Juri and Haruka every night. As they badmouthed her, sending insults at her.
Every night Kaname would watch silently, not caring about what was happening in front of him.
Yuki would always get her in trouble every chance she got. And the only outcome was a punishment for Yiku and a Yuki who was smirking triumphantly who was always treated with love.
So much love in fact that Yiku wondered why she wasn't loved as much. It's just her appearance anyway. She as still their daughter...
So why?!?!
"I'm... ignored... abused... hurt and... I'm broken." Yiku muttered.
She looked around the dusty attic.
Her hearing was good and she could hear the happiness and yelling and screaming of joy in the farthest room in the manor.
It came from the room where they celebrated Yuki's birthday.
The lovely, amazing, clean basement.
She sighed.
"I'm going to leave here. Soon.." Yiku muttered.
But then immediately regretted her words. She decided to replace 'Soon' with another word.
"I'm going to leave this place! Not soon, not later, NOW!" She stated.
She decided to write one word on the only slip of paper she had... because she didn't have enough ink for anymore than 1 word.
She had a classic feather pen and an ink bottle.
She dipped the pen delicately into the ink and with neat scratching she wrote out the word.
She only needed a few things. And by 'few things' I mean one thing.
She made two copies of her diary and left one for the Kurans while she took the other.
She sighed as she opened the door slightly and tip-toed away.
She went up to the back door and opened it slightly, enough for her to fit in.
She closed it and started to run outside.
Who wouldn't?
She probably received the nickname Ms. Sobs-A-Lot by Yuki and Kaname probably just didn't naturally care about her.
She shivered slightly and adjusted the red scarf around her neck.
She continued to run and she was met with a forest.
A dark forest that seemed never-ending.
The forest which seemed to have said: "Go away and run back to where you're from. You aren't welcome here!"
She didn't know where else to go.
If she went to the streets the Kurans would find her easily and the treatments they gave her would just be worst.
And it would be harder for her to escape.
So, as soon as she collected and got her thoughts straight, she ran into the forest.
She ran and ran past the trees and the branches and thorny bushes that bare no rose.
She stopped when she reached the large clearing and rested her limp and petite doll-like body against a tall tree.
She sighed.
Her breathing was uneaven and she was tired.
Tired of running.
Yet she felt happy.
She was free.
"Vampires live forever. They can only be killed by weapons made especially to be used against them. Only vampire hunters bare such weapons. Purebloods can touch it of course but I'm a Pureblood..."
She stretched tiredly and her arm accidentally brushed against the thorned bush causing blood to flow out of the wound.
She heard moaning and groaning nearby and the sound of when you step on leaves, crunching. She heard dull footsteps and she whimpered. She hurried off to the center of the clearing.
But that was apparently the wrong choice that Yiku had made.
In this side... Level Es we're dangerous.
To be honest the ouritsu side is safer than the isagiyoi side, where I am.
Level E vampires came out from behind the trees and bushes, their eyes glowing and heading straight for the poor; scared; defencless little girl.
Soon enough they (the monsters) surrounded you.
As much as you didn't want to admit it...
You didn't want to die. You were so young!
"Such beautiful blood!" A Level E spoke up and the others' eyes only glowed a brighter red.
Yiku whimpered.
She was scared.
A faster pair of footsteps came up and a loud slash and clash.
You whimpered.
"Hey... are you alright?"
The footsteps approached you and you couldn't help but be overpowered with curiosity.
If he wanted my blood then I would have been bit long before. Did the person save me?
Yiku thought and lifted her head from her arms.
Soooo..... did you like it? It's only my first chapter so... tell me how it was and if I need to improve anything. Or if you have any questions.
The girl in the picture is Yiku, Yiku Kuran.
Have a nice day everyone~~~!!
